Hunan “K” Queens Reviews
I bought pork dumplings and the general tso chicken from May Luck Garden, the dumpling meat was really good and juicy. The sauce was really good as well. The general tso chicken was crispy and the sauce wasn’t too spicy. I would definitely recommend to others to try this place.
Great food and great service. Recently came under new ownership, and the new team is actively elevating the service provided. This place is fantastic
My coworker treated me to a meal from May Luck Garden, and it was absolutely delicious. The teriyaki beef and shrimp with broccoli was generously portioned with a lot of meat, something you rarely see in this economy. (Just look at how full those containers were!!) I normally don't like teriyaki because it's always made too sweet for my liking, but this was more savoury and was a match made in heaven with white rice. Will definitely visit again.
Solid spot. Fast, huge portions, and actually not greasy. Good prices, too.
They're really friendly and more importantly the general chicken is really good some subtle flavors and their chili oil is bomb
The person that takes my order is friendly. The foods get ready fast and taste good.
Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and egg roll, about $10 and can definitely feed 2 people, fast delivery and good service
Food was tasty, well priced, and had good portions. Lunch special is great. The Hunan Beef and Egg Drop Soup are delicious Cash Only

This is May Luck Gardens first year in its location, every previous iteration has been Hunan K, and under more or less the same ownership. I’ve been waiting here in May luck for all of ten minutes and ten minutes has already given me hope for what nearly 20 years of what Hunan K failed to deliver. I’m genuinely excited and hopeful for May Luck Garden to be a success. I’ve been a chef now for thirteen years and seeing local places like this establishing themselves as the dominant presence give me hope
Amazing staff and great food. Fantastic service.
Consistent quality. Hard to find a good place but this is a solid Chinese spot. Super quick delivery service so you know that your food will still be piping hot by the time it gets to your door.
Is a take away store. we get the fried rice and chicken. very tasty and fried rice has the wok hey taste which is amazing. Will buy if we are there again.
They were so hospitable because we showed up right after closing and they still served us generously. Great place!

The food here is delicious and the employees are very kind! We always get a order of baby fried shrimp and shrimp egg rolls but everything is good, I really do recommend it for local Chinese food.
Portions definitely will feed 2-3 people or lots of leftovers. Fast service. The food was okay. 👌 Baby shrimp was good but definitely needed to be dipped in sauce. The fried rice was good also… just too dry for my taste. Pictured with a spring roll and egg roll which are very much like all other restaurants, nothing special but nothing wrong with them.
Hot Chinese food! Egg Foo Young too dark. Second patty little amount of shrimp.

Very affordable and fast food if your hungry. Yellow rice is provided they dnt actually give you fried rice is the only downside. Highly recommend shrimp rolls.
A bit over $6.5 for lunch. They have a variety of options. I like the egg drop soup with fried rice and hunan beef. I would've given it 5 stars for the price but some of the stuff on the menu is petty darn terrible. Like the curry. I'd say leave the curry making to the Indians. Sometimes the food can be pretty bland so I ask them to make it extra spicy. Portion is really good too. I'm a big guy and I eat fairly big meals and this knocks me the hell out. You should definitely try this out if you're on a budget. However the place is tiny with about 6 chairs. But there's usually just one person eating there.
4.5 stars overall for a Chinese-American comfort food gem in the heart of Woodside. Tried the Szechuan style chicken (hearty, delicious, loaded with boneless chkn and veggies in a flavorful sauce) and the Chkn w/ Garlic Sc (sauce was a touch too sweet for my liking but it hit the spot) to date. Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu. The service is always warm and welcoming and I wish them much success while serving this dining dessert along Queens Blvd for a long long time.

Overall, good Chinese takeout. My recommendation to the owners: get another supplier for the dumplings. The wrapping/dough is extremely, thick, heavy and gummy. A thinner wrapping would produce a better experience for the customer.

Slightly more expensive than might be expected for their smaller portions. Their fried shrimp is great. Service was nice, friendly, and efficient. Pretty small restaurant, not much room for a group or anything like that.
Extremely subpar Chinese food. The chicken didn't look right or like chicken at all. I did not eat the much of the meal. Just wasn't very pleased with it. Would not return or recommend.

The food is terrible. It’s always been bad but the people who took it over a few years go really let it slip further down. They velvet the chicken which makes it such a horrible texture I’m always guessing what it is. The sauces are all oil. They only take cash. The delivery people don’t speak the language and so if they cannot find you, too bad. How hard is it to try to get a better cook or two? Even the ingredients are limited. Every dish is loaded with green pepper and onions taking the place of higher quality ingredients. It’s a captive audience that they’re still even open. The guy in the front is very sweet but he can’t make up for the food. Don’t waste your time here. It’s so sad.
Used to be great. I ordered the half fried chicken. They cut the breast into thirds keep 1/3.then they shave some meat off and bread it to hide their sins. I'm still hungry. We called them and received a nasty argument. If you like rice perfect for you thats the whole meal. The noodles are old the wantons in the soup have little of no meat. I will not be going back

The food here is disgusting. I ordered beef and broccoli, and there was barely any beef and it was raw. In cooked
These people don’t use gloves currently in the store watching the delivery guy touch and open a container filled with looks like salt and peanuts and and digs hand in it seemly to put on top of food and when i said something the guy in the front told him to use a spoon these people is touching food with no gloves not washing their hands and only want cash don’t forget they offer a free soda when they want
