Juanita's III Rancho Cucamonga Reviews
Love Juanita's!! And I was determined to get some!! Even though the line was around the building, and drive thru was tight, it was definitely worth the wait, and it moved along quickly!!!😍 So yummy, priced right! Glad I stopped!
Not happy with the quality of their meats. Dislike biting into cartilage and bone. :-([ I used to like tacos and taquitos.... NOT anymore. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt but I do not like to waste money on food. Their avocado sauce is horrific. Save your time effort and money.
This place is amazing.Their food is goooood... let me put it like this I was the 12th person in the drive through line and there were 10 more people behind me. When I received my order at the window there was at least 15 people behind me. The time was 6:30pm on a Friday. Excellent service 👏 and the food was hot!! Juanita's III gets 👍👍
Food was delicious and a great value. Didn't care much for the homemade tortillas they didn't really taste homemade but everything else was great. The service through the drive thru was wonderful she was very patient and kind
Been eating here for a long time. Started with Ontario location then we finally got one in Rancho. You can't beat the size of the burritos (fatties), the hot sauce is one of a kind. Asada burrito is my favorite. Very good nachos as well. Quesadillas with meat sauce are delicious.
Best Mexican food anywhere!!
The chicken tacos and the loaded nachoss are absolutely beyond!! The enchiladas are a cheesy flavorful delight and the flour tortillas are HOMEMADE daily, they are fluffy, lite and delicious. Most definitely worth the long wait in the drive through line. The staff is polite, helpful and always welcoming!
I love Juanita's. Best fast food Mexican in town. You can literally see the ladies inside making the tortillas and the food is never a disappointment. Sometimes I order without the normal ingredients and my order has never been messed up. Highly recommend
My granddaughter came to visit. This is her favorite place to get tortillas and take them back to Ohio. I myself ordered a chile verde burrito, which was delicious.
Great food and best nachos in the area hands down.
I've loved going to Juanita's since I was a kid. Now as an adult I'll drive up from San Diego just to get some OG red pork burritos. Hopefully they expand their operation about 100 miles south.
Went here today for my first time and loved it. The manager was so nice and gave us free tacos since it was our first time. They were delicious potato tacos. There tortillas are fresh and home made. I would highly recommend this place.
My family has been coming to Juanita’s ever since I can remember. No other bean and cheese burrito comes close to the delicacy that is prepared here. Tacos always smack as well. Nothing completes a meal like an orange whip. Mmmmmm mmmmmm. Can’t wait to go back.
If you've never been to Juanitas, you're missing out big time! They've been serving up their famous shredded beef tacos for decades, and they're absolutely delicious! The chile verde plate is amazing, and so is their rice and beans.
Great burritos. I added sour cream as mine seemed dry, but I don't eat hot sauce, so not their fault. The pork rice beans and cheese were yummy! Good service, friendly, small so minimal table space, but there was also outdoor seating. Great food!
One of the first places I visit when I’m back in town. Consistently perfect. MBC burrito hasn’t changed a bit (except the price). I’ve eaten at all locations and the taste is very well dialed in. If you’re going to eat Mexican food in the IE, this is where you need to go.
This was my first time at this location. I usually frequent the location on 4th Street. It is a sit outside and eat location With this heat whew! I needed to sit inside somewhere. All was good however air wasn't working too well which is why it's a 3 star on the atmosphere. Go check it out.. home-made tortillas are the best
My all-time favorite hole-in-the-wall taco and burrito place. The quality of food and service went down a lot during the pandemic, but both are back up and this place is delicious! Especially the red hot sauce. It's drive thru only right now so be prepared for a line at lunch. But it's well worth the wait. While their burritos and taquitos are amazing, when it doubt, the tacos can't be topped.
I love this place. their hot sauce is so good if they sell it in bottles i would buy it. I like that they carne asada does not have a lot of fat on it, Other mexican restaurant's have big chunks of fat on they carne asada. They are not stingy with they're meats, they give you loads of it. Their Burritos are big with loads of meat.
