Cafetería Origen A&C Puebla Reviews
The service is fast, delicious, and always the same flavor. My wife and I have been having breakfast at Café Origen during work hours for many years because it's reliable in terms of quality, flavor, and service time. The pancakes, enfrijoladas, chilaquiles, sweet bread, and omelets—everything is delicious. The coffee is quite good.
Delicious coffee, and breakfast is always a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.
Excellent place, great service, delicious food and coffee, pleasant atmosphere, you feel right at home! You'll always come back for a delicious breakfast, and the price is great!
I love it. It's a very warm place, and the service is equally as quality. I'm becoming addicted to this place. The coffee is truly delicious, everything about it: the body, the aroma, the lingering flavor, and the thematic touch of the dishes. I love this place, I highly recommend it.
Delicious food and a great place to enjoy a good cup of coffee. Highly recommended.
Excellent place for breakfast! My favorites are the crepes with tomato pesto and the chilaquiles in cream sauce. Highly recommended! The coffee is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the service is great.
The food is truly exquisite, the place is very clean, beautiful, and peaceful. I love the coffee; it's delicious, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended! 🤩
I went a few days ago when I had about 30 minutes before a meeting. They gave me the menu pretty quickly, were very friendly, and the place was quite busy. There was a moment when I got anxious because I thought they wouldn't serve me as fast with so many people ordering, but to my pleasant surprise, my biscuits arrived on time, piping hot and filling. I thought the price of the biscuits was reasonable for how good they tasted, although I can't agree that an Americano should cost more than $25-$30.
They're always very attentive, and the food tastes great. Fresh and with a unique touch. You can tell when there's a good chef in charge of the menu 👍. I love it!!
The place itself is part of a house, with a very homey atmosphere, giving it a comfortable and peaceful feel. During this pandemic, they are taking care and following community health guidelines. As for the menu and service... My average rating is due to the positive ambiance. It leaves something to be desired. For example, while the coffee is tasty, it's served lukewarm to cold. The presentation of the dishes is nice, but more than a couple of the ones I tried lacked seasoning. And the machaca with egg is what they use for burritos that aren't actually machaca with egg, but they claim that's what it says on the menu (it doesn't), and that they're only machaca with cheese (they didn't have any cheese). So, the service is quite poor. As for the price, it's reasonable, although there are other places nearby that cost about the same and are less problematic. What is certain is that they are in a very strategic location and attract attention with their 'homey' style; we've wanted to take the time to go in for a long time, it's a shame that in practice they don't live up to the image they project.
We weren't familiar with the place. We walked in. Breakfast time. Service was too slow. The coffee was average but cold. You have to ask for it to be reheated. The price doesn't match the service. $110 for the breakfast package. The furniture is old and battered. It needs maintenance.
Terrible service, long wait times, and the food leaves much to be desired. Better options in the area.
I ordered chilaquiles with Morita chiles, and they were spicy, which was good. The waitress had warned me about the chili. What I didn't agree with was the addition of a few shredded chicken pieces and red onion. Seriously, they're chilaquiles, and they even bring you tortillas that have been toasted in a pan and weren't fresh—you could see it in the crumb and the flavor. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. What a shame. I'm just saying, check your product; we didn't order it for free. By the way, the chilaquiles are 98 pesos just, and if you want them with juice, or whatever else, it's 155 pesos. There you have it, a good deal.
The service is incredibly slow. Everything is bland. But there's more... the staff are incredibly rude. They're despotic, ill-tempered, and act like they're doing you a favor. And if you're a new customer, they make things even worse with their attitude... and they're the owners! Absolutely awful.
We just left, and the young woman who served us was glued to her phone and gave us a dirty look the few times she came to our table. Her service was terrible. We won't be back, not even by mistake.
Horrible, it's really expensive for what they offer. I don't mind paying for something delicious and quality, but here I only paid almost $150 pesos for a bland croissant, with cold cheese (they literally took it out of the packaging and put it in) and stale bread. The lemonade was just so-so. Not to mention the service. I really don't recommend it. They even spend less at Starbucks and it tastes better.
The food is good, but the service is very slow. If there are more than five people, not everyone eats breakfast at the same time because they bring the breakfasts about ten minutes apart. If you end up eating breakfast in the garage, you'll have to smoke the ten cigarettes the singer is smoking.
