Panda Express Princeton Reviews
You get good service at this location. They do get busy especially with the lunch rush but they do their best to service everyone in a timely manner.
We've never had an issue with any of our orders here, it's a good location
The food was great for fast-food Chinese. It was my first time and I will definitely visit again!
Update: I’ve frequented this location a few times now after my first review a couple years ago, and it’s massively improved. There are new faces that seem to care and I’ve not had an issue since trying it again. Always get greeted, served decent portions, don’t have as much of a wait anymore. Also I’ve not had to go back in for a fork or chopsticks anymore. They always put the side items in the bag now, happy to take the time to update my review on this. Thank you guys for putting a bit more effort into your team and prioritizing freshness again. Old review Okay first off I never write reviews, this is the first review I have ever written on a restaurant. I usually just take whatever and leave no issues caused. But finally I’ve reached the point with this place something needs to be done. You are always out of everything, constantly waiting for food “it will be 10 minutes.” I work in food service and if you see something running low you better start making more BEFORE you run out. The portioning is so awful I have to always order double meat just to get enough while 3/4 of the container is bottom of the bowl stale chow mein (again make more BEFORE you run out.) and when I get cream cheese rangoons you always squish them into the bag just crushing all the filling all over the bag. Honestly I don’t understand why they can never remember sides. Why after waiting ten minutes for my food do I then have to drive back up to the front to ask for a fork or chopsticks, my sweet and sour that comes WITH the cream cheese rangoons every time every order it’s company standard. And a damn napkin. Please cook food so it’s fresh and ready. Please don’t hand people a box of food with nothing to eat it with but their hands. Please get yourselves together and stop hiring kids who don’t care about anything.
Ok so.. No brown rice & no vegetables Then the young lady at the drive-thru was , indignant about it. It's 12 noon , and was told it would be 7 to 10 minutes for vegetables. So for $8.00 , I got some chicken thrown on top of white rice. I'm not sure how vegetables are not ready to go, when your lunch rush is starting? Then she handed me my bag and said enjoy, with a tone that says, this lady is not going to enjoy..lol I should have just pulled out , but eh.. it is what it is.. It's all rice as well!
Its alright. Nothing special. The bowls only give a little bit of the actual side and mostly rice (or whatever you choose; i.e. noodles, rice) I did get full, but only on rice alone it seemed. Probably won't come back. Go to mckinney and order from China Sun. You won't be disappointed there.
I was dining there and there was a kid who was rude and being loud. Also, it seemed like he also had issues with his manager/supervisor since she had to take over finishing my order for reasons unbeknownst to me. I don't know if he was being trained but I had worked in the restaurant industry many years. This had made me a bit uncomfortable especially when people are coveting jobs in 2025 and the attitude he demonstrated towards her did not seem to reflect he had any desire to learn.
October 25, 2024 - ⭐⭐ 2 Stars My wife and I visited Panda Express 🐼. She got double Orange Chicken 🍊🐔 with lo mein 🍜, and I went with half lo mein 🍜, half fried rice 🍚, plus the new Blazing Bourbon Chicken 🔥🐔 and Black Pepper Sirloin Steak 🥩. My wife and I thought the bourbon chicken would be 4x hotter 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ than Orange Chicken, so we wanted to try a sample. But the staff refused us 😒, which was frustrating. Considering we couldn’t get a sample, my wife decided not to risk it, and honestly, I should’ve skipped it too 🥴. The bourbon chicken was way too spicy 🔥 and bitter 🥵—definitely not worth it. The service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed spaced out 💤, not very friendly, and no one was smiling 😐. Only one person was helping guests inside while 5-6 others were focused on cooking and drive-thru orders 🚗, which slowed everything down 🐢. The lot this location sits on is tiny 🏠. The drive-thru line easily wraps around the building 🚗➡️🏢 and can trap you in the parking spots 🚫🅿️, making it really frustrating to leave. On top of that, it shares a single exit with Dutch Bros Coffee ☕️, making it chaotic and hard to navigate 😤. Princeton seems to have a trend with these cramped fast food spots 🗺️, which doesn’t help the experience. Overall, this visit was disappointing 😕. Between the lack of samples, the slow service, and the cramped lot, it just wasn’t what we were hoping for.