This has been a favorite Mexican food place of mine for years! Homemade tortillas, shredded beef tacos and their salsa is to good. The burritos are well worth the money and they are huge and packed full of meat and rice and beans. They have been around a long time, and have a great reputation for fresh food made fast. A must stop if your in the area of several of their locations!
Been eating here for years and it is the best place on earth!!! Since I was a child the taste of the burritos are so delicious how I remember as a child is exactly the same to this day!!!! No place on earth is as amazing as this place!!!! If you want amazing MEXICAN food homemade tortillas perfectly seasoned food homemade rice and beans this is the place to go to!!!! Love Juanita's burritos
Shredded beef tacos never miss, the red suace is awesome.. you can taste the quality ingredients...
Juanita’s has stepped up their game recently. Food was delicious.
Food always awesome was little bummed the red sauce lost its spice but still cant give it less than 5 stars.
Always a joy eating at Juanita's, the best red pork burritos I have had and I tried them all. Salsa is amazing and the chips and salsa are very addictive. Can't wait to go back..
Bomb.com here at least once per week. Shredded beef tacos, the bomb
Homemade tortillas make for awesome burritos! The Juanitas crew are very sharp and have my order waiting for me when I arrive. Would highly recommend you give them a try. About once a week I start jonesing for some of their great food
If you like the place in 4th street but are craving food food on a Monday, come here. They are run by the same owner but now his son runs this one. I'll be honest, when it just opened it was not the best, but now it taste the same! Whatever they did, thank you. And they are always so nice here. If you never been, take my word, try the nachos! Then go back and try the burritos, then go back and try the tacos. Or try them all at once.
If you haven't been here before, you're missing out. One of the very few Mexican spots that still make their flower tortillas by hand. They have always had a rich flavor in their sauces that will leave you wanting more. Their burritos are big and will leave your belly filled and happy.
Juanita’s is reasonably priced and serves a very good selection of Mexican Fast food. Although this is Juanita’s III there are a couple of other Juanita’s in the area. I remember going to Juanita’s in Ontario in the early 80’s and the selection at Juanita’s III still tastes as it did at the Ontario location did back then. There are two items on the menu that people probably overlook but are an excellent choice. The chili relleno’s are better than most sit down restaurants and are a good item to treat yourself to. They offer fresh flour tortillas which are made throughout the day and the tortilla by itself is a great choice. The shredded beef taco’s are excellent and they are not shy with the amount of shredded cheese they put on them. I like the burritos as well. If you like the bottled CocaCola from Mexico they sell that here as well. Finally the ice in the cokes is the soft ice and good to munch on after you finish your drink.
Open for drive-thru during C-19, moves fairly quickly. Wish they were open later, closes at 8p. Food is good, friendly staff. Tortillas are fresh. All meat burrito rocks. Tacos, potatoe tacos, taquitos and sauces are great.
Big burritos, If you are going to have one for lunch I would suggest that you do not force yourself to finish all of it. By the time you get off work drive home in traffic and arrive home 🏡 to your partner 's home cooked meal. You might be to full of burritos to eat the food your loved one just spent time on making for you, and that's not a fun situation.
Went thru drive thru. White girl had A bad attitude. Forgot to give our drinks and got mad at us for waiting for them. My suggestion is take her out of the window with the rudeness she showed. Ordered an all meat burrito they still put rice and beans in it. The taco plate, chicken, beans a little bland today otherwise good food.
Very disappointed, ventured out in the rain because I was craving their burrito with handmade tortilla. When I got home I unwrapped my burrito and immediately noticed tortilla not the same. Tasted it and confirmed it is a cheap store bought tortilla. Very disappointing. Been eating at Juanitas since 80s, and even waited in hour long lines when Rancho Opened. Please bring back homemade tortillas. That's what made you special.
