B Lounge Puerto Vallarta Reviews
Wow, this restaurant is great. It’s sort of modern Japanese. It’s got an air conditioned front area and a beautiful terrace in the back. Fantastic cocktails full bar and the food is just simply amazing. I had the sashimi Bento box with the house martini and I had them add some salmon to it and topped it off with a crème brûlée and an espresso martini. I ate on the terrace, which was nice and breezy. Thanks to the fans. The staff are super attentive . I really had a nice time here.
Très bon restaurant. Nous avons essayé plusieurs choses sur le menu et tout était délicieux (sushis, ailes de poulet, crevettes pop corn, tostada au thon) Les cocktails sont également très bons. À essayer si vous êtes de passage à PV.
This place is awesome! Food, service, location. I fear that they will have trouble attracting restaurant seekers because it’s called a ‘lounge’. Walking by it’s hard to tell it’s a full service restaurant. I hope they work on their name and branding to stay in business.
An incredible finding ! Delicious food at the level of any good Japanese you normally find only in big capitals. Will definitely come back
Love the back outdoor patio with all the greenery. The food is excellent. Staff is very friendly. Must try!
Not just a great Puerto Vallarta restaurant; a great restaurant period. Very careful attention to detail across every single part of the experience: food, presentation, service, ambience, dishes and utensils, music and space. Creative menu and beverage choices. An oasis under a canopy in the midst of the Zona. Minimalist without being precious. Very clearly *designed* with a harmonious intent fully actualized. Strong recommend.
What a treat to find delicious and beautifully prepared bento box lunches in a beautiful, plant-filled atrium in the heart of Zona Romantica! The hamachi sashimi was fantastic, as was the tempura and miso soup. We wanted to try more afterward and ordered the rainbow roll, which was excellent. Everything is extremely fresh and flavorful--highly recommend!
We have been in PV since Sunday and this place is hands down the best place we have eaten. Service in PV is great everywhere. The food, service, ambiance, cleanliness....I can't say enough. Amazing place. The mushroom dumplings....wow,.so great!
Dinner last evening at B Lounge was a revelation. Each dish we ordered was superb. The atmosphere in the back garden was delightful. Highly recommend.
This place has only been open for 9 months. It serves delicious Asian fusion food in a beautiful outdoor patio. The scallop small plate in lemon cream sauce was amazing.
Me and my girlfriend luckily stumbled across this gem when we were looking for a nice place to eat. We had multiple cocktails (they were amazing) and shared plates (they were also amazing). Our server, Exton, was very professional and had a cool a vibe that added to our experience. Thank you Exton, thank you wondeful barman, and thank you wonderful kitchen staff!
This place is amazing. Food was outstanding. Drinks were creative and fantastic. Gia is an incredible manager and very knowledgeable about drinks, tequila/mezcal/raicilla, and sake; staff are attentive and helpful. A must-visit while in PV! And, check out their other spots, too (Benito Kitchen and Casita & Garden).
Absolutely loved everything about this new spot! Amazing food and service and the cutest little patio! I had the tuna tostada and scallops!! Highly recommend! I can’t wait to go back!!
First sushi I've had in PV that is actually worth it! Staff is great and drinks are solid. Not cheap for Mexico, but worth it!
Fantastic food. Lovely drink choices. Great courtyard ambiance. Different menu than the original Bonito but just as delicious.
I only came to drink a glass of wine. Very good Sauvignon Blanc. After reading some reviews and looking at the menu I think I'll be back.
Excellent drinks, food and atmosphere- location is easy to find and convenient
We had a fantastic meal last night! The Kamachi sashimi was fantastic, super fresh. The service, setting and cocktails also fantastic!
Bonito lounge is a must try in PV! The Mussels they have are truly some of the best I’ve had in PV. Everything is reasonably priced and their menu is dynamic.
A piece of New York City in Puerto Vallarta. The food, ambience, service and drinks were out standing. Highly recommend everyone come by. We will definitely be back tomorrow!
Great atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic drinks. Attentive and friendly staff as well. Its like an asian-mexican style? But theres plenty of option for everyone.
We had dinner here last night. Very creative and interesting menu, food, and service were superb.
Everything about this restaurant is outstanding…you need to see for yourself .. go now before busy season you will not be disappointed 🥰
Wonderful experience!
The food was wonderful, very flavorful and reasonably priced. Both the inside of the restaurant and their covered, outside dining area lovely and have a relaxing vibe. The service was perfect, attentive but not overbearing. We will be back, and as my friend from home who is visiting said...... Is tomorrow too soon.
The sushi was very tasty, and the fried rice was great too. We also had the oysters—they were fresh, delicious, and already dressed perfectly. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. After our meal, the waitress even took a Polaroid photo of us outside when we asked—such a fun touch. Overall, a great experience!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bonito during restaurant week, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Bonito always knows how to pick the ideal spots to set up their venues, and this one is no exception. I tried them all :) The menu was a creative delight, I opted for the ursin pasta, and I must say, it was absolutely to die for. The staff also deserves a special mention. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience filled with creative dishes and a lovely ambiance, I highly recommend checking it out during restaurant week or any time!