I have never got an order here that was correct! You pay extra for a premium bowl and get mediocre at best. It is frustrating to spend money on food and not get what you pay for because they don’t put it in the bag, then when you call be told “we don’t do refunds over the phone” you can easily refund the card I paid with .why should I be inconvenienced for their mistake. With the high prices of all fast food these days you expect to get what you paid for. It’s a shame
AMY G - was helping me and while i was waiting for my food to be cooked she was PLAYING in the CHOW MEIN!! meaning and was flipping it and talking with her coworkers and her hands / knuckles was touching the CHOW mein. GROSS GROSS GROSS . She dropped a piece of meat on the counter and put it back into someone’s plate when it was time to fix my plate she gave me all veggies and 4 PIECES OF MEAT!!! I paid ectra for my meat bc it’s premium! She was preparing someone’s food in drive thru and kept taking off pieces. She’s Just Ridiculous over all. Not only are you touching the meat but you’re being skimpy when i paying the price. Give me what’s owed. She doesn’t need to be working front line. DO BETTER
Did not like being barked at by Malia’s, then they told me the chicken needs 5 mins so I went inside and the chicken was already done and on the line so they made us wait for nothing and in the heat with the truck running. They did nothing to help us with their menu and they made us feel like we did not know what we were talking about. Next time please be nice to your customers we don’t work there and we are not as familiar with your food.
That grilled teriYUCKi chicken was the worst thing I have ever tried. Chicken is probably the worst they could source, rubbery also and weird smell. WOW! That was absolutely terrible (the one bite I had). PLEASE REMOVE THIS FROM THE MENU.
On two different occasions we have tried to get food soon after the store opens and both times they have hardly had anything ready. They are telling people in the drive thru and waiting that they just opened. This is something needing to be addressed by management. When a fast food place opens that means you are ready to serve everything on the menu. If food isn’t going to be ready until 10:30 open at 10:30. Have your employees get there earlier and start cooking sooner. We left and will not be returning.
Ordered online to make sure it was right gave them ample time to get it done get there and all was already bagged i grabbed it drove down to the walmart gas station and open my plate to have one ontree missing ordered beijing beef and black angus and didnt get my entree not the first time its happened at this location very disappointed gave it multiple chances and they have always failed every time avoid location not worth the hassle or headache
I don't know why I keep ordering out here. I always expect the mistakes will be corrected but again another kick in the groin. I've sent complaints to corporate but nothing changes. I'm not looking for free food but this one thing to be corrected. Every time I order bowls, this place puts a layer of the entree on top with a ton of side. Everyone expects a good portion of the entree not a side. If this is a change Panda has made then this needs to be said to customers.
As I pulled in I saw one of the workers pick up the tongs grab some meat from one of the bowls and took it off with her hand and walked off eating. I went inside and I ordered 2 of the 2 plate entree plates. Most of the food look like it had been sitting and there was little to no fried rice. I asked if they were making any fresh food and she was like no this is it. I asked if they had any more fried rice because and she hesitated and stated that it was some in the back. I told her I would like fried rice so she snatched the plates up with an attitude went to back and put the rice on the plates. She came back and asked what entree would I like and I said orange chicken and the sesame honey chicken for both plates. She fixed the first plate and as she began to fix the 2nd plate the lady working drive through came and started making plates. She asked me again what I wanted for the 2nd plate after I had told her I wanted the same for both plates. So I told her again and she put the orange chicken on the plate and asked me again for the other entree and I told her a 3rd time. What she was doing was allowing the drive thru worker to take all of the 2nd entree I requested. The drive thru worker came and fixed 3 bowls of the honey sesame chicken after I had requested 3 times and she act like she didn’t hear me. Then she told me it was first come first serve. If that was the case how was my first plate fixed with the honey sesame chicken before the lady from drive came over. This place is ridiculous and don’t deserve any stars. I asked were was the manager and of course it was the young girl working drive thru. I won’t be going back. As you can see in the pictures I have one plate with honey sesame chicken and one without.