Great food. Is this place related to the Patty’s in Claremont? They taste the same. Fairly cheap. My families favorite whole in the wall Mexican food in Rancho. Only downsides are closed on Sundays, closes early, and can have a long slow drive thru.
Been one of my favorite places for years. The food seems to not really changed much and is delicious. Only sad part found out was there awesome hot sauce is now 10 cents each for extra one. I guess people abused asking for more or something. Still not bad though.
We go here often. The food is great, the service friendly if not that great. Always check your sauces. Always. Always check if your chicken taquitos are indeed not beef!? Still, we go back. The foods great. The drive can get busy around dinner time but moves along. Order a few extra HOMEMADE flour tortillas. I Love bread, obviously. So good! Extra charge for Avocado (not green) sauce is worth it. Now I'm hungry again :/
The original one is Pomona is still my favorite but this one is very good as well. The tacos(shredded beef) are literally addictive and they're huge! Also piled with cheese. Heavenly... And they're still only a couple bucks each. I usually order a few tacos and a BRC burrito for later. The red salsa they have is literally my favorite salsa 😂 not for the heat since it's really not hot but it just tastes so good with their food. This is a spot I can never live too far away from so I'm glad they have like 4 locations that I know of. The service is professional. The prices are fair for all the good you get and the quality of the food doesn't differ much from each restaurant. The taste is pretty consistent at each one. Def a favorite of mine for at least 20 years.
I have been a Juanits's customer since the late 80's. They have consistently always have had great menu with delicious selections. We don't go often but when we do it is always a treat ! Thanks for the continued service and quality..
The homemade tortillas are worth the trip alone. To be honest I only have ever gotten the bean and cheese burrito here. They are so good that I haven’t tried anything else. I’m afraid I may miss out if I do and be disappointed I didn’t get a bean a cheese burrito lol. The red sauce is good as well. My only knock is that the burritos sometimes are not hot enough to melt the cheese. To be fair they do put a ton of cheese in the burrito so I can’t complain too much. The staff is always very friendly and never stingy with as many hot sauces as you want.
Three and a half stars would have been probably been four if I didn't know what it was supposed to be like. Juanita's on 4th is almost always 5 stars... We always try to stop by when we visit home. They were closed so we visited the Rancho location. The flavors are the same but the ratios were off. My just shy of $8 MRC burrito was mostly rice with a small amount of meat. My husbands MBRC burrito was very heavy with beans. The Facebook page for the Ontario location posted about higher prices due to meat/beef prices being up, so that was expected but the small spoonful of meat was a surprise. I'm honestly not sure if this is a location problem or because of meat prices, but if it's the latter you need to lower the prices on what was essentially a giant rice (or bean) burrito. Also, part of the love of Juanita's is that is not like eating just any fast food, it's homemade, it's mama made, but yesterday's burrito was put together like a taco bell burrito... If mama made that I would have thought she was mad at me. One end was all cheese then mostly rice for the middle and the "end", the last two inches, was a decent mix of ingredients. Taste is amazing as always. Been going to Juanita's (ONT) for close to 40 years and will continue, Rancho is a good back up but even though it's closer to where we stay when we visit, it will get passed by on our way to 4th Street.
Such disappointment! The food here is amazing. The 3 stars is because we drove an hour on Saturday to eat here. The hours say they close at 7pm, we got there at 5:07 and we’re told they close at 5. Management please change your hours.
The staff was friendly , chips were so tasty 😋, delicious but a lil salty . Huge burritos which fell apart trying to eat , although great tasting , the prices were higher than stated on menu . Need to change this . First time at this one
This is my kids favorite place for bean and cheese burritos. I feel like the quality has gone down over the years and the prices have gone up. The kids are satisfied and they don't know the difference. They have changed their hot sauce packets from little plastic containers to these leaky plastic pouches. I'm not sure the exact reason for the change. I'm sure it must have been a good one, but the pouches leaked all over. By the time I got home I had a little bit of a sauce mess in the bag and on the burritos.