Literally the best menu and restaurant in PV. Make it the first place you have a meal at and you will be planning how many more times you can go before leaving. It is that perfect. We had lunch in the garden patio. Perfect setting, perfect service and the best food. We had the tuna tostada, shrimp tempura tacos and short rib slider, with coconut cheesecake for dessert. The cold beer and the lemon chello spritz were great. We already planned our next visit and will be trying the sushi and ramen. FYI, did not try the bento box but saw one. It was large and looked amazing.
We had just come out of a show and were walking home, when we passed the Bonito Lounge and heard a lovely voice playing guitar and singing. We decided to stop in for cocktails and snacks, and we were so impressed that we’ll be coming back for dinner very soon. Each of our cocktails (Negrilla, Little Bird and Rose Cucumber Gin) was absolutely magnificent, with complex flavors and exquisite presentation. We shared the truffle fries and the Japanese cheesecake, both of which were wonderful as well. The singer’s name is Stolie, and she is well worth seeing wherever she is playing.
A lovely dining experience in the heart of Zona Romantica. We ordered from bento box menu which featured 4 different options and each came with miso soup, cucumber salad, and asparagus tempura. The dishes were delicious & nicely presented. We appreciated the attentive service & were tempted by the many menu choices. We will need to return to try more dishes and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the luscious green courtyard space.
If you like an unusual experience, featuring small plates, nice atmosphere and exceptional service, this is the place to go. The food was excellent. They cater to you and you will have a great time. I love the fact that they have vegan options (he BAO) but also had fried pickles that I will be dreaming about. I appreciate the team and hope that the owner knows they are great. We were there Nov 1and a big rain. I HAD to cross the road that was a river to have a great dinner with family and friends. Great choice for some unique food.
One of the best cocktails I've had in PV. I had the Stud Muffin - name doesn't do this cocktail justice. It's a delicious smoky charcoal mezcal 'elevated' margarita. I think it should be called: Bruhaha or the crow. I'll be back to try the food, and highly recommend if you enjoy good vibe, nice deco, well crafted cocktails. Oh they have sake, for those sake people out there.
If you sit in the outdoor space, you’re going to get a nice romantic vibe, but also a very laid back space. The lighting in the evening is gorgeous. We had tasty cocktails (Little Bird pictured here), but my favorite was actually the Dona Piña margarita. Super delicious with the fresh pineapple muddled into it. For food we tried the shishito peppers, tuna tostada (sooo good!), short rib slider, shrimp tempura and the chicken wings. My husband really enjoyed the chicken wings with their homemade teriyaki, they were super tender and flavorful. All the food we had was freshly prepared. At the end we had a cheesecake that had coconut and passion fruit and omg - I want more! Gia, who warmly welcomed us, alongside another server, provided exceptional service the whole night. She and her team, you can really tell, they care about presentation and details. They want to get it right and take a lot of pride in doing so. We appreciate that a lot. Thank you all, until next time! ❤️
The lounge is absolutely the best spot! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is outstanding, and the service is truly top-notch. Gia and Luis took great care of us and made the experience even better. This was our second time visiting, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend :)
My wife and I stopped in for dinner and just had a few small plates, cucumber salad was amazing, I was scooping up the dressing with my spoon after I finished the salad, seared Tuna was outstanding as where the mussels. The Truffle fries where not overbearing, just perfect. The attention to detail from the kitchen staff and the care taken by our waitress was top notch.
Enough flavor to last you a lifetime here, excellent service and was lucky enough to be there for their live music hour. I had mostly sashimi and nigiri dishes which were excellent, they have a duck foie gras dumplings plate which was delicious. I got their smoky mezcal cocktail, lethally good, almost repeated! And the attention to detail by the staff was top notch! Great place overall.
Amazing, most delicious food since we’ve been in PV. Dumplings were so tasty. Also had the Shrimp & Asparagus tempuras that was so good. Teriyaki wings were crispy on the outside and moist inside (omg delicious). We finished with the Salmon Rolls, yummy. Great atmosphere, comfortable seating. A must go if you’re in PV. Sometimes they have live entertaiment.
The hours need to be updated because i don’t want anyone to miss out on this gem. If you love sushi, this place will not disappoint. Very friendly and attentive servers. The sushi making speed isn’t the fastest but everything else came out promptly. Literally the best salmon sashimi of my life (and i’ve been to Nobu before) Presentation was fantastic, and the taste was even better. The atmosphere and ambience is incredible with all of the greenery, fresh flowers, and even their elevated water service, they have the music playing at a good volume and it’s affordable. Didn’t try there alcoholic beverages but they looked very impressive.
We decided to stop by here for lunch since we love the food at their other location. The food here is just as delicious as Bonito kitchen. We ordered the bluefin tuna bento box, oyster chowder, chocolate hamachi and uni (sea urchin) pasta which was incredible. They have an assortment of other menu items that sounds uniquely inventive. They also have an extensive drink menu, since we came for lunch, it was a bit early for us to be drinking, but the vibe and atmosphere is very nice. We’ll have to come back again one evening to try their cocktails.
