The PERFECT Schnitzel ! We ordered the Fungi Rahm and the Metaxa Pepper Schnitzels, both tasted incredible. The food was perfect and the Staff are super friendly.

We found this place by accident walking around the city while at Port during a cruise. The staff were all smiles and very friendly. Food options were perfect, and the spin on several of the items were intriguing. The menu items we ordered were flavorful and well made.

Excellent service and tasty food.Reasonable prices. Whether you are vegetarian or a meat lover you will find something to enjoy here. Definitely worth the visit! The cheerful massages on the bottom of the plates are the fun surprise when you finish your meal. Bonus points for the very clean restroom- a rare and welcome detail.

Comida extremamente boa, atendimento impecável e uma atmoesfera confortável e calma. O preço é muito acessível comparado ao resto dos locais próximos! O serviço foi rápido. A única coisa a ressaltar foram as batatas fritas um pouco salgadas, mas de resto, foi incrível, voltaria com certeza!! ☺️

probably the best quality to price to food ratio, you get home made goodness for 2/3 of the price other restaurants charge for worse food. And the fries are the best on a I've tried in the whole of the Azores islands crispy but soft inside with great spices that don't over power it but enhance the flavour to the point you can't stop eating them. I really recommend this restaurant and if i ever come to Azores again i will come there again. (only note: it's sad they didn't have lamb that day really wanted to try it)

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubes auf Sao Miguel dreimal dort zum Essen und waren Gott froh dieses Lokal gefunden zu haben 🙏🏻 Dort passt alles. Vom super Service über die Qualität des Essens bis hin zu den Preisen. Ich denke hier könnten sich selbst kleinere Restaurants in Deutschland mal ein Beispiel nehmen.

Muy bien trato por parte de la mujer que nos atendió, la comida estaba muy buena de sabor y de cantidad. Es un local bastante bien ubicado y con variedad de comida si te gusta la comida india. De precio es barato para lo rica que está la comida y lo bien presentada que está. 30€ por dos platos principales y dos bebidas. Mi pareja y yo salimos encantados.

Great place to eat casual food. The menu has something for everyone without being huge. Everything is made from scratch and it was all good. The portions are good size. They actually have a few salads on the menu (rare for the island). We had pork schnitzel and chicken schnitzel. I got mine with the mushroom cream sauce which was very good. The chicken wings and fries were crispy and delicious. Someone else in our party got fish and chips and enjoyed it. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Das Ambiente ist stilvoll, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und unglaublich professionell. Unsere Fragen zur Speisekarte wurden kompetent beantwortet und die Empfehlungen waren hervorragend. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Das Essen war einfach top! Jeder Gang war geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt, schön angerichtet und von höchster Qualität. Frische Zutaten, kreative Kombinationen und eine tolle Präsentation – besser geht es kaum. Besonders begeistert hat uns die Liebe zum Detail, die man geschmeckt hat. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair für diese außergewöhnliche Qualität. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Der Chef sowie die Angestellten sind absolute Herzensmenschen. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben. Ein echtes Highlight auf unserer Azoren-Reise! Danke für den tollen Abend.

Der Service war mega! Das Essen super, der Preis auch bzw. vollkommen passend für das Essen. Es handelt sich im Finger Food, aber trotzdem liebevoll zubereitet und angerichtet. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt - die Pommes waren am allerbesten. Ein Paar Pflanzen als Dekoration wären schön und würde die Atmosphäre vielleicht noch ein bisschen abrunden🙂🪴

The food came fast and was very delicious and despite being mostly fried it did not feel as heavy thanks to added salads that added freshness. When it comes to the restaurant itself it is quite small but modern and clean with tables insade as well as outside. The staff was also very kind and welcoming. Would highly recomend to anyone.

This was a great, reasonably priced meal coupled with great conversation. We were able to walk in as it was not busy, and chose to sit in the back area as there was a cool breeze out front. The restaurant decor is being updated and from what we saw it is coming along nicely. Service was exceptional; pleasant, patient and answered all our questions. We had the Pepper Mataxa and Fungi Rahm with a cocktail and a glass of wine each with dinner. The schnitzel was great. We finished off the evening meeting the owner and a couple of now-local ex pats and had great conversation to close off the evening. Prices were reasonable. All in we spent €56.80…worth it.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The location is very central and convenient, and the restaurant itself is spotless and well maintained. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and very friendly. Although it looked a bit empty from the outside and we hesitated at first about going in, we are so glad we did. It turned out to be the best decision! The service was attentive and kind, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

Moje danie było przygotowane na głębokim tłuszczu, a porcja mięsa została bardzo mocno rozbita — w efekcie kotlet był duży objętościowo, ale praktycznie nie czuło się smaku mięsa. Wolałbym dostać mniejszy, ale solidniejszy kawałek. Frytki były smaczne i dobrze doprawione, natomiast surówka była niestety tak mocno octowa, że nie dało się jej zjeść. Mam nadzieję, że restauracja zwróci uwagę na detale w kuchni, bo obsługa i atmosfera na pewno zasługują na pochwałę.

We came for the beautiful terrace. We stayed because they locked us in a hostage negotiation in the dingy back room. Asked how long the wait for outdoor seating would be—got no answer, just an escort…
