There is nothing like a classic BEC done right, and this place nails it. The bacon was crispy and salty, the eggs were folded perfectly, and the cheese was that ideal level of melty American goodness.

So far best Latte I've had in Newark! The quality, texture, smell and taste i immediately recognized! And for the price and what you get...astonishing!. Beautiful environment 👌 along with restaurant design and atmosphere to the friendly staff and all around great vibe..this place is great if your looking for a cup of coffee or Latte or your next meal! Or a desert to grab. I Definitely will be back to have food and another Latte 😋 😌 I also liked that even when i was done i was able to just relax for a bit before starting my morning routine. 🌄 Can't wait to revisit !

Sihana Cafe is a place meant to be enjoyed without rushing. The combination of a café, bookstore, and art gallery creates a warm, creative atmosphere that invites you to stay longer than planned. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, with clear attention to detail. The coffee is excellent—smooth, well-balanced, and perfectly prepared. It’s an ideal spot for brunch, working quietly, reading, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment. The space feels comfortable, inspiring, and full of personality. Definitely a place I would return to and highly recommend if you’re looking for more than just a quick coffee stop.

Came across Sihana café quite randomly, and what a gem! Beautiful café, lovely service, and a great ambience with a very unique decor. Food was delicious. The owner, David, was very friendly. And his doggo was the highlight of our visit. Definitely recommend this spot. Can't wait to check out some authentic Georgian cuisine at their sister restaurant Sihana Bistro.

Stumbled on this café and it did NOT disappoint. Amazing food and coffee, café vibes were cute with a great playlist AND the owner has the cutest dog, or should I say café manager!!

I went to a cafe near Newark Penn Station. The best thing is it’s very close to the station. I had a cappuccino and a breakfast bagel both were good. There’s plenty of seating and lots of books to read.

This coffee shop is just a stone’s throw away from Newark Penn Station, offers the best coffee in town. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by outstanding service. The staff is incredibly fast and friendly, always ready to greet you with a smile and make sure you have a great experience.

The focaccia bread with prosciutto was incredibly fresh and delicious — perfectly crispy, aromatic, with a great balance of textures and flavors. The shakshuka was outstanding: eggs cooked just right, the sauce rich and flavorful with a subtle kick — everything was perfectly balanced. The interior is cozy and inviting, with a calm and quiet atmosphere — a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This is a great spot to walk to after a visit to the Newark art museum. The interior is nicely done with spacious wood block like tables and looking out on the street. Menu is not extensive but then again it’s not a diner. I ordered the salmon bowl which was delicious and everything was fresh. The cost was reasonable all things considered. I also ordered the cafe au lait which was also good but they had no sweetener, only sugar. The service was fine albeit our server seemed a little gruff (no smile, no greeting) but that doesn’t bother me as much as it may for others. I’m figuring maybe he was a having a tough day (?) . Even though it’s a place featuring Georgian food, there was really only one dish. I thought they had appetizers of Georgian origin but there wasn’t an option to order any. Maybe next time!

This place is absolutely amazing! Being so close to the airport was a definite plus for convenience. The environment was great – a really pleasant atmosphere. Ordering was a breeze; you simply follow the clear instructions right at your table, which made the whole process very simple. The drinks were delicious and refreshing. But the real star of the show was the food. It was absolutely delicious, so much so that it made me immediately want to look up a recipe to try and replicate the dish at home! Highly recommend this place.

While looking for a good brunch spot near Newark Penn Station, I stumbled upon this gem. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code and sending your order directly to the kitchen, giving the place a semi self-service vibe. I had the bacon and mushroom omelette, while my partner went for the veggie omelette. I absolutely loved the atmosphere here—the decor features lots of books, creating a cozy and laid-back vibe. Dining here felt like losing track of time in the best way. I’d definitely love to come back next time I’m in the area!

We loved everything about Sihana. It was cozy and welcoming, the lattes were spectacular and the food was great. My daughter didn't like her bagel (it was heavy on either garlic or onion powder) which is the only reason I didn't give the food 5 stars.

