Stopping at Friendly’s for lunch brought back lots of childhood memories! Lindsay waited on us and was very attentive and friendly even during the busy lunch rush. We don’t live nearby, but would definitely stop and see Lindsay again if we ever get back this way. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I came in fairly late, about 9 pm. The hostess and server were absolutely fantastic and super helpful despite it being late. I had a grilled cheese on which they put pickles for me which was amazing! I was very happy with every facet of my experience. At one point during the meal I did look up and notice a man staring quizzically at another man intently. Man number 1 had noticed that man number 2's cheese had not stuck to his burger. Very odd.

Love Friendly's. I grew up going there in the 70s and over the years it struggled. It seems they have gone back to basics, great food and great ice cream geared towards families. It seems like they've brought back a lot of the original menu items as well.

We stopped for a treat after the eclipse and Friendly’s was delightful. It reminded me of going there after grandparent’s day in elementary school. The restaurant was clean and new, the food was good and fast and the service was great. Lindsay was friendly and attentive!

It had been awhile since we had been to this Friendly’s. We were greeted upon arrival and seated within minutes. We had a very interactive waitress who immediately told us about the menu options and Friendly’s rewards program. She was extremely informative and kind. Her name was Kelly and she really went out of her way to take care of us. The sundaes were delicious and made very well. Enjoyed the experience very much and will be sharing our experience with others.

The restaurant was recently revamped inside and it looked great. The parking lot was also recently resealed and it’s small things like that which are often overlooked but I appreciate. This location in Queensbury is one of the better Friendly’s I’ve been to. Definitely stop by if you’re in the Lake George area!

It’s everything you’d expect from a chain. That location has always been the best to go to. I have never had bad service there. Served was very educational on the deals when a special drink was ordered.

When walking in, it took a couple a minutes for a server to come and seat me. I was the only person in the establishment at first. Other than that, the food was good.

Place was decent. Fairly clean and nice staff. Only down sides were we were a screaming kid sitting about 5 tables away who kept slapping his brother and yelling "DIE". The prices seem to be going up. My wife and I ate and had ice cream for $38. We could have eaten better food or meals at Texas Roadhouse and it would have been cheaper.

This place has a diner-like aesthetic and atmosphere. It's pretty roomy with two different spacious areas for seating. The staff were friendly, especially our waitress who was accommodating to every problem or request we had. I only knew Friendly's from their delicious ice cream and only recently discovered that it was actually a restaurant chain. The food that I ordered wasn't bad. They have really good fries, and naturally their desert is awesome too (a ton of ice cream choices). Their menu is pretty big and has quite a few attractive choices - platters, melts, burgers, etc. The prices are ptretty average for diner food. It's the desserts that are pricey, but if you're going there every once in a blue moon it's not a big deal. My complaint is their payment system. It's a tablet-sized device on every table where you can pay from, but it doesn't have a chip-reader for cards which always unsettles me about businesses, and I thought it was silly compared to standard payment processes done at restaurants. Also, they screwed up a Friend-Z at our table - it had too much syrup in it and rendered it not as appetizing as it should have been. The place was a bit messy as well, but I've seen worse.

The floors? Sticky. Always sticky. Perhaps it’s a regional theme. Still, the restroom’s overall cleanliness shines through, proving that you don’t need modern décor to make a solid impression. We ordered Door Dash. While it was delivered on time, this was the $15.99 chicken tender meal! The tenders were all surprisingly tiny and there were 15 fries. If this were an $8 appetizer, could be understandable, but this is a bit ridiculous

Unfortunately, I am changing my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. I have never edited a review to lower the stars... My wife and I ordered food and we were extremely disappointed. The service when we went in person was good and the food was good that time. But this food? The quesadilla was small and barely filled with cheese or chicken, the Mac and cheese had the cheese separated with it liquidy on the bottom and thick and curdled on the top. And my sandwich had barely any cheese at all. There was whipped cream and cherry on the ice cream specifically marked for NO whipped cream. I understand that the temperature issue (it was practically cold) may have been the delivery driver not keeping the temp and thats out of the restaurant's control so I'm giving some grace by not giving just 1 star.

If I could give this friendly’s a zero I would. Our server was non attentive. Our dishes were dirty. Not to mention the general manager of this restaurant is very racist. Racially profiled my cousins which are black. As a manager as myself in the retail industry this is not at all how a manager should act, she herself should’ve made it right instead of talking shit about us in the kitchen where my cousin's girlfriend could hear. I didn’t catch the general manager’s name but I for one think she should be fired for her offensive behavior.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Friendly's. The service was abysmal—the server was painfully slow and seemed completely uninterested in our needs. She wouldn’t even let us finish saying “no” before walking away after asking if we needed anything else. It was clear she didn’t care about providing good service. To make matters worse, we were seated right by the door to the open kitchen, where I had a full view of my BLT sitting under the heat lamp for ten minutes. I made eye contact with the server at least twice while it was sitting there, but she completely ignored it. By the time I finally got it, the tomato and lettuce were warm and soggy, and the fries were stale and gross. The kitchen staff were loudly chatting about inappropriate topics that the entire restaurant could hear. It was unprofessional and made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. As if that wasn’t bad enough, my companion’s burger was burnt to a crisp—blackened and barely edible. All in all, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Between the awful service, unappetizing food, and lack of professionalism, I would never recommend this location to anyone. Absolutely terrible.

I have visited this establishment on many occasions and never in my life had a hostess/waitress talk and act like she did to me. We went to Friendly's to celebrate a special occasion. My husband and I walked in and the employee said 2, I said no 7. She litterly rolled her eyes and said we could take the 2 booths by the door. I said, can't we have the long table in the back. She rolled her eyes again and asked another employee. She came back and said you can go in here. I explained to her that we were there for a special occasion and I wanted us to all sit together. She says, you can sit here just don't make a mess. If it wasn't for the excitement of my granddaughter (whom I was glad wasn't there yet to hear this), I would have walked right out the door and this establishment would have lost out on a $100 bill. Then the ice cream comes and 2 of them were incorrect. One thing is for sure, I will never go back there again....shame on her to think its okay to talk to customer like that, especially a 60 year old lady. Can't imagine the way she would talk to her own Mom!!

I recently visited Friendly’s and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I noticed a spider near the entrance, which immediately set a poor tone for the visit. The service did not improve from there. Our waiter was noticeably unfriendly, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable rather than welcoming. Service was very slow—each step of the dining experience was delayed. For example, it took nearly 20 minutes just for our drink order to arrive, which is far below reasonable expectations. Overall, this visit did not reflect the level of hospitality or cleanliness that should be expected from a restaurant. Based on this experience, I would rate it zero out of zero and hope management takes these concerns seriously to improve for future guests.

Both my wife and I are from the northeast, so Friendly's was a staple from our childhood. We don't have any where we currently live, so we were excited to go again. The empty parking lot should've been a dead giveaway. Mind you the day we arrived in the area, a cold front had passed through, so it was rainy and chilly. We walked in the restaurant and it was ice cold inside. Our server seemed less than thrilled to have customers. My wife ordered the beef tips meal, and the meat was so overcooked she couldn't eat it. I ordered the philly steak and cheese melt. It was so cold in the restaurant, our food was cold in minutes. There was no way we were getting ice-cream to be even colder! Definitely not the Friendly's we remember. It's pretty obvious why there's less and less locations.
