Legends Burgers Rancho Cucamonga Reviews
The food here is really good and classic American flavors. The portions are big!! I usually get the chicken strips kids meal and it's enough for 1 adult. I also LOVE their tuna melt! Their ranch is a homemade buttermilk and it's the best. I also love getting a chocolate shake and an order of fries (which come in a good size box) and dipping the fries in the shake 😋😋😋
I visited the area for a soccer tournament and came across this location. The food was great, and the inside atmosphere was great, hope to come back again soon
Bomb shakes , burgers aand over seasoned fries ...extra lettuce and pickles and they actually served my order up as i ordered
The grilled chicken breast salad here was AMAZING! The best salad I've ever had, bar non. Before I left from being on vacation I purchased 3 more grilled chicken breast salads. One for my fiance, 1 for my mom, and one for myself. My mom said she didn't want her salad so I put it in the refrigerator. I ate mine and LOVED it! The next morning I asked my mom if I could have her salad since she didn't eat it. She told me I could have some of it and to bring her the rest. I warmed the chicken up and gave her, her portion which was still a lot. I later asked her how it was and she said it was REALLY good. I would recommend this place to anyone. Although that's the only thing I've tried they have a variety of different meals. My fiance said everything she's had from Legend's Burgers is great!!! Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.
Eating at Legens is great experience. I'm allergic to onions, but I love their onion rings. i found out i can eat if cooked a little more brown i ask and they cook them the way I like. 😀
Great food and the portions are huge
I am hooked on their fried zucchini with ranch dressing! Many other items on the menu are really good. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This American diner fast food drive-thru is a gem! The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean, with a nostalgic 50’s vibe that makes every visit special. The food is quite good, and the convenience of the drive-thru makes it a perfect choice for busy days when we don’t have time to cook. It's a quick and easy way to get a delicious dinner on the go. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tasty and convenient meal with a touch of vintage charm!
Food was great! Cheeseburger was so good and I got a chili cheese dog, chili sauce it sooooooooo good. Def coming back
I love this place! The food is superb. I get the gyros everytime and I love them. The taztziki sauce is delicious. If you order a large fry it is big enough for 2 adults and an 8 year old to share. We love looking around the room at all the license plates and we make a game out of it. This place is definitely worth the stop.
Five star on the food, but the customer service could use a little help when it comes to the lady at the speaker. I realize that a busy restaurant it’s important to work in an expeditious manner but it’s also polite to pay attention. We frequent legends, and there have been a few times that there were mistakes on our order simply because we feel that the people are rushing. Not per se, the cooks. The food is definitely fabulous, but whoever is working, the loudspeaker could use a gentle reminder that the customers are the reason why the bills get paid. Love you legends, Rancho Cucamonga!
They make one of the best Pastrami Sandwiches. I tried to make one here in Texas. It did not taste the same, but sometimes you got to take one for the team. I ate the one I made Everytime I go to Cali. I stop and eat a Pastrami.
Hamburgers are delicious. I love the fried mushrooms and homemade ranch. Always so friendly. Great service.
Enjoyed the Legend's burger and sampler plate!💥😋 good food, great service and we love the background music! Keep up the good work!
I love the fact that they have breakfast burritos all day! We always go here for the breakfast burritos more than anything. Oh and if you order fries it's huge order and enough to share. I don't eat onion rings but my family members that do say that they are really good. I also like the BLT with avocado. Good bacon not the paper thin stuff.
Came here for the first time with my brother. Service was fast and nice, food was very good the chili fries are fire. Some of the best ranch from any fast food place ever! Will definitely be returning
Love love this place. Have been coming to this location since it opened. Having moved away, it's a rare treat that we get to stop here. Food is always amazing and fresh. My personal favorite is their bacon and egg breakfast sandwich in sourdough. Their salads are also amazing! 10 out of 10 recommend.
Amazing food especially the double cheese for $5
I love the chili cheese fries here!! One of my personal favorite spots
Best burger I have ever had! Very tasty!
I've been coming here for MANY years! It's always been such a treat to eat here. Large portions, always fast, and always delicious!! I almost always get the Chili Cheese Fries, but everything is amazing. Pastrami Sandwiches and their enormous salads are also top tier. Lots of good memories made here.
The Greek salad and dressing are the best. Chili fries, yum!
