The food, carnitas plate, brought harmonious taste from the start..the plate was outstanding..the owner and waitstaff were working in unison and I never was left out..the mango margarita was outstanding with the meal..highly recommended if you haven't been there..(update: 02/20/2023)..had ordered dinner and had just begun to eat when the waitress began cleaning tables with an ammonia mix compound that was so strong it depleted my appetite and I had to leave bcz of the strong smell...she should have waited until closer to closing but that may be their practice...I will never eat dinner around 8pm at this place..

I went in looking for a chicken noodle soup and ended up getting the Tortilla Soup. It was delicious and really hit the spot. I usually get the Carne guisada, and I always love that too.

From San Antonio just visiting in the area. Leones is my new favorite restaurant when in the Victoria/Port Lavaca area. I had the enchiladas poblanas that were really good and also ordered a carnitas taco as well that was also super delicious. Brought home a big bag of pan dulce but had a cream cheese empanada before digging in to my meal. Empanada was just about the best I've ever had. If you live in the area or are just passing through, this is where you want to eat.

You get a lot of food for what you pay. The vegetarian quesadilla was really good. My husband got the camarones diabla plate & said it was great & really spicy. We got cheesecake, too, and it was sooo good! We did have to order our sides a la carte. That was probably the only little quirk. We stopped here while passing thru traveling. Stopped for lunch while traveling and thought we'd try something different. First off, the salsa was THE BOMB! Chips were very fresh and NOT greasy. Choriqueso appetizer was spicy and melty and delicious, served with choice of flour or corn tortillas. And fried avocado caught our eyes, we chose shrimp-stuffed instead of fajita stuffing and were not disappointed! Servers were friendly and prices reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This was 100% the absolute best place I found while in Port Lavaca. The food is great. Everyone from the owner, the cooks, waitresses, to the bussers are absolutely amazing. Breakfast, the biscuits and gravy are delicious. Dinner the camarones a la diabla are equally as delicious. There is a large selection of homemade sweets if that is your thing. If you have one place to eat, you owe it to yourselftomake this the place. I would absolutely go back if ever in the area. 10/10

Several tables had customers and we were a Party of 9 with 4 kids, and as we were doing drinks orders another party of 10 arrived, drinks arrived quickly, fresh chips n salsa, lunch didn't put a burden on anyone and everything came out great.. will definitely stop by again..

Enchiladas were dry. The Hawaiian burger was great. Onion rings were fluffy and pleasing to the eye. Waitresses were very nice and courteous and very helpful.

My husband had a fish dish that we had never seen on a menu before. The fish was very tasty and strangely enough the rice side dish was very good! I had a dish of chopped up pork that was cooked with pineapple. Strangely enough there was not much of a pineapple taste but it really did complement the pork it was very well done. Really enjoyed our meal!

Too many tomatoes in the guacamole but everything else was delicious. The wait staff were fantastic. We had a group of 5 and the staff took us in stride. We were very pleased!

It was not bad but also not great. Not quite average. The tables are way to close to even move around easily or get to the front door. All in all I think 3 stars is fair.

109 for 6 plates so prices were decent, customer service was great, dining in was nice ,we got to watch Texas game so very accommodating. The food was bland I needed more flavors, the salsa wasn't hot. The margarita machine was ready nor was the pan.

The breakfast is good.the bolios progresso highly recommend. However the bread I've bought it twice and it's hard an old like they have kept it for awhile. The Chile relleno was not good at all it was full of tomato sauce and soggy. And the tres leches was not good at all for $9.

First time there. The menu looked good and prices reasonable. We asked for a recommendation, it was fajitas. We shared one order which was a good size. They gave us only two tortillas and we asked for two more and we were charged $2 more. The sad thing is that we didn’t eat any of them as they were way too thick! The beef was too chewy because it was sliced along the grain. Everyone knows that you slice against the grain and to take it up another notch you cut at an angle as well. When asked how everything was I explained that the beef was sliced incorrectly so it was too chewy. They didn’t seem to care. We won’t be back.