Very nice and quiet place with an outstanding menu and service. The food is awesome and delicious. It has coffee and sweet stations, a bar station, and a big dinner room for many customers. After a few weeks, I came again with my wife and had lunch together. I chose prosciutto and rucola flatbread, which is a delicious rectangular pizza. I recommend it.

Overall very trendy vibe and nice coffee - we ordered breakfast and whilst it was great tasting it left a little to be desired: I got the avocado toast however the poached eggs were way too hard and not runny at all My cousin got the shashouka and the tomato sauce was cold, not even lukewarm.

Sihana Cafe feels like a warm hug from an old friend. The staff is super friendly, and every corner is full of stories — old books, a retro typewriter, vintage radios… you can easily spend an afternoon here getting lost in the details. I ordered a latte and the chorizo omelette. The latte was smooth but the milk foam didn’t quite blend in perfectly, and the art could be stronger. The chorizo in the omelette was really tasty and the potatoes were crispy and flavorful. But for me, there was too much cheese on top — almost like eating a pizza! Great at first bite, but gets a bit heavy towards the end. Still, if you love quirky spaces and brunch plates that feel homemade, it’s worth a stop.

A very very quaint spot with a very calm and Aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. In addition the food is actually good! I often find that cafe’s are very hot or miss but the pancakes were delicious, fluffy, and a fairly large portion for the price. The matcha latte was also sensational! The side serving of eggs were a little small but for the price it makes sense. Overall a good breakfast spot with a seamless process (you can sit at a table, scan the barcode, order AND pay all at once. I’ll be back here in the following months.

Was looking for cafes offering food and coffee while visiting Newark and found this place. Parking can be a challenge but once that is taken care of you get to enjoy this lovely cafe. Ideal for a smaller group but they do have one big table that can seat 6-8 guests. I love that it looks homey with all the plant decor and warm tones. Ordering is also convenient - using your phone they have a QR code to scan where you order and pay online. We tried their matcha latte and regular latte and both were good. Matcha isnt sweetened though just fyi. The latte was nicely done and both drinks had such cute latte arts. Always a bonus! For food, hubster got the smoked salmon and the egg was done perfectly. For me I got the bacon mushroom omelette. It was almost “well-done” and although still good, i think i prefer it a little fluffier. It came with a side of potatoes, salad and toast. Overall we loved the place. It was warm and cozy and if you prefer a more “quieter” spot, they actually have more space if you pass by the counter and there are many books to choose from on that side. Oh and I love the gender neutral restrooms as well. This cafe is quite well thought of!

I had an unpleasant customer service here because of the lack of communication by the staff. I called earlier today to order brunch, and thankfully everything went smoothly. I was kindly told that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived late due to traffic, which I understood and apologized for. A staff member told me that I arrived late and that I had to wait an additional 15 minutes because they don’t serve cold food. This policy was never mentioned to me at any minute during the call. They also said they don’t usually take phone orders, which was confusing because no one mentioned that when I placed mine. There was also a very annoyed look on 2 of the staffs, no smiles and very dismissive towards me. Except for the shorter dark haired girl she was very kind and positive. Overall the food was really good, my mom was very happy with this as her Valentine’s Day gift and the quality was amazing, we will definitely be going back. I was mainly disappointed by the lack of clear communication and unfortunately after the extra time, my food still got cold by the time I got home.

Local coffee shop with hipster vibes, in Newark, NJ. Customer service was fine, food is average yet overpriced. Good coffee that is also way overpriced. Pretentious and not entirely welcoming or friendly to newcomers. It's no place special IMHO, and isn't worth the money. Although it beats a Starbucks experience. Note It's the only coffeehouse in the neighborhood besides the local bakeries. My biggest turn off about this place are their prices. Frankly I can have a better experience at home, cooking or making a good cup of coffee, at a fraction of the cost. It's not worth the splurge or repeat business. I didn't like their music playlist either. Boring.