Omg their egg and ham omelet is amazing...so much food i was in heaven
The portions are NUTZ!! One carne asada burrito could feed a small village. The pastrami sandwich alone changed the gravitational pull by a wrap factor of 2. The sampler should be called massive things of all things. Oh, and it all tastes great!!! Nice job over there, I drive everywhere across the USA and nobody matches the portion size.
Gotta love the classic diner vibe. Staff is friendly, the plac now nice and clean and the food is delicious. My favorite is the carne asada burrito.
My wife and I have been going to this Legends since the beginning of our relationship in 2011. The food has always been great. We introduced our son to this place since he was 7 months. We just celebrated his 5th birthday in February 2026 at Legends. We invited a lot of people, and first time goers were extremely satisfied with their food and the oldies theme provided. I've had most of their burgers and sandwiches. Overall, the best item is their Legends Chili Cheese Fries. I would always recommend that item to those who have not visited. Unfortunately, due to my current health I'm supposed to follow a strict diet. So I ordered both the Garden Burger AND their Avocado sandwich. Both were delicious and filling. I can't wait to go back soon to try their Chicken Breast Salad and Vegetarian Burrito.
Love the food here. Such an iconic place. Must dine in and enjoy the atmosphere.
Stopped here on our way home to Las Vegas. The atmosphere was friendly and it appeared to be a neighborhood favorite as people showed up ordering their favorite combo. My family enjoyed burger, breakfast burrito, gyro and fries. The meals were large and fulfilling. Fries were plentiful. We shared a banana split which could have fed a village. (A little exaggeration) but we were super satisfied with the food and even more satisfied by the attentiveness and kidness of the team members. Thank you!
I usually visit Legends for the Legends Sampler because the wife likes it so much. Today, January 15, 2026, my wife wanted a pastrami sandwich from Legends. Quick and friendly drive-thru service, and thw wife loved the pastrami and could only eat half. I had the chrizo and egg breakfast burrito. Nice, meaty chorizo, that didnt get the tortilla soggy! Great food!
All the guys working there have great customer service, even our server was okay with taking photos of us. The food was so good and they really hookup the fries with the combos, we had to take them to go there were so many. We will be going back to this location again soon for sure.
i recommend for dates and family it was very great i almost say this is better then in-n-out the food is amazing the burgers are pretty big i remember that back then it was bigger but still really good burgers and french fries. A lot of people don't come i would a hundred percent recommend.
We got our kicks on Rout 66! What a treat to find this place! Great HUGE menu with classic hop shop faves, great mexican food and Gyros? Yes! Spicy carrots were a treat and amazing fries. My burger was big yum, and notably people of all ages enjoying chill hop vibes together! I have been been spreading the word as a great place for a week now!
finally tried Legends after hearing about it for years, and it lived up to the hype! I ordered the cheeseburger combo, and the portion size was so generous I could barely finish it. The burger was packed with fresh toppings, and the seasoned fries were out of this world. The service was fast and friendly, and it's clear they take pride in their food. I can't wait to go back and try one of their milkshakes next. The retro 50s diner vibe, with the vintage decor and classic music, just adds to the whole experience. It's more than a meal; it's a nostalgic trip.
I went here after my exam at the prometric center. The chocolate ice cream is definitely worth trying after a long, hard exam. The server is nice, and there is a good ambiance. Just sit there eating my ice cream, which took 30 minutes to finish with aggressive licking. Love the place
Location is in a good and safe place in Rancho. The venue itself is nice, has an awesome classic vibe and the music they play are awesome classics. It also super clean both inside and outside dining. The servers are good and fast considering we dined in at 12 noon. Granted there were not a lot of people dining in (like 5 total). They even served our food to our table which was unexpected. Good unexpected. The staff were nice as well. Definitely coming back
When in California, I always stop at Legends Burgers. This place is absolutely pretty. It's theme of the 50's and 60's makes the place very enchanting. The ambiance is super cool and just looking around is fun. Pictures of Elvis Presley and James Dean, license plates of all kinds, front bumpers, airplanes, and tricycles hanging from the ceiling, traffic lights and street signs between tables. You will enjoy the decorations and style. The bacon avocado cheeseburger is delicious!!! I usually just order the sandwich, but my hubby likes the combo, whose French fries are crispy and delicious. I am not a burger person, but these hamburgers are a must-have. I have looked for this place in other cities, but to my surprise, they only have Legends Burgers in this area of California.