My wife and I came there a little after noon and she asked if she could have breakfast. They said yes and we ordered and I had a dinner. I received my shrimp a la diabla and my wife received her breakfast 15 minutes later after I had to ask where her breakfast was. My meal was very good but my wife’s breakfast was mediocre. When I paid the bill I didn’t realize that they had already added the tip to the credit card bill and I was not informed of such an action. We will not be going back.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but it's just not the same anymore. We stopped in today for lunch, and I ordered beef fajitas. I got chicken. They did offer to change it out, but my wife already had her food, and we didn't really have the time to wait. The food was just OK, nothing special. The corn tortillas were probably from HEB across the street. As for the Panaderia side, it's really non-existant. It hasn't been for some time now. That's too bad. It's one of the reasons I started coming here in the first place.

They wouldn't sell me a lb of tortillas like I requested w my order of barbacoa. The guy that was cashing me out told me so rudely that I can make my own at home and that he could only sell me half lb and that I can take it or leave it! SMH he ruined my Sunday! I'll never ever go there again! With that being said the barbacoa wasn't good at all! 🤦🏻‍♀️😡

The worst thing that has ever happened to me at a restaurant! I ordered shrimp enchiladas to go, and when I took I bite I realized they were vegetable inchiladas. But since I took a bite, they wouldn't exchange them. How can I possibly know that they weren't shrimp unless I took a bite! I've never had to make a bad review on anything but this is the dumbest thing that's ever happened to me. To top it off, my first receipt said vegetable quesadillas and I had them correct it and they still messed it up!

It was was nice i like the food too but my only problem is i weigh avout 350 pounds and when i went to sit i felt like the chair was gonna break this place is not inclusive to the larger weight class will not be dining inside again

NEVER MAKE A BAD FIRST IMPRESSION! The public keeps your business going! First and LAST time I will go here! Got a hamburger and was told the mayo and mustard were served on the side. Drove off and decided to check the bag b/c I was going to the park to eat. There was no mayo, mustard, or ketchup! I had to drive back thru and get the packets of them! Hamburger was so SOGGY by this time I had to toss the bun. I was too frustrated to even experience the burger! 🤬

We ate there today and it was horrible. We will never be back. First off the soda machine was really low on co2 and the drinks were flat and nasty. The waitress offered us can cokes. She brings out mini can cokes and gave each of us one. I asked for some cups of ice We never got them. The cokes were hot. I was still charged 2.99 for each drink and when I asked her while checking out she said she can't do anything about the price. Second we ordered bean and cheese nachos. It looked like someone put a spoon full of beans in the middle of a pile of chips and then threw some cheese on top. 50 percent of the chips had no cheese on them. When we got our food we had to ask for forks. The food was nasty my kids took a few bites of theirs and left the rest on their plates. It had a really weird taste to it almost like a canned Chilli taste. I took our left overs home just to feed to the dogs since our bill was 95.00 for four people. Ever since we ate the little bit that we did my daughter and i have felt nauseous. We will for sure never be back.

One waiter says yes to frozen drinks the other says no. The total was $100 when trying to speak to manager waited over ten minutes for one to never come around.

The rice was delicious but the refried beans were so salty they were inedible. We let several employees know but they did nothing to correct the problem. Sorry was all they attempted to do. Over $30 for food we couldn't eat. We will not be returning.

We just left Leones after paying about $30 for two inedible meals. The food was so salty to be dangerous. After informing and asking the manager and a server if they had tasted the food, both said they had not, and simply ignored us with a disingenuous 'sorry'. This is our final visit here.

The sunrise plate was not satisfactory breakfast; for 12.38 everything is small portion even the pancake is small. Just go to McDonald’s and get the big breakfast.

She never came back after our food was delivered to make sure everything was ok. Had to ask for additional plate to split our kids meal for our two little ones. Service killed the meal. Terrible attitude & not friendly. Seemed like she didn’t want to be there or we weren’t wanted to be waited on. I used to order taco meals to go for our workers but I will be going elsewhere from now on. Very disappointed. Food was good and they had good music on as well. Our booth seat was broken so it was hard sitting really low to the table as well. Again, worst waitress we have ever had. Whatever was on your insta or tik tok was more important than the people you’re suppose to ensure all needs are met. Wife had to use her water to fill our kids drinks as well. I hope the owner works with his staff on attitude and service.
