So happy to rediscover Turquoise after some friends booked a reservation here. It’s rare to find a kosher restaurant dedicated to fish with a great variety of fish prepared to order. Had the St Peters broiled and enjoyed every bite. The staff were friendly and attentive and prices more than fair. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return. 👌🏻

Amazing food and amazing service! My husband and I look forward to coming back. I ordered the Grilled Salmon- it was perfect! My husband ordered the Fish and Chips as inspite if my own personal portion, I couldn't keep my fork out of his plate! The mashed potatoes and steamed veggies were delicious and the CAKE WAS SUPERB! Our waiter Brian told us the owner's wife made it the dessert. Brian provided dynamite customer service and we highly recommend this place! You won't be disappointed.

Highly suggest the fish here it's the best! Service is great they have a full staff for service. Salads are fresh and they use all the freshest ingredients you can taste it in the flavor. Also I recommend reservations. It get so full during diner hours that you may not get a seat if you just show up. Overall I can't get enough of this place.

I wanted to go to this dairy fish restaurant for a while, and was able to make it there finally. It is rare to find a dairy fish restaurant in the east coast, I am glad we tried it. The benefits of restaurant being dairy one is that you can have cheese and yogurt kind of food with your fish. Staff is very helpful. If you go before 5:30 they have a special menu which we took advantage of, but even if you go after 5:30 the prices are not so expensive for a fish restaurant. I would definitely recommend it.

Local spot that deserves the praise and daily traffic it receives from all the surrounding boroughs. Very hard to come across a restaurant that can execute as consistently as they do. Amazing owner always on site. They’ve perfected fish. Salads are phenomenal. Wait staff are like family and are always on point. Just a restaurant done right. For kosher fish this is the place. Took away a star because when I went they were under staffed and they had 2 busboys and 2 waitresses. Long wait for food and cabernet was not so good but overall it was a very good meal. Make a reservation to make sure you get a seat.

We came here for the second time. The ceaser salad came in 2 minutes 37 seconds after ordering. Service was fast but the garlic bread was bukharian bread burned with garlic. The pink pasta was not the best. Very hard and too much sauce. The avocado in sushi was a little hard. Not many choices for drinks except for wine and soda. Tons a variety for fish. Overall a pretty OK place.

Great place with lots of fish option. Lunch scene was a bit quiet although I heard dinner scene is way different and more vibrant. It is a bit pricey for a casual lunch.

I don’t know what happen to this restaurant I use to go there a lot but lately the food quality dropped I found something in my salad looked like metal stick and the fish was a little raw in the middles but the worse thing that they had excuses for everything rather then fix the problems .

Food was alright, overpriced and they charge 20% tip automatically on the bill . Didn’t state that anywhere on the menu. You pay tip based upon how good there service is not on there call. Really miss turnpike cafe food.

I heard great things about this place. Unfortunately we were let down. Food was ok, not bad, but not great either 😕. Service is rushed, and seemed like waitstaff didn't care much either way, which made perfect sense when you see automatic 20% gratuity added to your bill at the end of it all (which im pretty sure is illegal to add for 2ppl table). Sides are bland, and fish itself is pretty decent thank God when you add salt to it and squeeze lemon on top, otherwise also pretty bland. Glad we didn't get the pastas as well, just imagining how much worse it probably would've been since they're known for fish and are kind of mediocre with it. Overall, don't come in with high expectations and hopefully you'll have a better experience than us.

The good: the food overall was good to very good including the appetizers, main courses and dessert The bad: they had no record of our reservations, maybe I shouldn't have made them so far in advance. They did us a big favor and allowed us to stay -Very noisy and busy, I would ask for a table outside or by the wall if you want some civility -The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, they did ask once how the food was yet finished plates were left on the table for half an hour and getting a refill of water was a chore. I actually seemed to startle a staff member who was walking by with a full pitcher of water when I actually asked him for water -20% was automatically added on the check for service yet the wait staff of course never mentioned that. If they're going to automatically add on the tip it's classy for a place to mention that - Someone in my party had to bring the bill and credit card up to the front to pay as our waitress totally missed the credit card leaning off the table with the check when she walked by and we knew based on the service that evening we were never going to get out of there if we didn't

Food is in small portions but very delicious . Waiters are very nice and polite but extremely busy . It is good for a small gathering but they can not handle big group efficiently. Sushi menu has nice selection or you can have them make exactly what you want to your specifications. Overall for a one time experience is good but you donot get your money's worth.

