Halal Munchies Queens Reviews
The food felt real fresh. I tried it for the first time. Hoping to get back again!
Great food, best halal in Queens. Abdullah, Adnan, Faisal, best guys here. Great customer service. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know.
This place is amazing. The owner actually cares about how your food is prepared and will go above and beyond for his customers! The food is always good with fresh meat and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend this franchise over others!
We have been coming to this spot for years and have always loved it . It’s very high quality halal food and the kofta here is amazing . The plates are made amazing and you can custom make your food . We decided to write a review today because the owner I’m assuming or manager Abdullah was amazing in his customer service . Something had occurred and he blessed us today with amazing customer service with 2 plates of food . Thank you for being honorable and happy new year .
I ordered from Halal Munchies for the 1st time on Grub Hub and am so happy I did. My mother wanted a Cheeseburger and I ordered the Chicken Gyro. She said that her cheeseburger was flavorful and Not Dry but cooked perfectly. My chicken gyro was one of the most delicious ones I have had in a long time. The ratio of portion to meat was well balanced and the seasoning was outstanding … even the French Fries were seasoned well!! Definitely a new favorite!!
First off the bat amazing service the guy greeting you in the front when you walk in and get to the counter super nice. The food now is amazing. That little size salad is super fresh. The fries are extra crispy and there’s enough portion of meat to rice it’s amazing. Definitely coming back here again for reasonable price!!!-Peter
Halal Munchies has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a delicious and satisfying meal. The variety of sandwiches they offer is impressive, but the kofta kebab is an absolute standout. The flavors are rich and authentic, and the portions are incredibly generous, making sure you leave fully satisfied. Not only is the food outstanding, but the cleanliness and neatness of the place really stand out. It’s always a pleasure to gy my food from such a well-maintained environment. The service is quick and efficient, so you never have to wait long for your meal, even during busy hours. To top it all off, their dessert selection is a sweet lover’s dream! With a wide variety of cakes, there’s always something to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you’re looking for a spot that combines quality, quantity, and a clean dining experience, Halal Munchies is definitely worth a visit.
Wow! I’m sorry for taking this long to write my review, this is my third time eating from here and the standard hasn’t dropped. The food is amazing, fries are fresh, chicken and lamb over rice is flavorful and the white sauce is delicious!!! I can’t recommend this place enough. Please go try the food it’s honestly one of my favorite halal places to get chicken and lamb over rice. Btw I got a mix combo over rice with double fries, extra protein and extra white sauce.
Great bang for your buck! Food was filled to the brim and they give you extra white sauce on the side. This and a can of soda came out to $11. Limited seats so if Its packed you would have to find somewhere else to sit. The fries were crispy, the salad was good. I would recommend trying it out!
Ordered for the first time through DoorDash because they had a buy one get one free promo on the mixed combos. They came in containers smaller than what I’ve gotten from other halal spots, salad tasted stale, chicken bland. Lamb and fries were good. Wouldn’t order from here again, I’ll stick to Halal Eats which is slightly cheaper, larger portions and tastes better.
First of all the item of the menu says Chicken over rice, In fact chicken and rice is 25%, 25% fries and 50% is their cheap salad, most of it is lettuce. They don’t provide receipts: whenever I asked they became angry. What is wrong with these guys?
I used to order here before and it was one of my favorites. The rice was drenched in oil in the bottom and I could not eat it and it made me nauseous. So disappointed
Man a price of $9.99 is actually $11.28. Might as well put the price as $11.50 upfront and skip the deceiving part of it .Paying for food, and tax, and Credit Card Fees. It’s like doing a math before purchasing something. Who is carrying cash with them for all the purchases. I understand the rising cost of everything but adding a credit card fee just wants me not to go there anymore. And it’s 4%. It’s like paying more for less. Quality going down, quantity going down, but only thing going up is prices.
First and foremost, I WILL NEVER GO BACK! worst customer service and portion of meat is way too expensive. One scoop of gyro meat cost me three dollars, but I asked the server give me for $4, so he adds tiny little bit extra gyro meat then ring me up. It comes out to be $4 but he charge me tax which comes out to be $4.53 😡 outrageous😤 This place is Halal but seem like haram how they do business 🤦🏽♂️
