Super freundlicher Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir sind gleich 2x her gekommen, und 2x traumhaften Sonnenuntergang genossen 🌅

Sind nach einer Levadawanderung zum Essen gekommen. Hatten nicht reserviert und doch wurde es möglich gemacht sehr lecker zu Essen. Hatten Octopuscarpaccio als Starter und dann Seebrasse und einen anderen Fisch. Sehr schön angerichtet und super lecker! Das Tiramisu war hervorragend!!! Da der Balkon direkt über dem Meer ist, hat man ein tolles Feeling beim Essen. Bei Sonnenuntergang muss es noch schöner sein, jedoch sollte man da mit einer Reservierung für einen sicheren Platz sorgen! Macht weiter so!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this gem of a restaurant, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. The setting is simply breathtaking — perched right above the ocean, with sweeping views that are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. It’s clear the staff takes pride in making guests feel at home. As for the food — delicious doesn’t even begin to cover it. We tried the filet steak and the black scabbard fish, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and flavorful, while the fish had a delicate texture with a taste that was both fresh and subtly rich. All in all, a perfect spot for a relaxing meal with a view to remember. Highly recommended!

Wow! Le meilleur restaurant de tout l’île de Madère. Service impeccable. Nous sommes arrivés à 19:30 sans réservation, on nous a expliqué que c’était plein pour la soirée… Finalement ils nous ont fait de la place et ça a valu la peine! - Soupe à la citrouille en entrée: 10/10 - Ribeye steak à la café de Paris: 8/10 (beaucoup de nerfs, mais quand même très bon) - Pâtes aux crevettes et parmesan: 8/10 - Dessert Tiramisu: 9:10. Très frais, très goûteux! Très bonnes portions, nourriture goûteuse. Bon vin pour accompagner. Et quoi dire de la vue !!! Magnifique coucher de soleil sur la terrasse. Dizaine de tables maximum dans le restaurant, très intime et tranquille.

Malutka, przyjemna restauracja nad (dosłownie) oceanem, w miejscowości gdzie są plantacje bananów, które mozna kupić przy drodze. Jedzenie przepyszne.

Przepiękne miejsce i pyszne jedzenie . Jedliśmy zupę warzywną i stęka wołowego i muszę przyznać że takiego steka nie jadłam nigdy w życiu . Przepyszny mięciutki dobrze wysmażony . Ceny troszeczkę wyższe od średnich ale każdy kęs Dania jest wart swojej ceny. Moim zdaniem jadąc na wodospad aniołów musisz tam wpaść .

Kommen immer wieder gerne her. Tolles Essen, nette Bedienung. Tolle Aussicht. Um 15:00 Uhr muss man nicht reservieren. Abends aber schon. Ist immer gut besucht.

The food was delicious and the waitress was lovely. Everything we ate was amazing. And it is recommended to reserve a table on time because the dining space is limited and quite small. All in all it is a nice and small restaurant with a great view and fantastic food.

Der Gastgeber ist witzig und sehr aufmerksam. Es werden auch Sonderwünsche ohne Probleme umgesetzt. Essen ist sehr lecker und preislich gut. Absolute Empfehlung!!! Must Visit in Madeira!!!

This place is very unique and has incredible view - sunset hour was just magical. For dinner definitely make reservation-it gets very busy. Food was great and our cocktail also.

We came here for lunch and had a perfect experience! Service was helpful, sweet and just overall great and made us feel very welcome. We had appetizer, main course and dessert and everything was fresh and delicious. Also the view is awesome like in a movie. For me personally best restaurant experience on this holiday. It is a busy place (for a reason) so it's best to make a reservation. We didn't have any problems finding a parking spot but it probably depends on the time you come.

Ebenfalls absolut empfehlenswert die Nachspeisen, insbesondere das Tiramisu. Die Kellner haben auch 5 Sterne verdient. 2x dort gewesen, beides mal super nett, zuvorkommend, lustig und sympathisch. Die Straße zum Restaurant ist offiziell gesperrt, für Restaurant Gäste ist sie jedoch passierbar und man kommt an einem Wasserfall der als beliebter Fotospot gilt vorbei. Reservierung ist empfohlen!

What a gem of a restaurant! It’s Italian, but all the ingredients are locally sourced from Madeira, which makes it even more special. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming. I had the best buffalo mozzarella of my life as a starter. The octopus was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My other half had the seafood pasta — absolutely finger-licking good. This place is definitely worth visiting. I’d recommend booking in advance as it’s very popular and seems to operate mostly on reservations — we were just lucky to get a table without one!

Obwohl der Laden ausgebucht war, hat uns die Kellnerin reingequetscht, und alles war traumhaft, Empfehlung der Bedienung hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, vermutlich wäre hätte es jeder Gericht in dem Laden gemacht, Die Karte gut angepasst, für jeden etwas drin, aber keine tausend Gerichte. Über Ambiente muss man nichts schreiben,jeden Tag zum Sonnenuntergang ausgebucht. Beim nächsten Madeira besuch werde ich auf jeden Fall hier ein Tisch buchen.

A cozy small restaurant with an opportunity to see a magnificent sunset. The stuff is very welcoming and attentive. The main dish “90degree octopus “ is yummy! I ordered the octopus starter which was not closely as I hoped for plus the price. Where it came a bit to disappointment I particularly asked for the size of the dishes. If I order both together which was too much for me(!) I rather would go for a nice dessert. In case you walk back, don’t forget a flashlight! Definitely a must to visit.

Das Essen ist je nachdem, was man bestellt, sehr gut. Gnocchi mag ich persönlich lieber angebraten, als gekocht. Die Fischgerichte oder das Steak waren aber sehr gut. Das Restaurant gehört zum Escarpa Hotel, welches direkt darüber liegt. Da es ein kleines Restaurant ist, ist es durch den Hotelbetrieb Abends auch gut ausgebucht. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett. Wir waren mehrfach dort Essen, was für sich spricht. Gästen,, die nicht zum Hotel gehören, würde ich dden oberen Parkplatz nicht empfehlen. Zum einen geht es dort eh schon eng zu, zum anderen ist es für die Hotelgäste ärgerlich, da wegen des Wasserfalls die Park- und Verkehrssituation auf der engen Straße eh schon bescheiden sind.

Great place, good food, good service. The view is magnificent, although people woth vertigo should probably stay away from the window seats. Certainly worth the visit, it's up on a steep hill, so parking and turning your car might be a bit of a challenge when it's busy.

If you’re near the waterfall, be sure to visit this place. Delicious homemade food and an absolutely incredible ocean view. I slightly lowered the rating because the pasta was served cold. As for dessert, we had homemade panna cotta