Been going to all 3 places for over 20 years. Appears to be changing in level of food, in last few months. One staff said something about family issues. I hope food gets back to the top notch it had been. I love this place. And make the 30 mile drive 4x a month just for the burritos.
Food isnt what it use to be. .my Burrito was all Tortilla and Soggy. Chips And Salsa. Salsa was all Water Down Not thick Like it use to be. .
Closes at 7 pm on a Fri/ Sat? Tacos are too small to charging almost $5. Drastically reduce the price and you could triple your sales volume. Closed at 7 pm while taco bell line 13 cars deep.
The tacos was good. The rice and bean wasn't that good. The price was little high. The service was okay. It was no line there to wait. Tables and chairs are dirty. The neighborhood is good. They need more parking place there. Not too hard to find. The one in Ontario have better rice and beans there.💳💰🍴🍳
The food is horrible and I'll never go back again. The service was not all that great neither.
Shredded beef tacos were amazing!!! We also, wanted to try the Chili Verde Burrito and Chili Relleno Burrito and they tasted like they were from yesterday. Beans and Tortillas were good, just couldn't handle the pork tasting the way it did or the Chili Relleno.
This place used to be just like the one down on 4th street. Something changed. The last 3 times I have gone their food is different. I used to get the Red Pork & Cheese burrito and it was always so good, the last few times it has been just pork & cheese no red to it there was no sauce. Their hot sauce is also different now. So not sure if they sold or if some family member decided to try a different recipe but something is off. I have spoken to a few others who loved it and they said the same. So Rancho Juanitas, if you decided to play around with the Red pork, change it back, if you decided to play around with the hot sauce change it back. So disappointed. I gave it 3 tries just in case they had a off day and all 3 times no bueno.
Waited in drive thru for 28 minutes. Employee was outside taking orders. Ordered by burrito with green sauce. Employee asked inside or outside for the green sauce. I said I side. So l get to the window and I asked the cashier if they put the green sauce inside. She said we don't have green sauce. I was very disappointed because l don't anything with tomatoes in it. Thanks for nothing.
I have been coming to Juanita's since I was a freshman in high school which is about 21 years ago I went to the original one off San Bernardino and Indian Hill. This one specifically has great food. But and I mean but they are absolutely very very rude they are never nice they always treat you like you're bothering them they never smile they always act like they're in a bad mood. I only come here because the food is good. But for whatever reason they are never nice here they're very mean just the other day they asked me and my niece to leave because they closed at 7:00 and it was 7:15. I got there at 6:45 and didn't get my food until about 6:55 while I was eating it he came up to me and asked me to leave He said they are closed. Before I ordered I asked him if it was going to be okay to eat there. This is not the first time I walked out of there feeling like they were mean this happens religiously. I never leave bad reviews especially at the food is amazing which it is. but as for customer service and friendliness they are a negative 10. it breaks my heart because I tell people to come here since they are the best food in town. It's not like they're mean like the soup Nazi in Seinfeld. They're just cold and act like they don't want to be there. I wish their customer service friendliness and overall kindness were to match their food because this place could be truly amazing. I honestly hate patronizing this place because their food is so good. But they are mean mean mean never have I once ever seen someone smile behind the counter I understand they're all family but for whatever reason they are mean as hell.... I watched them interact with other customers and I saw them treat a senior citizen couple as if they were second-class citizens. This is truly a catch-22 because I hate coming here because they're mean. But I love getting the food from here. These people are honest to God the meanest group of people I've ever met. I hate to say it because I always come back but they need an attitude adjustment they are truly truly jerks..... Trust me when I tell you you will love their food, but I guarantee you you will feel the same way they act this way towards every single customer I don't know how they are still in business, I guess it's because the food is great so it doesn't matter how you treat your customers.
