Los Alebrijos Puerto Escondido Reviews
This is my go-to place for breakfast/ brunch/ lunch. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes, they’re absolutely delicious. And the highlight is the host, Lety and the chilled atmosphere of the place.
Leti and Carmen took care of me. Food was tasty, and they were so kind.
The food here is fantastic and affordable and the server/owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. Huevos con chorizo and las crepas can't be missed. Went here twice in our four days in town. Definitely recommended.
This was the best breakfast that we had in Puerto Escondido, we wish we had found it sooner! The crepes were so delicious that we ordered some to go. The staff working there were singing beautifully in the kitchen. 10/10 a real hidden gem!
I’m not sure if I like the food more than the owner of this cafe, but this place is awesome. I rate the beverage higher than the food (but the food is still good). There is a chess table outside which you can easily spend 1/2hour on. The owner of the cafe is a gentle soul. You’ll enjoy his service. Message to the owner, can you add huevos divorciados to the menu?
Very nice coffee and very nice staff. The food was delicious, homestyle cooking. Very fair prices. The food takes a little time to arrive but they were busy when we we visited. Either way, it is worth the wait. Be advised, this resturant is cash only!!
It was fine, but they totally ignored us after the order, the menu doesn't list the full ingredients, the chapata had a spicy seasoning. The frijoles weren't really good either.
6.5 out of 10 Nice place close to playa coral and playa bacocho. Good value for money. We ordered a crepe with cheese, spinach and mushrooms and a mixed salad with cheese. Homemade food, service was quick and food was ok, the crepe positively surprised me but the salad could be improved easily. Considering the options nearby I would recommend the place.
I will have to say that after reading the reviews of how friendly the owner was and what I just experienced was totally different. I speak Spanish pretty well so I asked if they had coffee and espresso or only pot coffee since that was all I saw the male owner walking around with and didn’t visibly see or hear an espresso machine. Owner looked confused and irritated. Then asked a patron what I said (I said it in Spanish) and the patrón repeated what I said and owner responded annoyed with agitated face. He obviously didn’t want me there. I can only assume it was because I wasn’t a white tourist or Mexican! He was hella rude.
