Rommas Pizza Prolongación Muñoz Reviews
Good place to get nyc pizza. Used to go a lot here during college years.
Everyone here is always so pleasant! Always have excellent service when I come. Pizza is top tier!
I've never had a bad slice of pizza here! Staff is always willing to give reco's too, they have a ton of choices. My favorite is the slice with three sauces - tomato, vodka, pesto.
The margarita pizza is delicious! However, the chicken wings tasted like Tyson’s frozen breaded wings from the freezer but that’s not what I went there for.
I have been to the Roma Pizza/pasta on 24 Dr and 2 ave manhattan many times. I have ordered several pasta dishes over these past few months. I found them to be delicious and very large portions. Many of them, like the lasagna and baked ziti dishes, are enough for two meals. The prices are reasonable The many variations of pizza are all very tasty, especially the deep dish recipes. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always smiling, especially Joseph and Alex. They do accommodate variations in the pasta dishes if requested
Got out of the New York Comedy Club and was hungry. Went in on a lark, and it was some of the best pizza I've had while visiting NYC. Large floppy thin crust pizza emblematic of NYC, as well as Roman style pizza. Had their spinach artichoke Roman pizza and a classic Margherita slice. The spinach pizza was creamy and flavorful, with the perfect amount of bread beneath the topping. The Margherita pizza had excellent sauce with a bright freshness to it, and the basil really was able to sing on the simple slice. The wife had a thick crust cheese steak slice, and we shared a piece of Tiramisu cake. Everything was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly, and we talked about Egypt with one of the guys there. He talked about adding hawawshi to the menu, a meat stuffed pita from Egypt. I'm visiting, but for NYC's sake, I hope he does! Would definitely recommend!
The regular cheese pizzas were nice, and a lot of other options were available. Prices are super reasonable and everyone can find something that they like: pizzas, wraps, burgers, salads and even soups. There are also some cake slices and three full shelves of drinks! Nice place overall.
Roma Pizza, located on the corner of 24th Street & 2nd Ave in NYC, is fantastic. They offer an amazing assortment of pizzas. Slices are big, cheesy, crisp, and full of flavor. The team of workers are friendly and remember us warmly whenever we stop in. The beverage selection is also top-notch.
I was trying to search for good pizza. At best, the slices are large, the sauce is flavorful, and even the outside of crust is crispy. It just doesn't taste very good. I came in because I was so hungry and I hadn't eaten all day. I chose a slice of margherita pizza and a margherita with mushrooms. The mushrooms are canned and have that gel feeling you get from canned sliced mushrooms. The inside of the dough feels slightly undercooked. The sauce is not consistent and falls off in globs. The cheese is really the biggest problem. It seems to melt nicely, it's greasy (which usually happens with cheap cheese), but the mouth feel is a bit gummy. The cheese also has a strange flavor - it's not quite mozzarella... it tastes more like a mix. It tastes like pre-shredded cheese, which I'd normally expect to be dry, but whatever the mix is, the flavor is a bit off-putting. I should have just purchased one slice instead of two. I don't like to waste food, but the meal was a bit unpleasant to eat. Definitely would not come back.
Mediocre pizza, made using basic and substandard ingredients. Everything is heavy and extremely salty. Plenty of better choices around.
cashier just did the same thing many reviews say and upcharged my slices. i even asked the other cook before i ordered how much it was and he said 4.95 but the guy charged 5.75, causing an argument between the cashier and cook when i questioned him. would not change his mistake and was rude saying he was right to me. saw the reviews that he did this but still had faith in humanity.
