An absolute wonderful experience every time we visit this lovely restaurant. Steeped in so much history a Raleigh Landmark for (50) years and just the best. The menu is always on point, atmosphere so cute, warm and cozy, the service and staff amazing. A great date night to an amazing brunch. Any time is the right time here … ♥️

The server was friendly, I ate here with a dairy and tree nut allergy and the food was delicious. There was live music and the decor was odd in a fun way. Good atmosphere but a bit loud during busy times, maybe sitting outside would be better if you're sensitive to a lot of noise.

Great food, excellent service, wonderful live music (was a cute mom/son duo the night I went). Love the vide and everything about this restaurant.

Had reservations for Father’s Day & arrived early - no problem getting a seat at 10 AM. Live music playing here. Full bar service if you wanted it. Bottomless coffee - now your talkin’. The food & service were great for what turned out to be full house with people waiting outside. Turns out friends we had not seen for years were there to see their two adult kids! Would I go again? Yes. Readable prices & we made a great memory here.

One of those "blink and you'll miss it" type of spots. Cozy but not overly intimate. Looks like the manu changes seasonally so we had the winter dinner menu. The spicy honey chicken is a tastefully unique take on soul food, and the steak coulette is super tender. Looking forward to trying more.

I’ve.been going,to Irregardless since it opened in 1975, and havenever had a bad meal! A recent Friday night, Kim served us With excellent but unintrusive service. The food was delicious. My friend had never eaten here and really enjoyed it. She had the Eggplant Parmesan, I had the salmon, and we were both very pleased with the food, the atmosphere and our server! My friend had wine and I had a cocktail,, both were very good. I Love the variety on the Irregardless Cafe‘s menu! And they always have the best desserts!

Well, I knew we were onto something when I arrived to the restaurant 10 minutes before they opened at 10am on Saturday and there was already a line outside. Although we didn’t have a reservation, they were able to accommodate 2 of us for the morning crowd. I highly recommend making reservations for Saturday brunch. When we left after our meal, the restaurant had no empty tables and the line was out the door. Harper & Zak, our wait staff were exceptional. They kept our glasses full and served with a smile. Harper was able to make some good recommendations for my friend who could only eat gluten free. He ordered the chicken & waffles and gave it a rating of 7.5 on a scale of 1-10. I ordered the Tofu Chorizo Scramble, which did not disappoint. The homemade vegan chorizo added a nice kick to the scramble combination. The side salad was fresh and the home fries savory. I love that Harper assumed correctly that I’m a vegan since I ordered the Tofu Chorizo Scramble. He brought out two small vegan muffins with plant based butter to eat while we waited for our meals. Thank you Harper! This is a family friendly restaurant with great service and food. By the way, they’re celebrating 51 years of existence! Unheard of for a restaurant that caters to vegetarians, vegans and people with other food restrictions. Check them out if you’re in the Raleigh, NC area. I can’t wait to bring my wife. 😎

Food was excellent and our server Carley was so nice! The tables were a little close together, it felt like we were having breakfast with the couple next to us 😂 but other than that it was great. Next time we’ll get a reservation and ask for a better table.

Like others, price has gone up since COVID and with new owners. Parking is halfway down the side street and to the left. It starts filling up around 6 on Saturdays, when the music starts - see schedule on web site. We had potato soup, citrus salad, Mujaddara - very tasty and complex! Good beer list; I had a nicely dry cider. Flourless chocolate was also good, not as thick fudgy as some. We need to remember to skip dessert at least once to try those at Burning Coal Theatre before the play.

The restaurant offers a warm ambiance with a charming historic touch that creates a unique dining atmosphere. A highlight of the evening was the live music, played by a talented musician—it really elevated the mood and added to the overall feel of the place. Service was okay—not particularly attentive, but sufficient. The garlic hummus was excellent—creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The cauliflower duo was decent, though not especially memorable. The biggest disappointment was the fried oyster mushroom dish. It had a burnt taste, and the beans served with it were undercooked, making it completely unappetizing—we couldn’t eat it. Despite the food inconsistencies, the ambiance and live music made the evening pleasant overall.