Used to be so much better. I'm not sure if they're short staffed or what is going on but unfortunately they've gone totally down hill! David & Tina, what's going on?!? The drive thru wait is 30-40 mins now and it didn't used to be like this! The burritos are smaller and not as tasty as they used to be. It makes me so sad because we've been eating juanitas my entire life. Must step up the service here!!!
It USED TO be good here. Came here for the first time in a while and it looks like they raised the prices of the burritos and changed the quality of the carne asada (not in a good way).
10/03/2025 .. I understand California's pricing has gone wild but OMG, I got 12 tacos and 1 quesadilla with 2 small drinks = $70.00 .. its outrageous and will not be coming back 😒 food was ok flavor wise
Great burritos.... if they are open. We love the food here, but on multiple occasions we have shown up during business hours during the middle of the day and they turn out to be closed. Their hours and days open are sporadic and not posted. They also close early (7:00 pm). But if they happen to be open the food is good. Hopefully they become more consistent in their days and hours open.
$13 burrito had 4 pieces of meat. It was all unflavored rice with beans Rude service with poorly made burritos
Quality and service have taken a downward spiral. The regular cheese nachos barely cover the bottom of the container amd have increased in price..the workers do not care or try to be pleasant and helpful (from the drive thru) This visit was the third bad experience in a row so will give this place a wide berth. My order was a regular nacho with so few chips I stared in disbelief ...and over 5$ ..
I ordered the chilaquiles with salsa roja, which comes with rice and beans and eggs. I asked for over hard eggs and i got over easy. The food is plain tasteless. The tortillas are stale and taste sour as if the frying oil has been recycled. Will not come back.
I used to come here twice a week for the asada burrito but the last two times the lady working the front counter has chewed out the staff in front of all the customers. She really yelled at another coworker "IF YOU ARE SICK THEN WHY DID YOU EVEN CLOCK IN?!" right in the front as I'm waiting for my burrito. I didn't go for two months after that because I said I would never eat there again. I couldn't take it any longer so I went back on Monday. The same lady was there bickering that someone did organize the cups properly LOL. I am not going back for good this time. And if the manager reads this- YOU and your extreme lack of professionalism are the reason I am not going back, not because of the way the cups were organized!!! 😂. Asada burrito is A+, manager lady is F-. I'll try the other locations if I am ever over there
I was in the mood for some good Mexican food. I've passed by and always see a line so I wanted to see what the commotion was about. My husband and I went inside to order our food to bypass the drive-thru line. We ordered a carne asada burrito and a dinner plate with a Chile relleno, a hard taco filled with shredded beef and a side of beans and rice. I was anticipating authentic Mexican food but I was wrong. My chile relleno didnt have the red sauce I was hoping for. The hard shell taco was so so. Then by husband's burrito tasted like the meat was from a can mixed with rice and beans topped with tons of cheese in a hard "homemade" tortilla. The service was okay, they had a new guy in the front (first day). It didnt seem like they wanted to train him correctly and just threw in the fire hoping he will survive. Nice guy. Overall, the food is was not good with no flavor.
Sat in the drive through for over 30 minutes for cold food and undercooked rice in the burritos. Carne asada fries had barely any Carne asada and lots of ground beef. Won't be going back.
I’ve been here a few times and I have given this place many chances. Their customer service is average, nothing too out of the ordinary. I don’t know how this place has good reviews. The food has no flavor and it is an embarrassment to even call this Mexican food. I would rather make a drive for some authentic Mexican food because this place is a joke.
This place is unforgivably bad. The burrito was about 50% tortilla, which was weird bland, and powdery. 20% inedible chunks of tendon that should have been trimmed. 30% tasteless beans and rice. I've never not enjoyed a burrito until today. I've had burritos that were better and worse than other burritos, but this was the first burrito I would call bad
Over charging!!! Person at the drive up window was charging more then the drive up posted menu prices. I asked why she was charging more then the posted price, they said they did not have time to change the prices on the menu board. I let them keep their overpriced Burrito. Maybe the employee was pocketing the extra amount. Sad for the owner, good way to lose customers. Response: It was a few months ago. The overcharge was almost double the price on the menu board. I remembers saying I only ordered one burrito not two when I was told the price.
