Don’t know how this is only a 4.7. The mole enchiladas are insane. The chorizo queso is out of control. Sangrias? Top notch.

Great service and food were delicious. Will be going back again since I want to try more from the menu. The outdoor seatings make better dine in experience.

Pleasanton has a charming Main Street lined with sidewalk cafes, some better than others. The Wild One Grill is outstanding. The ingredients were fresh and the proteins cooked perfectly. The service was warm and welcoming.

Grabbed a late lunch and definitely filled us up! Got the crispy taquitos and the grilled chicken mole and both were beautifully plated and delicious. Service was great and since it was 3pm, the restaurant was not busy but there were still a few groups eating.

💎Diamond among restaurants. The service was great. I ordered Poached Salmon 23$ - the salmon was cooked well, the asparagus was sesame perfect, and I liked the combination of sauces (tomato salsa under salad and creamy herb aioli on top of fish). The polenta was amazing - it has a crispy top and soft inside. 🍹Pina Colada has a pleasant and delicate taste, not super sweet. Thanks, see you soon!

Recently discovered this small Mexican restaurant on Main Street. But to call it a Mexican restaurant is misleading as their menu has many delicious dishes that are not typical Mexican style - poached salmon, pasta, salads. The chef is very experienced and happy to modify ingredients to your request. I am vegan and they adjusted several dishes.

Wow. Was not expecting what I got. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the presentation is gorgeous! We got the pork and plantain flautas (my personal favorite) and the chicken shrimp enchiladas. 10/10 would come again.

A higher tier of Mexican food all excellently prepared. Not the same old starch dishes, but instead true cooking like avacado tuna Not hot. My wife, who normally takes half home, ate it all, and the portion was generious

They did a great job on the decor in this very intimate restaurant. The employee behind the bar was very knowledgeable about the wines and beers served, it was something that I found very impressive. The owners are very thoughtful, they're doing what they love and it shows! They took a great amount of time on their food and drink menus which aren't large and that's great because the staff can learn and perfect every item without being overwhelmed. I like how they can help you pair your dinner and drink selection for an individualized dinning experience. This is a great place to stop in for a glass of wine, relax and watch the world go by.

my friends and i always come to this restaurant when we visit pleasanton and we love it! my personal favorite is the vegetarian bowl, while my friends like the avocado ahi tuna and the avocado lime chicken. the veggie bowl seems simple but the fresh ingredients and quality make it worth the price. the service is excellent and the waiters/waitresses made light conversation. overall 5/5 stars (and i would give more if i could 🤩)

The food ordered here was great! Had a pork and plantain flauta, which was crisp on the outside and very tender inside. It also had this refreshing citrus sour cream. The service is somewhere in between a sit-down and a fast food restaurant, and the woman who helped us was very friendly. This place is quick, but has prices typical of a sit-down restaurant. Overall, will definitely come back if in the mood for Mexican.

Wild One Grill is excellent. It is my favorite take out in Pleasanton. Everything I’ve had there has been impressive and delicious! I especially love the bowls and salads, but my family’s favorite item is the cajun salmon plate. The flavor and quality of the food cannot be beat for the price.

Delicious food presented beautifully. A really great find in downtown Pleasanton. We ate here before walking over to the Firehouse Theatre for the latest MoM Chautauqua presentation. Definitely a restaurant we plan to return often to try more of the many scrumptious items on the menu.

I would come back here for lunch every few days if I could. But I live 2 1/2 hours away! Maybe I should rearrange my life to come live in Pleasanton? For lunch, I had the ahi tuna and polenta, with roasted potatoes in a beautiful sunset- colored sauce. Every bite was beautiful and delicious. We plan to return in January 2026. Can I figure out a way to have lunch here at least once a month?

Excellent lunch , I had the veggie bowl, it was packed with fresh veggies, beans, rice and avocado . This is gourmet Mexican cuisine far better than your average Restaurant. I highly recommend.

I have been here 3 times, and every time the food is absolutely on point. They have the best carnitas I have ever had, moist and tender, with an excellent citrus based sauce. Their beans and brown rice are cooked perfectly (I need to find their secret for tender, flavorful brown rice), and the service is kind and welcoming. It's my new favorite spot in Pleasanton!

First time eating here and definitely impressed. Blackened Salmon, sweet potato and green beans, perfectly prepared and covered in mango and watermelon pieces. Vibrant colors and absolutely delicious. Less than $25 and super friendly staff. Highly recommend.

My friend and I just had a phenomenal lunch. The food was eclectic, and fresh. Everything on the plate complemented each other. I had the avacado Ahi...absolutely delicious. My friend had the chicken and shrimp enchiladas. She raved about it. The host was warm, gracious and welcoming. I can't believe I have overlooked the gem. Highly recommended!!

Tried a burrito here on a whim - seems like more a Baja fish style cafe rather than a traditional taqueria. Awesome service very welcoming and friendly, and I got fresh jalepeños fried in my burrito as asked. Otherwise though, the burrito didn’t blow me away, tender pork but not a ton of flavor, a good amount of aioli (read: mayonnaise), and a LOT of rice. That was the main issue, every single bite was like eating a rice dish. Good brown rice to be sure, and it went well with the sauce, but it was like 80% of the burrito. Sorry gents no hidden meaning here, but I want a mouthful of meat once in a while!
