Update nearly a year later: Still as lovely, great food (also for vegetarians), very nice team - and Mimmo, the chef, is just wonderful - high up there on the old mountain street „Tracciolino“, worth any detour! One of the true gems in #bellobiellese…! ____ After a day in the mountains we found this hidden gem by pure hazard: what a lovely evening we had there! Excellent food (one of the best antipasti misti ever, tasty primi and secondi, nice Nebbiolo wine, etc.), a spectacular view over the lush green jungle forest mountainside AND the most hospitable, lovely service! Go there, have a chat with the chef, be a little respectful for the place and enjoy pure Biellese hospitality…

I was sleeping at the Graglia sanctuary. The sanctuary restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. The Rocchi staff kindly called me to arrange dinner. They picked me up and other pilgrims with a shuttle (it's 4 km from the sanctuary). Friendly staff, good food, and a beautiful location. I recommend it to everyone.

If you enjoy romantic sunsets, this is the place for you. The restaurant is located in the mountains, in a quiet spot in the Biella Prealps, yet easily accessible by car. There's a beautiful window overlooking the Serra moraine and the plain below. In summer, you can also sit on the terrace. The dishes offered are beautiful and original, but also delicious, and are seasonal.

The view......(breath taking!!) and authentic Italian food made our Italian holiday a little more special. Service was great and we had the best meal and night dining all week. I couldn't recommend it enough. Antipasti meat and cheese dish highly recommended. Thankyou so much. 😊

We went to Ristoro Rocchi for the themed evening with bagna cauda. What can I say, truly excellent! Hearty, with lots of vegetables, tomino cheese, and raw meat. We had a wonderful evening and will be back soon to try the rest of the menu!!!

Visited for the "Bagna Cauda" evening. Excellent service and a menu with a delicate yet distinctive flavor, perfect for a casual evening. Perhaps a neon sign and a few more signs would help find the place, as it's nestled in the woods on a decidedly secondary road.

A quiet spot nestled in the greenery of the Biella mountains. The restaurant offers sweeping views of the entire valley. Ideal for groups and families, including those with small children. It's also accessible for wheelchairs. The cuisine is well-prepared, featuring traditional local products. Highly recommended.

Locale decoroso con ampie vetrate che fanno su una splendida vista della Serra d'Ivrea. Pranzato nel dehor. Ho mangiato il San Carlino su crostone di pane tostato, la polenta concia e il dolce della casa. Il cibo è buono ma non memorabile. La porzione della polenta era giusta come quantità ma solo una fetta di pane con il San Carlino era poco, almeno due fette. Mia moglie ha preso l'insalata piemontese ed un piatto di tagliolini, concorda sulla bontà non memorabile e sulla quale quantità un po' scarsa. Diciamo che se dovessi trovarmi lì per altri motivi ci tornerei a mangiare, ma andarci apposta no sicuramente anche se non abito distante.

Location stupenda anche perché intorno ci sono tanti sentieri per le passeggiate . Ci aspettavamo di poter assaggiare i formaggi della zona . Purtroppo quel giorno non c erano. Comq servizio gentile e veloce. Molto gentili con i cani.

Serata “nata libera” disastrosa, venduta a 25€ a persona bevande escluse con musica dal vivo. Arriviamo ore 20.00, molta gente, ci fanno sedere tre crostini alle 21.00 pane raffermo crostino alla melanzana amarissimo gli altri due banali mangiati per fame. Il risotto alle ortiche non era un risotto, arrivato 21.30, era riso con sopra foglie di ortica intere e un po’ di toma sciolta sopra Ore 10.00 arriva polenta e spezzatino, passabile, la musica nulla, non pervenuta, ci alziamo 10.30 per andarcene senza dolce non ce la facevamo più, caldo e zanzare, pago lamentandomi e mi vien risposto che non posso capire quanto sia difficile organizzare una cena con così tante persone, risposta errata! Cambiate mestiere, la musica… non pervenuta …mi viene detto che comincerà a fine cena… pago 56€ euro e scappiamo …a mai più. Unica soddisfazione 10€ donati a “nata libera”

We spent New Year's Eve in a group of 20, but unfortunately, the culinary experience was largely disappointing. The set menu dinner turned out to be a complete failure: the dishes were poorly prepared and, in many cases, difficult to eat. Despite everyone's palate, no one managed to finish the entire menu. Specifically: The aspic had an overly strong and unpleasant gelatin, with almost no flavor; the cotechino was low-quality, extremely fatty, and unpleasant; the raw shrimp, obviously frozen, was served on a bed of unconvincing bean puree; the gnocchi were so poor they were hard to even describe; the sirloin steak, the only dish I personally managed to finish, was decent, but several diners received it completely raw; the tiramisu was average, with no particular positive or negative notes. The general discontent was expressed politely, but the comments were not met constructively. The cost of €60 per person, including menu and drinks, seemed completely disproportionate to the overall quality of the food. The only positive aspect of the evening was the live music, which accompanied the entire dinner and contributed at least partially to the more pleasant atmosphere.

We spent New Year's Eve at this restaurant with friends, and it was the worst New Year's Eve I've ever had. It takes courage to serve such subpar food, and it takes just as much courage to charge €60 per person. Just because it's New Year's Eve means you have to recycle Christmas leftovers. I gave the food one star because I couldn't give it less. Two stars overall only for the service, because the staff was friendly (except for what I think was the owner, who made an irritated gesture when he saw that many at the table had leftover food on their plates). Awful experience.
