The cakes are very tasty, but the truth is that the service is very grudging.
The place looks dirty, the atmosphere is ugly, and the service is generally poor. It seems like the man is doing you a favor. I was going to eat there, but when I asked for some sandwiches, his response was very rude. Given that service, I decided not to eat there, and the place looks dirty.
Obviously he learned from the one who took him in when he was a nobody, Miguel or May who kept all the credits since he was on the corner of 3rd West and 15th South... there's a reason they call him the scumbag, he earned it by hard work and SSA knew but since the man gave credit they did nothing!!! That was about 20 years ago, if Miguel reads this he'll know who's writing!!! Greetings 😜😜😜
Terrible service, just like the reviews say. It's like they're doing you a favor. The $30 milanesa torta only has three slices of avocado, a tiny piece of milanesa (literally the size of the torta), mayonnaise, and avocado. Where's the tomato, cheese, etc.? Awful. Don't waste your money.
It seems like they pay you to serve you; the mere act of ordering bothers them, and if they do respond, it's because you have to push to get their attention, and it's always in a rude manner.