Been going to Juanitas since the first one opened in Pomona. I have never had a bad meal until today. I got home with my drive thru order and discovered my taco shells were burnt. I thought if I called I would just let the manager know so they could make sure it was corrected on future orders for that day. I didn’t expect my money back until the manager was dismissive of my complaint. Try to do better. I wasn’t going to drive 4 miles back and waste my gas and wait another 30 minutes in line. Try to correct problems don’t make it work on the customer.
Customer service pretty bad lately. Went there last week. Waited at the drive through menu for someone to take my order for a very long time. I was the only person there and the wait time was almost 10 minutes before I was helped. Drove up to the window to pay for my food. Guy inside wearing a dirty wrinkled shirt took my money then dropped my hot sauce on the floor. He then picked the hot sauce off the floor and put in my bag. I asked him if he dropped my hot sauce, he said "oh yeah", no apology, but then replaced the hot sauce. He then took what food was in the bag, and disappeared behind the drive up window, came back in a few minutes and gave me my food without saying anything. Needless to say, I threw the food in the garbage and went next door to taco bell. BTW, I have been going to Juanita's for over 38 years. I use to go to one on Indian Hill in Pomona, then the one on 4th Street and now in Rancho Cucamonga. Their tacos and hot sauce are what keeps me coming back. Having said this, for the price they charge for food (its expensive), their customer service will need to improve before I go back.
This place is freaking disgusting. I should’ve known better than to think I can get good Mexican food in Rancho Cucamonga. Ontario location is way better than this. Greasy and messy.
Very disappointed. I waited for my beef, bean, rice, and cheese burrito for 25 minutes. I almost choked on the beef it was so burnt. Hardly any b,r,c. tortilla was burnt. I feel like throwing up. They will not answer their phone. Not worth $10.00!!!
My wife and I have been enjoying Juanitas food for a few years now. The past seven months have been very disappointing. From changing the food like the beans and using smelly Olives and loosing all the great magic of the nachos. The Meats have been flavorless or dry. And now to the at times rude and very disrespectful staff(most of the time). We order $32 plus in food and can't get napkins or utensils. So much has changed at the location we are done. Unless we find out things have changed we have placed our last order on 06/01/2021. We have given juanitas the benefit of the doubt and sadly no more.
I tried to be less critical on this visit. During this visit, it left me highly disappointed once again. Even though I had resigned myself to liking their tacos before. I don't know what they did different to make me absolutely dislike (hate) I will not go back even for tacos. The meat was not good quality and had pieces of cartridge. Yuck! Juanita's lll.....go back to number l. Maybe you left the good recipe behind.👎
This place is about as cheap as they come. We buy 3 orders of enchiladas. Close to $30.00 in total. Go to the park to eat and wouldn't you know. No utensils or napkins. Call up to ask why and was told these are items to request. Really!!! Well never go there again!!!
I don’t understand why this place has “any” good reviews. I was craving nachos and instead of going to my usual place Al****os, I figured I’d give this place a try. 1. Food was cold 2. Food was very bland and had absolutely no flavor 3. Salsa was disgusting was more like tomato paste with a kick of paprika. 4. Was it supposed to include guacamole? Nope didn’t find any in it 5. The shredded beef must have been boiled because it was dry and tasteless. 6. $9.50 plus tax!!! Really? 7. Service needs to improve. How about greet a customer with a smile? What a waste of my hard earned money. You are better off going to Del Taco or Taco Bell across the street!!
