This is a review for their halo halo, it's so yummy, there are so many ingredients in this dessert/drink and it just works. From ube ice cream, flan, jelly, cereal and much more, it is a very delicious treat. 😋

We comes here just to eat Filipino food. We love their barbecue, grill squid, grill bangus and the halo-halo for dessert.

Halo halo is at Grill City. Not Jollibee or Red Ribbon. Pretty good. Don't forget to mix it all up before enjoying it.

Lol updated 2026 review and I absolutely agree w everything I said! Growing up eating Filipino food, I get cravings every so often. I usually make what I want at home but to be able to have 2-3 of your favorite Filipino dishes, well then, you’d have to be at a party. But if one is craving some from the islands than you need to find the nearest Seafood City and get yourself to a Grill city. Is it the best? Nah. Is it pricey? Yahh. Is it good? Sometimes. Does it fill your cravings? ABSOLUETLY! Every Filipino Lola’s/Lolo’s (grandmother/Grandfather) makes each dish different. It will not be one of those omg reminds me of home moments (unless you live in the Midwest with a bunch of non-Asian descendants and only eat hamburgers and pizza for years) but rather, it satisfies the cravings. Have you heard of well, if you see the same ethnicities eating that food then you know its authentic, I believe that! Its authentic so if you in the area and want to try Filipino Food then come here, I would suggest a 2 Item combo, comes with rice; something grilled, something stewed add noodles or a dessert like Halo Halo Suggestions; Work on the customer service (Super Lacking), Rice is cheap so give more, Possibly par cook the BBQ and cook to order so it will be hot, ensure the chafing dishes are at the right temperature (HOT) check them hourly.

The best Filipino grilled food in town. They truly give you the Pinoy Street Food experience. Almost everything is grilled. You can smell it as you walk it. The WOW Silog for breakfast is delicious. Egg, tocino with garlic rice. The judgemental gaze from the cashier (you chose THAT to wear) as she's pouring the included coffee. Feels like Manila.

Grill City is nestled inside Seafood City Market in Rancho Cucamonga on Foothill Blvd. they have a variety of Filipino dishes and mostly known for their grilled items, such as Grilled BBQ Pork and Chicken, Liempo (Grilled Pork Belly), and fish. This is a walk-up counter where you point and pick your items for purchase. They do have some tables and chairs if you want to eat inside the market. The placement is a little weird because it’s where people enter and exit. Most of the time, you’ll see a gentleman grilling the items through the window. It only makes you salivate more anticipating that first bite of juicy grilled BBQ meat. I usually will stop by and purchase an item or two, depending on what looks the freshest. I personally like their Grilled BBQ Pork skewer than their Grilled BBQ Chicken Skewer, as it tends to hold more flavor. I’ve ordered the Grilled Pork Belly (Liempo) but it’s always a hit or miss. The last two times, unfortunately, we’re a miss - the pork fat was just too rubbery. I’ve also ordered a Grilled Calamari - the only thing is it’s overstuffed with tomatoes and onions and seems to not be cooked all the way through. I suppose it’s better than being overcooked. The solution for that was just to cook it through at home. The aroma of grilled items here is irresistible. The price on the skewers might seem a bit steep at 4 for $20 ($5 each). However, there’s plenty on each skewer and the pieces are pretty big. They have other hot items you can order (adobo, menudo, sinigang, etc.) but I tend to skip over those since I can just make the dishes myself. Overall, it’s a convenient place to get shopping done at the market and pick up some ready-to-eat items to bring back home for your family. One less thing for you to worry about.

This was for our Christmas eve dinner. My only real complaint is with the $95 dollar full tray Dinuguan that we ordered. Dinuguan is my favorite dish so I was really looking forward to this. But I was really disappointed with this Dinuguan, and that We paid $95 for this inedible full tray of Dinuguan. It had plenty of very hard to chew cubes of pork fats, that almost made it inedible. Hardly any meat, just hard to chew pork fats. If they were not already closed that day. I would have brought the Dinuguan back and ask for a refund. A full order came in two half trays. It was barely touched when we ate because of the poor quality of the meat. I am not really sure how Grill City can fix my situation, but I sure hope that they make sure the quality of the food that they prepare and serve, especially the catering orders are of good quality and edible. My whole family and friends call this DINUGUANG MATIGAS NA TABA. Disclosure: my family eats at the store almost in a daily basis and loves all the friendly people who work there. Update 12/31/25 food order: Same a our Christmas order. Our new year’s order was messed up as well. First, the crispy pork sisig. What we received is not crispy and it is not even pork sisig. It had a weird sauce. Second, the beef mechado, hardly any potatoes, and they were very undercooked, same with the carrots. Lastly, the pancit palabok, it was very dry, no sauce at all. Such a disappointment! I really hope grill city reads this and at least try to attempt to fix this and offer some effort to compensate their customers that they gave wrong and bad orders to. What happened to customer care and customer satisfaction. Your food items are not cheap! So we expect you to fix this!