Must go to! Great food, great price for the portions, ambiance is amazing, a true classic restaurant. It lives up to it's name with legends in Hollywood plastered all over the restaurant. Famous faces like: Marylin Monroe, Elvis Presley, Lucy and Ricky and many more. There are street names through the pathways and tons of license plates from all states with a particular attention placed on historic Route 66. I ordered the Avocado Burger with swiss cheese and it was amazing. Lots of avocado and a tasty patty.

Good times, burgers, fries, classic cars and good old fashion American music. No complaints on food or service. They surely take good care of your taste buds.
Great burgers, burritos, breakfast choices and sandwiches for sure, but just a recommendation do not get the Fish & Chips meal. Not worth it.
We visit this Legends regularly about once a month as they have a var show with a great DJ. Love that they make shakes and malts. All the food is very plentiful. I recommend the Classic Chili Cheese Fries that come with Pastrami. A single order is enough for 2-4 people.
45 minutes before closing my daughter and I were the last customers. The employees started cleaning around us and kept looking around the corner to see if we were still there making us feel like we had to wrap it up and leave. Kinda sucked.
The food was excellent. Large portions. If you have a toddler the kids meal is large enough for two😉 I enjoyed a Greek salad it was wonderful full of mushrooms, avocado and other veggies. The Greek dressing was deliciousness. The BLT+avocado was yummy and large. A good meal all around.
I love legends. However, the other day I went in & ordered pastrami chili cheese fries + a water cup as I normally do ( I always get water in my cup ) & I’ve never seen this cashier before. Before handing me the cup the female cashier with purple hair & piercings told me “ make sure it’s water.” Like excuse me? Who are you? I told her that was completely unnecessary to say to me. I was getting water anyway. An older couple walked in & ordered their food and got water cups, they were not told to make sure they got water in their water cups. I spoke to the manager who was a nice guy. I felt heavily discriminated against. Don’t assume I’m going to do the wrong thing before you see me do the wrong thing.
Place has gotten old, but still good. Plenty of food at the cost.
If your looking for a breakfast diner off the 210 freeway this is not that far away 👍😊 five minutes south off the carnelian exit. I stopped and had there breakfast plate and wasn’t disappointed 👍the diner has lots of seats open and clean food came quick and was yummy. Give this place a try next time your in town or just passing through on your way to bear mountain or Las Vegas they have Lunch and Dinner options as well .
Cashier at counter was not friendly, did not smile, was super not understandable fast and short. Our sausages were sort of burnt and we were both shorted 1 sausage. Coffee was cold and tasted old. I used to come here with my mom allot and we used to love it pre pandemic. It's not the same anymore. It is Clean. Prices are decent. Brought my son because he's into 50s diners.
I love this 50s style dinner with a modern twist. Unfortunately, the hamburger was flavorless. I have come with a funny assessment there was restaurant food before covid and it was great after covid nit so much. The fries were great a d the service superb. I hope it was a one of. If you are in the area give this place a try.
So I've been to other Legends and typically their burgers are great however on this occasion it was okay. Staff is very friendly , and the place has a good vibe. There's lots of outdoor seating. They also have a big menu with all kinds of food. I usually get fries, which you're only going to need one order because they really pile them on > enough for two people
This establishment has the feel of an old-time diner with 1950's memorabilia on the walls and ceiling. The food is your basic American fare of burgers, fries, Patty melts, and shakes. There are chicken salads and sandwiches as well as fish & chips. Will definitely be back and try other options.
Legends Burgers is a local fast-food chain restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. They serve breakfast, burgers, gyros, burritos and more in a retro atmosphere. We visited this place on December 27, 2018. We loved the decor: it’s like 50's style restaurant with many 50's memorabilia and riding toys hanging from the ceiling. The whole atmosphere was charming. The food was tasty - big portions and the service was friendly. The price was reasonable. The place was very clean.

The burger patty was very dry and so were the buns, but the zucchini fries were tasty and crispy. Customer service was ok. The dining area is beautiful but it feels ... Empty somehow.
Is not the same place that I remember. Food has no flavor. I got the zucchinis and they had a weird taste like if the oil that they we're cooked was not clean, plus it got tooooo expensive now.. Just for 2 hamburgers 🍔 and the zucchinis was more than $40.00 ... nop
Large portions tasty some booths need attention seats sink down
i love legends and have been going here since i was a kid, as my father regularly attends the car shows. my only complaint is that some of the workers are incredibly rude about the drive through speaker and will oftentimes snap at me, despite me trying my best to be loud. other times the workers are incredibly kind and patient. i’m sure the workers are tired of it too, so i wish the owners would just get a better mic.