I have been going to juanitas on 4th in Ontario for years. I recently started going to their Rancho Cucamonga location. This was my last time I ordered again the same as always a Chile verde burrito. The tortilla was horrible compared to their Ontario location. It’s the tortilla, very thin and my burrito was bad. When the tortilla is made right doesn’t matter what you put in it. Thin tortillas are as bad as store bought. Juanitas I gave you a chance the last four times but no more. And I won’t even mention the attitude.
We have been going to Juanitas Ontario for years. Since the Rancho store came in, we started coming here. The past year the burritos have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. Yesterday was the first and last time we will be going. I ordered 2 burritos. They weren't wrapped good at all and were the size of a small del taco burrito. I couldnt believe it. $12 for 2 burritos and they were INSANELY TINY!!! never will I go there again. Not to mention each car waited about 5-7 minutes each for their food. I almost wanted to drive back and return them.
I usually love this place, however, today not good. Drove up to drive thru waited couple of minutes, no problem. Just as started to place order the girl as me to hold. I waited 10 minutes, didn't come back. I parked walked inside, waited another 10 minutes. As I watched her give customer at window wrong order. Customer inside told no salsa. The tattooed girl ask me for order, again started to give order and she then again asked me to wait. I understand can be busy, but both in drive through and inside 1 customer ahead of me. I had to leave without placing an order, maybe next will be better.
I used to live it here(haven’t been in over 4 years) I got in line at the drive through at about 6:40, I watched 2 employees in the lobby watching the line like we were supposed to just leave instead of actually assisting guests. My order was taken at 7:00pm, got home at about 7:30 ate & by 9:30 I was throwing it all up. I appreciate that they took all the orders in the drive through. It’s much appreciated a business really just doing their job(sarcasm) I’m not sure if corners were cut, because they waited so long to start actually taking orders? But I’m definitely going to be returning.
We ordered 2 burritos beans and rice taste like they were soaked in water no taste what so ever. Customer service was poor the young lady behind the counter looked like we were bothering her. I'll take the extra drive and go to the one in Ontario. People are more pleasant down there and the food taste better.
I don't mind paying $12.00 for burrito if the tortillas are home made, and the pork meat in red sauce is throughout; but the tortillas not home made, I got through half the bean and cheese burrito before I hit meat and rice! Take the time to go to the 4th St. Location Ontario; You'll find a burrito just like Juanita used to do it at the Indian Hill location back in the day! 🤤
I’ve been eating Juanita’s on 4th st since I was a little girl & it USE to be the best thing ever HOWEVER NOT ANYMORE I started coming to the one in Rancho because I heard it was better & it was for a little I came today & it was so cold the cheese wasn’t even melted 🤢🤮 & they have the nerve to up the prices that is ridiculous!!!!!!! If you’re going to up the prices it better taste delicious & not freakin cold!!!!!! Not only is it disappointing but sad!
This used to be so good! Haven’t been in about 8 years and i was in town and craved a burrito. The price is insane and the food had no flavor. Got a chile relleno burrito and a shredded beef taco and it came out to 18.00. I can deal with that if it’s good food but it was so bad. Idk what happened to this place
I love this place grew up going to the one on fourth st in ontario this one is closer and just as good or better. Bonus there flour tortillas are some of the best made on the spot as you order. This was how I felt about a year ago the food was so good and crave worthy however recently my food has been cold tasteless and bland, I also got a bad batch of sauce, I am so disappointed in my past few experiences and hope things get better. But for now I have to give a 1 star review. I am willing to try one more time in the future and hopefully get the Juanitas I once loved.
Lousy service. They prioritize drive thru orders than dine in customers. We waited for a long time for our order while drive thru orders were going out even though other orders were so much later than ours. We had asked for no.olives on our order but it came with a lot of olives. We had to keep going back to ask for our drinks, then our food. Even asked for our table to be cleaned which took quite a while. Worst experience ever, will.never return nor recommend to anyone! Very disappointed with their lack of service!