Been here twice 1st time wasnt bad...food was great but the second time was not...You Must make reservations...when i told the guy i didnt make reservations he just started talking to the other group of people who walked in and i was ignored until my friend went up and asked another waiter for a table to which he said they were booked...could have told me sooner instead of making me wait around...the fact that they were booked was understandable the fact that the 1st waiter was rude and ignored was unnecessary

If you have taste buds, skip this restaurant. בסיסי, חסר מעוף, יבש, ולא טעים. After four years we visited again today, and I was not at all pleasantly surprised. Food is basic minus. The fish was over cooked, the Greek Salad never visited Greece, clear that the vegetables are precut, and not skillfully, french fries were over done, bread was dry and burnt. Service was nice and welcoming. I don't think I'll bother to come again soon.. FOUR YEARS AGO .. Everything we ate was good & tasty. Nothing blew me away. But good & tasty in the Kosher restaurant scene is - unfortunately - quite an accomplishment. I will come again. Service was efficient and courteous. I will recommend to others.

Worst service in any kosher establishment. Owner acts like he is doing you a favor when you walk in and completely neglects you. On top of that, they charge 3x what they should charge for mediocre seafood. Staff rudely bump into you when walking around. Do yourself a favor and visit one of the other million restaurants in Queens.

Horrible attitude of the owner momi. And his stuff!!! We made a reservation, they confirmed the reservation, when we arrived there he at first couldn't find us , after I looked at his book I found us. We made it at 7 pm , and he asked us to get the table back at 8 pm , he sale the table twice closely to the time. We were shocked by his nerve and luck of respect. We are his customers for years.

WARNING if you are planning to go to the restuarant with kids prepared to have your child possiblybe get yelled at by the owner. Although it was not my child he did it to but to see it as an observer was very uncomfortable. I guess not all business owners believe in customer satisfaction is important. I found the owner rude and arrogant. And the food was atrocious. I ordered the sesame seared tuna and it was the nastiest thing i have ever had. It had no taste and i had to add hot sauce to give it some life. It is a good thing most of their dishes come with sauces because you will definitely use them. First and the last time i go there. Very dissapointing night.

Incomplete order and hair in food, Ordered thru doordash, was called by the restaurant 30 min after order was being made to tell me that some of the sides I had ordered had run out I was fine with that and ordered other sides, food arrives missing all sides, I called the restaurant and the guy told me I was wrong and I didnt order sides without even asking me what I had ordered, after i asked to speak to the manager he told me the manager wasnt there and said "theres nothing I can do" I opened one of the dishes that was incomplete took a bite and there was a hair in the fish... WTF, I contacted doordash, leaving this review and will be contacting the vaad and health department

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was fair, but the waiter could definitely be more welcoming and smile. Our sushi arrived at the wrong time, as if it had been forgotten. We wanted a whole fish, but of course, it was unavailable. Hoping for something special, we ordered the most expensive roll, but both the presentation and taste were underwhelming. Worst of all, the desserts were a disaster. The "tiramisu" had no coffee or cocoa flavor, and the cappuccino was overloaded with milk. I had been here once before and had a great experience, but it seems like they've gotten too comfortable and let their quality slip. Definitely not worth the price or the hype.

Food is good. Wait staff is horrible. Witnessed the waitress yelling at a client over $7. They included a service fee for a party of six (which in Ny is only allowed for a party of 8 and above). The man paid the bill but did not pay the 20% service fee they added. Waitress yelled at a man who is old enough to be her grandfather. Food is ok, but I can get fish elsewhere.

Don’t believe the other reviews on Google. Impossible that this restaurant has 4.5 stars; they can’t be real. Horrible overpriced food with rude waitstaff creates the least hospitable dining environment. Place is like a circus. Owner acts like his customers are inconveniencing him by dining there. He yelled at children in the restaurant and completely ignored customers who were patiently waiting by the front. The staff aren’t any better either. Spend your money at a deserving restaurant until this owner gets his act together.
