Cara Mia Queens Village Reviews
The food was delicious 😋. Waiters were top notch. Food and service was fast. They allowed us to hangout and enjoy each other's company. Mississippi mud pie i suggest for dessert.

Love the food and service Laurie wa great
Great place. Food was well made. Very accommodating. Drinks both hard and soft were plentiful. Service was quick. Seating was very good
The best family setting restaurant I’ve been to. The food is delicious professionally prepared. The service is excellent.
I been at CaraMia since Queens Village early 80s. They were never hit or miss...Always a hit!! I go to floral Park even door dash ALWAYS A HIT!!!!
Kathy and I were early for 3pm meet with friends so we had a drink at bar. Haley (ph) behind the bar was so nice. No forced conversation, as we have in most bars. Very comfortable and enjoyable. SJU in common. Meals at the table were excellent and everyone put up with our loud voices (lol). Expresso Martini to top it off was soo good. (OK, you get it, Haley is adorable, wish I was back in graduate school)
Great Italian spot! Had the chicken parm and it was delicious - perfectly cooked with flavorful sauce. Generous portions and friendly service. Will definitely return!
First time here. Really nice looking restaurant. Staff was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Food was really good. Huge portions, you definitely get your money's worth. Will definitely be back again.
I'm not sure which was better, the food or the service! Both were incredibly top notch. Every dish had its own unique flavor and the service staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly.
The food is amazing. Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants around. Very friendly service. They don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait during busy times.
Had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here and it was great. Food was awesome probably best fried calamari I’ve ever had and multiple people at my party felt the same. Never went thirsty waiters kept the drinks coming like champs. A little tight for big parties but we made it work. Price per plate was very fair for quality of food for sure. Would definitely come back and recommend.
Everything at Cara Mia is amazing. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. We didn’t catch our waiter’s name but he was phenomenal, he even ran out into the rain because someone in our party forgot their cell phone. We had a great dining experience!
Absolutely loved my food at Cara Mia. I got The chicken Parm with Penne. And as an appetizer I did the fried calamari arrabbiata. Both were absolutely delicious. I loved the ambiance, felt like one of those old fashion Italian restaurants. Would definitely suggest this restaurant.
Cara Mia has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants, and I can see why it is such a special place for my girlfriend’s family. They go there for every big celebration and now I understand why. We went with a group of 10 to celebrate three birthdays and everything was fantastic. I had the veal pizaoli and it was absolutely bonkers. The food across the table was amazing and the service was just as good. The staff is warm and welcoming, and they made us feel completely at home. My girlfriend’s uncle loves the place so much he has built a relationship with the owners. Whenever her parents and aunt and uncle go, they are greeted like family, which says a lot about the care and hospitality here. By the end of the night I was stuffed and even though we stayed past closing time, the staff remained friendly and never once made us feel rushed. That kind of service is rare and worth recognizing. Highly recommend Cara Mia for anyone looking for incredible food, great service, and a true family atmosphere.
Ive ben going to cara mia for over ten years. These people treat you like family. The food is delicious, the ambiance is relaxing and the staff are wonderful human beings. I will always recommend to everyone that Cara Mia is the best Italian restaurant I know.
Did pick up there one afternoon and from the time I ordered to the time I ate was amazing. The person taking the order was very nice. When I got to the restaurant, it was beautiful inside and also full but they were able to attend to me immediately for my pick up. The food was delicious and amazing. Haven’t had such good Italian food in a long time. Definitely our new go to spot for Italian food.
Oh my God why don't I live down the street from this restaurant. Because I'd be 400 lb! This is an old school Italian restaurant. Reminded me of the food I grew up with. Staff is fantastic. And the food is lovely. Good for families, couples, large groups or small. I schleped all of our leftovers back to Seattle the next day. YUMMY!
We've been coming to this restaurant since 1984 & continue to do so due to the down home service & food quality. The menu is diverse, the drinks are generous, and the desserts are decidently delicious. Make a reservation & go early if you don't like to wait for a table, but no matter what you choose to do you'll love this place. The new location in Floral Park has all the charm of the 1st location, but with more space. Tonight's chopped baked clams, lasagna, penne ala vodka & veal picata were only upstaged by the top flight creme brule.
The food was amazing, service was excellent and prices were even better for the portions we got. I'm not Italian but I know good food when I eat it. The bread was nice, fresh and soft, calamari was the perfect amount of crispy and the pasta was a perfect texture. The wine was also a fan favorite. I live an hour away and would drive back with no hesitation.
We are regular customers. I love the food, the atmosphere, and the personality we interact with Carlos, the owner every time But today, we were there to celebrate my grandson's birthday. We sat down next to the bar, which we never do. The waitress on that side took my utensils without asking me if I finished. I got distraught that they were rushing us when we were regular customers.
Family raved about this place. I had shrimp monachina. It was good, but not better than I've had in places like king umberto. Their red sauce on the side pasta which comes with the meal was terrible. Creme Brulee cheesecake was very good even though it's not house made. I'll stick with the good Ole standbys...filomenas, king umberto, etc. Ps. They only take reservations for parties of 6 or more
It was a very nice classy Italian dinner spot. The lights were dim, they have booths, and table seating. They do have outdoor seating for those who are not vaccinated, please provide your cards if you are. The outdoor seating isn’t the best, it’s not a pretty side street. However 5 stars goes to their food! It’s delicious! The service is good but they could get some more uplifted waiters. They seemed tired and unenthusiastic, understandable…