Used to like this place a long time ago, had the nachos and a burrito recently, the meat was extremely peppery( so much that I could see black flakes everywhere) and kinda smelled like wet dog food. ..
My family has always loved Juanita's both in Ontario and Rancho. In the past year the quality and consistency of the food has taken a big dive. If you love a certain burrito, you want it made the exact same way every time, and lately, that is not the case. Too bad because there are other places.
Rancho location is now trash. Shredded beef taco was SO SALTY it was disgusting, the it out after 3 bites. Cheese on tacos was equally salty. Red salsa is also tasting differently, not good. Green salsa tasted like tomatillo paste, again, not good. Ontario location was always a little better, so I'll give them another shot, but if this is the new menu for all locations, it sucks. ETA: I went today 2/25... no thanks... will just go to ontario.
I went through the drive-through and the menu and speaker is from the 1970s. The menu is not updated and the prices are from the 80s. It says an enchilada and taco plate for $7.84 and then you pull up at $17 So I was there a couple of days ago and they didn’t have beans they didn’t have chili relleno They told me that they had to run out of food or they had to toss it out because the power had gone out that was such Baloney The problem is that restaurant is not being run properly. How can you be open when you don’t have food to sell and the menu Still features items on there that they haven’t had in 10 years according to the person that took my order. The portions are so small I was shocked. It’s better to Avoid this place I will never go back and believe me I have been to every drive-through in Rancho. Juanita please You can’t keep operating like this. I feel ashamed for spending $17 on a taco goal and an enchilada plate which was Acceptable for a seven-year-old. What’s $17 I could’ve fed four people nicely with big portions.
So disappointing today. Me and my family usually look forward to going to Juanita’s III here in Rancho Cucamonga. I remember having pregnancy craving for their burritos😢. But today was not the usual experience I have grown to be accustomed to. They got my order wrong 2x. The first time, I decided to go back and was giving them the benefit of doubt in my head because it doesn’t usually happen. But twice in the span of like 30 mins! And it was the same mistake. I ordered a number 14 chile relleno burrito with meat, with pork in red sauce to be exact. And both times, both burritos, there was no meat!! It really left a sour taste in our family’s mouth and one of us couldn’t sit back and enjoy dinner like we were suppose to. So sad, not coming back anytime soon.
Tonight we went to Pepe"s and the cars in the drive thru wrapped around the parking lot, we were tired from a long week of work and decided not to wait, and against my better judgment went to Juanitas. What a HUGE mistake. I ordered a shredded beef burrito and he ordered a cheese enchilada plate. We get home and instead of shredded beef my burrito had carne asada my husband's enchiladas were rolled up tortillas with cheese over the top of them the cheese was hard in some spots in the center was rubbery. We did not even finish eating the food it was so awful which explains why there was no line there at all definitely not the Juanita's from 20 years ago in Ontario. We will never go there again.
It’s not what it used to be. How does it take so long to bring out my order, only for it to arrive cold? All I ordered was a couple of asada tacos, and they were disappointing. On top of that, the server had an attitude. Definitely not the experience I expected.
First and last time trying this place. I ordered chicken tacos, carne asada quesidilla and chips and salsa. Everything was bad except the quesidilla which was saved by the tortilla. Tacos were cold and mostly cheese when I waited in the drive thru for at least 10 minutes chips were burnt. The green salsa tasted rotten like it had gone bad. Horrible experience great customer service.
AVOID IF YOU HAVE A SEAFOOD ALLERGY! I ordered carne sada fries and for some reason it reeked like fish or shrimp, a super strong seafood smell. I absolutely despise seafood and could not force myself to eat more than roughly 25%. I brought it up to my wife and she said hers smelt and tasted fishy too, She loves seafood so it didn't bother her, but I do not. They 100% had to have cooked and prepared my food on the exact same surface as seafood without cleaning it first. I will not be ordering from here again if they cut corners like that. That could have been a life threatening risk if I was allergic to seafood.
