Huckleberry Cafe Pulaski Reviews
Good food, deserts very reasonably priced and delicious. Friendly staff, nice quiet relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Good homemade food. First night in the area and made a stop here because the name drew me in. Staff was extremely nice and the food was great. They had baked goods (to include Huckleberry items) for sale as well. Could see this place being very busy. Will definitely be back.
🐔 vegetable rice soup and grilled cheese, heart burn and left shoulder pain and stomach pain, just a bad combination I guess, thank goodness every thing passes.in time I kept telling my self, flavor of soup off?in taste should have thrown away.sometimes the soups 🍲 stay around to long..I've had that problem with soups in other places, they kept to long and re heat or boil. The grilled cheese was perfect. The 2 minutes turned into 15 minutes waiting this was to go not a sit down. Nice place good service, just the soup proudly old .my fault should have thrown out, price was fine.
Great place to stop into, the food is always top notch in my opinion, the size of, as well. Really worth giving it a try. Guaranteed satisfaction. Dont forget to try a dessert, just like grandma used to make.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Always a good variety of baked goods and the coffee is continuously flowing. Full menu and daily specials are ready quickly and delicious.
We had the pulled pork and crispy chicken sandwich. Also the huckleberry pie. The pulled pork sandwich was great and the pie was good too. Great service and very nice people there. Would come again!
Very welcoming environment, server was amazing. She even placed aside my mom purse that she forgot because she was excited to purchase the pastries 🍰 😀. They kept her purse safe until we received it. Such amazing people and food.
We got off Route 81 looking for the Sandy Creek Diner advertised on the highway (it doesn’t exist anymore) and found the Huckleberry Cafe. The food was delicious. I had a haddock sandwich - it was clearly freshly breaded and cooked. The side of grilled vegetables were surprisingly fresh and tasty. My wife had some sort of scrambled egg melt sandwich with homemade cinnamon apple sauce and was very pleased. We’ll be back!
This place is a really cute hometown style cafe. The waitress was lovely and very helpful. I ordered the deluxe frittata scramble and it was to die for!!! Huge portions, I could only finish about 1/3 of my meal.
We came to Pulaski for a fishing trip and came across huckleberry Cafe. We decided to try it out and the reviews were god. We sat down got drinks and the waitress was very friendly and had very good service. We ordered the nachos with award winning chili and was very good, with lots of different ingredients expanding the great tasting flavors. Jake order the special, smoked Ruben with pineapple coslaw, this happened to be a house favorite. Big mama ordered the bucket of bones with the Mac and cheese and beans and their wasn't a crumb left. Brian also ordered the bucket of bones, even though he loved it he was unable to finish the amount of food the was presented.Matt ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and again even though it was a super flavourful sandwich it was to big for Matt to finish. And the waitress was very friendly and always on the ball with her customers and never forgot to have a smile on her face while taking orders. They had an excellent variety of desserts including black berry pie, blueberry pie, peach pie, coconut cream pie, banana cream pie, apple pie, and carrot cake. Overall the experience was very enjoyable and would recommend coming down to try it.
We stopped at the Huckleberry Cafe as we were passing through the area, and had a wonderful experience. The service was phenomenal, and the food was awesome with very generous portions. I got the bag of bones dinner, which was way more than I could eat, but was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken drumsticks were crispy and so flavorful. My partner got the chicken breast dinner, which had a delicious marinade and again was more food than he could finish. The baked goods looked amazing, we took some chocolate cake to go. The unsweetened iced tea was refreshing. The bathroom was very clean, and we were seated quickly. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I look forward to going here again the next time we are in the area!
Holy moly this is the place to go if you're hungry and in the area. Everything is home made (they have their own smoker as well) and ridiculously inexpensive. Staff are super friendly and on top of things. Honestly the best brisket I have ever had!! Trust me, if you come here you're not going to leave disappointed!
I ordered the Philly Cheese steak & it was pretty good. For dessert was the chocolate peanut butter pie & boy was that a piece of sweet heaven in my mouth!!! HIGHLY recommend 👌🏻
Cute spot. Great menu with good pricing. Plenty of sweets to choose from. So glad we finally stopped for dinner. We took multiple desserts to go.
The pancakes are thick and fluffy, the corn beef hash is homemade And very flavorful. Coffee is good. Came at a very busy time and we had to wait quite a while for our breakfast. We sat at the counter rather than wait 30 to 45 minutes for a table. Well worth the wait and the drive.
We stopped at the Huckleberry Cafe while traveling through the area. It's a cozy little homestyle diner. Waitress was friendly and the food was good overall, my wife had the Huckleberry salad and it was on point, kids liked the chicken tenders, I had the seafood combo, the haddock, shrimp, and scallops were all good but the fried clam strips unfortunately were not, the breading was too thick and undercooked. Also the bathroom could use a good cleaning. Overall still an enjoyable place to eat, would stop in again to try their breakfast