Overpriced! 9 dollars for a root beer freeze? Ridiculous. It takes forever to get through the drive through line. Sometimes 30 minutes or more. The food is usually good, other than soggy fries. Employees are usually friendly.
Food is decent. Good diner style food. I really like the breakfast burritos. Nothing is exceptional, but it is all what you would expect.
Legends Burgers is a local fast-food joint in Rancho Cucamonga, known for its breakfast, burgers, gyros, burritos, and more - all served in a nostalgic, retro atmosphere. I used to visit this place often before the COVID-19 pandemic, and their burgers were absolutely amazing at that time. Last Monday (October 20, 2025), I returned to this spot after a long time and had breakfast. The ambiance here is incredibly photogenic and has an awesome classic vibe and the music they play are awesome classics. This place is also super clean both inside and outside dining. I ordered a 2/3 lb. Double Cheeseburger Combo, and it cost $20.61 with tax. Their service was quick, and the woman at the counter was nice, friendly, and efficient. I got my food in just 5 minutes. The food looked tempting, but I was very disappointed after taking a bite of my Double Cheeseburger. I had heard that the quality of their burgers had dropped a lot, but I didn’t believe it at first. However, after taking a small bite, I realized it was true. The burger was bland and tasteless. The fries were alright but nothing special. While the portion size was huge, it didn’t justify the price given the food quality. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I probably won’t be coming back until I hear something really positive about improvements to their burgers!
Location:Good, Parking:Good, Service: Good, compared to similar in different: Okay, Overall: It has been a while since I have been here, but I wanted a malt and knew that they made them. I ordered two burgers and some onion rings, and to be honest, I was not impressed with the cheese burger. The patty itself was overcooked, and it just was not what I was expecting. The onoin were good, and yes, the Malt has a good taste, but again, I felt it was small compared to what I would get in its sister restaurant in Glendora. Hopefully, this was just a bad day, and I will try again. But for now, 3 stars...
The grill chicken salad was just ok I added some avocado but the avocado was awful! What kind of cook serves this avocado looking like this! Check pic!
Portions have decreased and prices increased. This used to be my favorite salad, sadly the lettuce wasn't as fresh and the size of the salad was significantly smaller. The only positive was the fri…

Legends USED to be the spot! It's been a while since we been there so, I took my kid thats been begging me to take him there for like a month. We were so disappointed. Definitely not the same. We ordered the chicken strip, chicken salad & cheese burger and of course a side of ranch. NOTHING tasted as good as it used to. They changed everything. So disappointing. We ended up throwing the whole order away, my fave used to be the ranch and fries, the ranch is disgusting now. Now I need to find a new place to kill my ranch and fry craving.
I don't understand how this place got good reviews. The fries were on the bland side, the bun was seriously stale, and the meat overcooked. The decor is cool, but that doesn't compensate for bad food. Simply stated, this place makes McDonald's look like a gourmet restaurant.
I just want to say use to like to come here good food but wow have things change took my family here yesterday and I couldn’t believe how fast the food came out like it was just pop in the microwave or warmer or something way too fast to have all been cooked right then in there also fries onion rings, zucchini mushrooms, no flavor whatsoever and was cold. Don’t understand how it was cold when it came out so fast food is not the same does not taste the same nothing like it used to be Wayover priced for the quality they give you now. Won’t be coming back and super sad cause I used to like it.
I am posting this with the hope that Legends will change their current defects. This restaurant has been a family favorite for over a decade, but due to recent changes (ownership/corporate change?), the quality of their food has gone downhill. Their fries used to be the perfect amount of grease, texture, and seasoning and now they are oddly flat with uneven seasoning and texture. The ranch dressing used to be my favorite part of the meal (almost tasted homemade), now it tastes like Hidden Valley Ranch -gross. They’ve cheapened the quality of several menu items and completely removed some others that were my favorites (BLT with avocado = yum!). Now they weirdly charge “market” rates for their pastrami selections as if it were wild caught lobster at a Michelin starred restaurant). I understand that businesses must adapt, but these more recent changes have cut into the heart of why most people go there… the quality of their food. I hope they rectify these issues so that we don’t have to go elsewhere. Service, as usual was great.
