Antojitos y Mariscos Punta Allen Reviews
Excellent seasoning and portions
It seems like it's a popular place. We saw a lot of cars and decided to stop and try it... their food looked delicious and was delicious. I liked what I saw of the dishes on the tables next to us. It seems it gets crowded, so be careful, but it's very delicious. I recommend it.
Very tasty, good service, and very family-friendly. Regular price, but worth it!
The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The prices are average for the area. Keep in mind that it sometimes takes a while to serve, especially when it's busy.
Ok
Sundays are very busy, so if you're hungry, be patient. The prices are a bit high considering the location, and the portions are moderate. I ordered a shrimp dish, and when they gave it to me, I thought it was a courtesy. Then I thought it was a joke because of the size of the plate (my hand is bigger), but no, it was my shrimp dish, which cost $80.00. Personally, I didn't like the seasoning very much, but everyone can share their experience at the market.
I arrived at 6 and they told me there was no service anymore. I wanted takeout and only cold bar items. If you close before 7, change your hours.
The food is good but the 3 waiters are quite slow. As soon as it gets a little busy, they don't know what to do and stop serving us because they get lost. We better go to the one next door, faster and more efficient.
The service was good, but the food was bad. I ordered some empanadas, and they were awful; they tasted like plastic. Also, they have a menu that says some dishes are available until 1:00 pm, but when you order them, they say it's until 12:00 pm.
The place caught our attention because it looked very crowded, but we didn't like the food. The shrimp enchilpayados tasted like nothing. I returned them and even after complaining, they weren't tasty. Plus, they can't keep up with so many people, and the service takes much longer than at any other seafood restaurant.
Terrible service from the waitresses. There were four of us. They took our order and only delivered two dishes. The other two never arrived, and we had to go to another restaurant.
The food was mediocre, the service was terrible, and when I asked for the bill, they were charging me 430 pesos, but when I added it up, it was only 300 pesos. I got up and told the owner, but she didn't say anything, not even apologize for the rip-off. What were they trying to do by charging me for a shrimp soup, an order of appetizers, and two Cokes? They probably do this to different customers; you should be careful when paying. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.