Fantastic cocktails here at Bonito lounge. Really interesting flavors and very friendly staff. The food is also fantastic. Highly recommend the short rib katsu slider. Drinks wise, highly recommend the Negrilla, Stud Muffin, Vietnamese Espresso Martini and Quetzalli (all pictured). Half price drinks during happy hour from 3-5!!
We made a reservation and were seated right away. The drink menu has several interesting choices and I went with the Jamaica Jay margarita - highly recommend it. We ordered shareable food for the table and it came out in waves. Tasty, fresh food overall. I'm giving it 4 stars only because a cook said "adios gordos" as we were walking out thinking I didn't speak Spanish. He immediately turned around and nervously laughed once I made eye contact and he realized I understood what he said. I know that 'gordo' and other terms can be used in a friendly manner, but that's usually for people you already know and are comfortable with, not complete strangers. I want to note that the wait staff was very professional and friendly.
This waiter was incredibly rude! He saw me wave my hand at him and he blatantly ignored me. How rude!! The restaurant and other wait staff were excellent! Chunky boy with glasses and dark hair!!!Maybe my melanin was too dark for him?
Food was good, not great. The water glasses are teeny and if you drink a lot of water, you will constantly be asking for more water. I had the mushroom dumplings and black cod. The dumplings were ok…could have been pan fried longer to give more of a crunch. The stuffing flavor was OK, but mushy and needed more substance. The black cod tasted fishy and was a very small portion size. It came with asparagus, and to my surprise, the asparagus was raw. I had to send it back and asked for cooked asparagus. The serving staff needs more training on how to service a table. We had to ask for additional soy sauce three times. One person in our party had warm sake and when he ordered a second order, he had to also ask for it three times and finally gave up and said cancel the order. At that point, they brought the sake to us at no charge. We constantly were asking for water, and I finally got up and found the pitcher of water and went back to the table and poured water for everybody. When we got there, we were the only ones there. Three more tables filled after us and that’s when the service to our table started to fall apart. Until they are more seasoned, we will not be back.
It was a very cute place. The outside patio with all the plants looked very nice. It was just very hot which no one can control. The food was pretty good. Others in my party thought the food was excellent. Our waiters were nice. The kitchen was just insanely slow. We were the only ones in the restaurant for lunch and we waited an hour and a half for fried rice. Somehow the sushi rolls came out before anything. Because we waited so long, the heat caught up to us and we were all sweating by the end of the meal, even with the fans they brought us.
Avoid unless you want to pay top $ for average or mediocre dishes in super small portion sizes. I tried this place when it was a tacos place. It still showcases a super beautiful back patio seating area. It's cute for sure. Unfortunately the tacos got replaced by expensive wanna be Japanese fusion. All but 1 dish we tried were rather disappointing and or overpriced. 3tiny dumplings that looked and tasted like they were pulled out of the freezer. The dragon roll was squishy, the unangi not charbroiled enough and the rice not packed , tossed with teriyaki sauce it looked messy and didn't taste like a dragon roll. The oyster chowder was tasty, well done. Service was nice friendly but overall the place is to expensive for what you get.
Lugar muy bonito pero precios altos para platillos simples y sin mucho chiste
Beautiful interior with great ambience. Service was prompt and the servers were knowledgeable. We only had drinks so can’t speak to the food, however, when our bill arrived we were up charged for alcohol we did not order. They gave an excuse of miscommunication when people order higher end alcohol. I clarified that I didn’t. I was asked if I wanted gin or vodka in my martini and I said gin. Not Hendricks gin like they charged me for. Wouldn’t recommend and likely won’t go back. No apology just blamed on miscommunication which really wasn’t the case. They made it right by changing the bill accordingly but still. Crappy end to what would’ve been a good evening.
Been here many times, but sadly tonight is the last. The prior visit we were challenged for multiple extra items, and we failed to notice until we were splitting the charge with a friend here. She looked at the bill and saw over $1000 pesos of extras. They paid us cash, but not the tip on that extra charge. Not sure if it was intentional. Tonight I had 3 plates to send back. Chicken Katsu was dry...should've been in an Oberto bag. Shishito peppers were barely warmed or seasoned. My favorite, the scallops on shell, were very overdone. Sent them back. Beer I ordered came after my 3rd plate when I reminded the waiter. Ordered sliders that never came. After 30 minutes of wait the waiter cleared our table. I asked if the sliders are not coming he said oh yes, I thought you got those. So sad, because this place was a favorite
The portion sizes were unethically small for the price charged. The restaurant felt significantly overpriced without justification. I ordered three entrées and still felt like I had barely eaten. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, the setting was pleasant and located further from the street, and the food itself tasted good.
We intended to eat here but we did not. We came in at 6pm on Saturday, January 31. We were the only ones there. Well, other than a table of Bonito’s staff (8 people +) playing card games, eating and gambling. Our server was very good and gave us our drinks promptly and was attentive, but the large table near us with many workers with their uniforms and aprons on, playing cards and betting with each other was unprofessional, to say the least. We stayed for about 40 minutes and their game never abated. We wanted to eat - we’ve eaten at bonito kitchen before and it’s good. We were excited that a location was coming to ZR. We will not be back. Management and owners need to know.
