I’m so sorry Miriam! I don’t know if you still work there but I promised two years ago that I would leave you a five star review! Then I lost the receipt! But I found it! Still think of you from time to time! You were the best!
Flight was delayed after being in the tarmac so we dropped in here..... good was great! Skirt steak and spaghetti and meatballs were excellent and the fries frankly amazing... was an amazing refuge after a delay.... actually stopped to say thanks to the chefs! Will be back...
So surprised by this little gem in the airport. We all know airport food isn’t great but as a European I have to say that this pasta is some of the best airport food I’ve had in years. I’m surprised this place isn’t packed out when the other alternatives are awful. Maybe it’s the location but it’s only an extra 3 min walk away from all the other bland options. It’s worth it. Staff are friendly and place is super clean. Small intimate area with above average airport food and decent wine too.
The Garlic shrimp is worth missing your flight over! Amazing! Hot and served with garlic bread. Caesar salad was typical but very good. Order both to guarantee that no one will sit in the seat next to you on the plane. Great service. Turning the music down would make a better experience.
My flight was delayed. I was hungry and frustrated. Sitting inside Viaggio made me feel like I no longer was in the airport. First I had dessert Vanilla bean gelato with almond biscotti & espresso it was decadent. Afterward, I ordered the Garlic shrimp appetizer with garlic I felt like I was at a 5 star restaurant
Ok so I’m in the airport looking for a place to eat and chill before my flight. I came across il viaggio and it looked big enough for my party (5 with a baby & stroller). Little did we know we came across a gem. So we sit down and we start to look at the menu. Ordered some drink and the brussle sprouts appetizer. And oh my god. Them Brussels were amazing. I couldn’t even take a picture. Then out walked a sandwich that caught my eye. The kitchen noticed I was eyeing that sandwich. They brought me one to try!! Said it was gonna be new on the menu. And WOW. it was a meatball sandwich. The best meatball sandwich I’ve ever had from a restaurant. They then brought us a Alfredo pasta that they were also planning on putting on the menu. Wow. So yummy. Literally everything we had from this restaurant was great. The service , the food, even the water ! And I’m big on water and the taste ! Anyway. They were super nice. And the place was really cute and clean. 10/10 recommend. Would def come back here again when back in New York.
The food was excellent. I didn’t expect much for Airport food and I was blown away. I liked the fries so much I had to ask them were they got them from. I am not a fry person at all but these were just spectacular. Jimmy was our waiter and he was very good took really good care of us. I would recommend this to anyone who comes through this Airport to stop and have a meal.
I was very pleased with the taste of the spaghetti and meatballs. Service and food preparation was quick so I felt comfortable enjoying the meal before my flight!
The best food I’ve EVER had in an airport. No matter where served, it was really good. Rigatoni w/ perfect compliment of broccolini in a great butter garlic sauce. Arugula salad was on point and not a small serving considering the price. Wine…upcharge as expected, but good quality with many options. Tiramisu and double macchiato to end the meal, wonderful. My server was excellent. He is what I would hope for in a fine restaurant. The reason for the 4 stars in service and atmosphere is a female server working the early afternoon on 7 AUG. There is no reason for her to be working in the service industry. I watched/listened as she scolded guests for not using the QR code and watched multiple people get up and leave after interacting with her. She hung out at the bar swearing about customers with her family/friends and in general was awful to be around. If this woman is working when I return, I’ll go somewhere else. She’s a wart on what is otherwise a great restaurant. The other woman working was quiet, attentive, and kind enough to strike up a conversation as I left.
Located next to Shake Shack and across from Irving Farm Coffe Roasters in Terminal B. As one proceeds off escalators on the left. Closest to Gate 41 and 42. Service is attendtive. Food was ok. Had the Meatball Panino. Served a bit on the warm side, not hot. Bread fell apart, if you order this dish make sure they toast the bread. And asked for the meatballs to be cooked thouruly. Atmosphere is cool if your a people watched.
Inedible. I ordered the salad. The arugula was yellow and it was swimming in dressing. Gross. I couldn’t eat it and I’m not that picky. They did not offer to make it right and they charged the full amount. I should have protested but I needed to get to my flight.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The customer service was extremely poor. staff were not welcoming and the cashier was outright rude. They were unable to process my credit card properly, which delayed me even further as I was already running late for my flight. Instead of showing understanding or empathy for my situation, they seemed indifferent and unhelpful. To make matters worse, I witnessed them deny something as simple as napkins/tissue papers to a passerby, which was shocking and showed a complete lack of basic courtesy. For a place in the service industry, the attitude and treatment I received was unacceptable. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant.