A dishonest business. There was no beef in my meal, just a large portion of bitter vegetable eggs. They charged me the price of beef. I went back to the counter and asked the cashier, and the answer was that this was the price. I think this is a fake bill. I ate a fish and Half of the rice and bitter vegetables,I can guarantee there is no beef

Situated inside Seafood City. Their food is limited and pricey. You only come here for when you crave for Filipino food. But if you want more, you have to venture out to Covina which is the closest to Foothill, for some Filipino cuisines. Staff are slow and their Apple pay doesn’t work, sucks. However their grilled pompano fish is good.

Our experience at Grill City was extremely disappointing. The food was tasteless and definitely not worth the price. We ordered several dishes, hoping for a satisfying meal, but each one was a letdown. The crispy pata was far from crispy—it was soggy and lacked the crunch you expect from this dish. The menudo was equally disappointing, as it had no distinctive flavor that would remind you of authentic menudo. The ginataang sitaw at kalabasa was a complete disaster; whoever cooked it should seriously reconsider their approach to Filipino cuisine. To top it all off, the chicken BBQ was dry and flavorless, making it nothing but a waste of food. Adding to the poor food quality, the cleanliness of the restaurant was unacceptable. Tables were filled with food remains, and the floor was equally messy. It felt like no one was paying attention to basic hygiene standards. To make matters worse, much of the food seemed like it had been reheated from the previous day rather than freshly prepared. Overall, our visit to Grill City was a regrettable experience, and we cannot recommend it to anyone looking for quality Filipino food.

Ordered delivery from here. Half the order was out of stock. The food we got was very under seasoned and the meat was so over cooked that parts of it were inedible. On top of that the position sizes where very small for the price. This is the worst example of Philipino cuisine I have ever had.

This is the WORST place to order online! After waiting for an hour with no update, I tried to call their number (which does not work) so you will have to call Seafood City and ask them to be transferred to Grill City. After speaking with a woman over the phone, she said that one of the items is not available. So instead of them informing me about it, I had to wait for an hour for nothing until I decided to call them. They also said that no one is there to collect it for delivery. RIDICULOUS! I hate this place to be honest. If there is another Filipino food I can order online, I will in a heartbeat but sadly this poorly managed restaurant is the only one close to our location. If I can give it ZERO star, I would. THE WORST!!

I ordered two pieces of Cebuchon for my granddaughter's birthday. I was very disappointed because the two Cebuchon's skin were not crispy. The skin is tender and soft. We put it in the oven for more than thirty minutes, the skin is still soft and saggy. I am a regular customer of their Cebuchon, the previous orders I had were okay. The Cebuchon looked like they were cooked the day before and were just warmed the day after. They don't look and taste fresh and crispy. They were supposed to be the same size but this time the other one was bigger than the other one and the lady said that the big one compensate the size of the small one which is strange. Never again!!! You guys be careful when you order Cebuchon or other dish from that place, they are not honest at all!! I feel being fooled and they thought that they get away with it. We were excited to have a crispy Cebuchon but the Cebuchon came out a total disappointment. I ended up toasing the other one because nobody ate it. The other one was not also consumed. Beware of this place!!! DO NOT BUY CEBUCHON FROM HERE!!!

Bought groceries there last week and was happy to receive a coupon for a two-dollar halo-halo! ONLY the coupon didn't indicate an expiration date, so when I claimed my supposed deal, the staff at the counter said that the deal was already expired. She did tell me to come back next week and they will honor the coupon. She even wrote the date on the coupon as a gesture of good faith. I came back today (as per instructed) and was told that they don't have the ingredients to make halo-halo with (!!), but added that they "might get the ingredients today". The manager that I spoke to made no effort to offer a substitution to their non-existent halo-halo offer until I brought it up. She eventually placated me with buko juice drink, but any home-grown Filipino will tell you that a buko juice drink ain't the same as a halo-halo.

This place is really frustrating… the whole place smells great, truly reminds me of home! I always end up disappointed everytime i order from here. THIS IS THE LAST TIME. Overcooked rice (like it was sticky rice), RAW chicken (pink under the skin, blood dripping RAW), bland bbq, saggy lumpia, rock hard pork adobo and wth happend to the coconut milk in my ginataang puso??? VERY FRUSTRATING, VERY DISAPPOINTING. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

The sign said, the pack time is 11:57, prep time is 12:40, we ordered at around 6:00, the food arrived at 7:30. The sign said discard after 4 hours, which is at around 4:30. Therefore, the food that was sold to us should have been discarded because it had expired. Had we seen that sign before we tasted the food, we would have sent it back! Palabok, bihon are too salty! Also with the grllled liempo. Extremely salty!
