Perfect on Wednesday
One of my favorite places that opens once a week giving it that scarcity that most places don’t have. Check it out on Wednesday nights
Wednesday night means Congo Bar night!!
Best party ever in puerto Escondido on Wednesday 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 live music and a lot of reggaeton 🔝🔝🔝🔝
Very strange but nice place, I mean it’s all on the stairs. You keep going up and up and up
Really cool place with live music on Wednesdays with salsa party! Then the same night they have Reggaeton during midnight hours and more! I really recommend going to this place with footwear and on Wednesdays! If you don't know where to party and dance on Wednesdays, then this is the spot for you, and your friends!!!!!
Great bar for a getting it absolutely down on the dance floor!
Nice party on Wednesday
Great salsa bar but the guys bother alot in inappropiacte ways
Nice place with the terrace, but if you love salsa don’t come to their Sunday “noche de salsa” (salsa night) … I was here two whole hours they only played 2-3 salsa, the rest is cumbia cumbia cumbia… also no good level dancers here… if you just come to chat with friends and dance cumbia this is the place, but definitely no salsa….Maybe Wednesday is better based on other reviews
Food was great and served by a lovely waitress. Too bad we had to wait 2 hours for the food. I guess something went wrong with our order.
They enter way too much people than the club can handle. We went out directly after seeing how crowded it was, they still took entrance for one minute inside
Rude staff, they attack you when you enter. An overrated place.
My phone was stolen while here. I have more to say but am happy to change to 5 stars if it is returned to me please
Absolutely unacceptable staff behaviour! They didn't let me because they were insulted... Let me explain. I wanted to go in with friends. I had a big tote bag, my (male) friend a tiny backpack. They wanted to let me in but my friend not. So I tried to prove a point bu putting the tiny backpack in my bag. That apparently offended them so much that after they didn't want to let me in even just with my tote bag (which apparently was acceptable before!!). My friend with backpack had already left. Another friend had already paid and they didn't give her back the money either. Out of principle, I would never set a foot in this place again. I was trying to prove a point, and the staff knew I was in the right.
We went here after reading it was the place to go for salsa on Wednesday nights. Arrived at 11pm to a huuuuge line down the street that took over an hour. $150 pesos entry. By the time we got inside at 12am the salsa band had stopped and the music was trash mainstream. The jam packed crowd were chewing their faces off and yelling more than they were dancing. People seemed to be enjoying themselves but definitely not for us / not the salsa, Cumbia or Mexican nightlife experience we had expected when reading about it. Not much space to actually dance other than at the entrance area. Really gritty, and stinky because they really jam you in there. Maybe it’s different earlier in the night…
Great for those who enjoy listening to over 130bpm salsa music. Not good for salsa dancing considering there is no dance “floor”. Can try to dance on the uneven adoquined concrete or the rustic wood, best to dance at the tile space as you enter, before the crowd arrives at 11p. The band was ok. The singer didn’t know the lyrics of a popular old Marc Anthony song so had to read off of her phone. They played a combination of good salsa and cumbia.
They no longer have salsa all night, only until 12.
One of the most horrible places I've ever seen..
