Agriturismo La Reina Pollein Reviews
A very beautiful agriturismo, a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very large. We are a family of four, so the room had a double bed (the mattresses were perhaps a bit too soft, but that's a subjective opinion) and a bunk bed. The bathroom was large and impeccably clean. The food offered on the half-board option was excellent. They also have animals, and the location is strategic (5 minutes from the Pila ski lifts and a little further from Aosta). They also have a small shop where you can buy their products.
I've been there for dinner several times and everything was always excellent, and the staff was very friendly.
I went there for dinner with my family. We had a great meal at very reasonable prices, and the staff was very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it!
We stayed 10 nights at a beautiful farmhouse. The very reasonable price includes breakfast (both savory and sweet, with jams, pastries, canned fruit, and biscuits, all homemade). Guests can choose from a set menu (affordable, delicious, and almost always traditional) or à la carte. Reservations are recommended for dinner, as it's always busy! Clean rooms, daily housekeeping, and towel changes whenever needed, even daily. Friendly and professional staff, a relaxed atmosphere. They also have a shop selling traditional products and some small animals, like a petting zoo. Spacious room and bathroom. Strategic location for exploring the entire region. Highly recommended!
We had dinner at this agriturismo just outside Aosta; the menu is varied and interesting, with several dishes and some "daily" options (gnocchi, crepes, roasts). You can choose one of three set menus ranging from around €30 to €35: an appetizer-only menu, a full menu, and a vegetarian menu. We opted for the à la carte menu, and everything was well-cooked and delicious. The ingredients are excellent—I especially remember the very tender roast beef—and the home-cooked cuisine exudes tradition. The prices are more than fair, the service is friendly and quick, despite the dining room being full, and the staff is just one very capable woman. I highly recommend it!
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money.
We stayed a week at this beautiful agriturismo and had a wonderful time. The room and breakfast were superb. The entire staff was wonderful and kind. We couldn't find a single flaw. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything. The photos and descriptions don't do justice to the beauty of this place. It's superb.
I had dinner at this agriturismo one evening and returned the next! The staff were friendly and helpful. The agriturismo is family-run, and they produce almost entirely their own produce. You can dine in two sittings since the place is small. The platters with homemade cured meats and cheeses are excellent, and the desserts are spectacular. I recommend trying the chestnut gnocchi, the hamburger, and the carbonada with polenta.
A delicious, full-course dinner for €35, with several starters, several main courses, and a dessert. This will allow you to sample the region's specialties, all accompanied by a bottle of local wine for €17, with friendly, energetic service. A pleasant experience in a traditional setting.
Very good food and friendly service
Absolute gem of a restaurant. We ordered the preset meal and was surprised with every dish that came out. All very tasty and volume was fine too. Service was also nice and staff were very friendly. Pricing is good and affordable.
Omg what a wonderful place, absolutely fantastic 😍 They had a day of activities for children for Halloween 🎃, they sent us away, the kids had fun with them for 3h, and they have animals, vegetable patches, fantastic place, we will definitely go back.
THE Mecca for local food and a great representative of the Aosta Valley's farm grown food. Almost everything including the cheese, jams, etc. were locally produced (can't promise about the polenta though ;)) ). The staff were gracious enough to get me a vegetarian option when faced with no beef-no pork preference. My other half however went the entire mile with the salted beef et all - she loved the food to bits. Highly recommend the place even if it is a couple of miles away from the city centre. Must reserve in advance to eat here. I would even recommend walking the entire 3 miles from the city centre to be able to get even with the calories served here. The portions were unlimited and the cheesecake was splendid. Had to take a walk in between courses to be able to get through the meal :) Improvements: Maybe sign up to a site like "OpenTable" or similar app for booking a table. Had to call but there was no reply. Also perhaps provide a multi-lingual version of the website? in English, French, etc.
Handmade tradicional food, esplendido!
Really enjoyable experience. It's an agriturismo, but not a farm surrounded by fields as it's on the edge of Pollein. Recommended to us by the superb Hotel Diana who reserved us a table. Chose the …
Six of us on a ski trip and staying at the Hotel Diana Jardin et Spa in Pollein ate here on two separate evenings. We had tried to get a booking the previous year but failed so we were very happy to …
We had dinner, the tasting menu. It was good, and although the dishes weren't generous, you'd be left feeling full by the end of the meal.
They have a set meal for 30 euro but we decided to go for the regular menu. 1 antipasto, 4 primi, 1 main, 1 dessert, house wine, 2 coffee, 2 water and 2 digestive. 101 euro. The girl working the res…