The hamburger didn't taste fresh. The fries were a little greasy. I hadn't eaten at Legends in a long time and won't anytime soon if ever.
Went thru the drive thru tonight. $63 and they forgot part of our order. We had to drive all the way back and wait 15 minutes to get the missing item. Returning home to cold food. They also started using cheap prepackaged ranch that tastes terrible. Notice they have a “B” in their window too. Looks like we’re done with Legends. Update to Owner’s reply: every “apology” you give to reviews is followed by some excuse. Others have commented on the Ranch being different, but we are all wrong, because you have someone else make it. Thanks for the reply…we won’t be back
This place is absolutely sad, came with my family after baseball and we ordered a original gyro combo, a double cheeseburger and a corn dog. The gyro while it did taste good was lacking in the meat department and the tzatziki that it came with tasted as if it was sour cream with onion powder and relish i could not find cucumber in it at all. see pic, the cheeseburger was very reminiscent of a frozen burger from a backyard bbq. The corndog well kinda hard to screw up a deep fried frozen corndog unless you dont cook it long enough and its still cold on the inside. And the big sign that says our home made ranch is back well it may be homemade but it is definitely not the original ranch that was once the shining beacon of legends burger.
I have to start by saying I love legends , BUT today they fumbled big time . My wife’s burger was dry because they forgot the sauce , then we ordered the sampler and whoever is running the fryer tonight needs to be trained , not even close to fried enough. We literally picked the order up (drive thru) and got home (2 min drive) and everything was soggy as hell and breading falling off . Bummed us out

Beginning of 2023, Legends began using poor quality ingredients. Thick, frozen, flavorless burger patties instead of the large, flat, hamburger stand patties they had always used. The chicken strips were my kids favorite, and now they refuse to eat them now that they're extra greasy and have a bad flavor. Extremely disappointed with this childhood favorite.
Nasty! I ordered fish tacos fish smelled real bad it was hard and staled. Took it back and they made a new order but tacos had nothing but burnt bread crumbs. I’m a regular customer at the legends in San Dimas but wanted to give this one a try. I definitely don’t mind the drive from now on to the one in San Dimas they never disappoint me. Their fish tacos are WAY different and quality is definitely better. The Food actually taste fresh.
Food is Good, but..... service bad, is Not the first time I go, I have had issues with my order not been right, the person taking orders at drive thru window has an attitude and the Drive thru should be faster, but is wating long specially afternoon peak hours when everyone is in rush to go back to wrk and has 1 hr to enjoy and eat something.
Well firstly they are overpriced for perspective the next day I was in Glendora buying a new car so I stopped by the Glendora legends the original and the legends chili cheese fries were 12.49 and at rancho legends there 18+ additionally the pastrami sandwich at Glendora was $11 and in rancho it was 21just the sandwich. The legends chili cheese fries at rancho well the fries were raw yuck so all in all it’s worth it to go the original Glendora legends
Even though Legends Burgers is pricey and they have cut back on their fries but not the price, I still give them 5 stars. I was disappointed the first time I noticed they are not serving the same amount of fries as before, but the value for the food compared to other fast food places is great. They have a good selection of meals and that makes it a place to frequent. Updated on 03/27/24. I have too reduce the rating because they have added a surcharge to credit paying customers and it is not disclosed until to get the receipt. They have joined the nickel and dime the consumer club, my opinion.
Love this place but got undercooked fries in my chili fries. Nothing like raw potato to remind you to save money and just cook at home. Kids' food was fine, and staff is always friendly but won't be going back anytime soon.
I have enjoyed Legends for many years of my life, but today will be the last time I go back. The past few experiences have been awful. First, the people working the window have been extremely rude. One example, I tried ordering a Cherry Coke, knowing it's Fanta Cherry and Coke mixed (Extremely common knowledge for Legends). The person working the window says "we don't have Cherry Coke" I asked "oh you ran out?" They say "no we don't serve Cherry Coke". Shocked I said "you don't have Fanta Cherry anymore?" because its such a staple. They condescendingly say "of course we have Fanta Cherry" so I said "can you mix Fanta Cherry and Coke, then?" And they reply "yea..." I turned to my wife because I felt like I had been punked. The final straw was today. I ordered a regular sized Legends Fry. Something that has always been large enough to feed two people and priced accordingly. The total comes out to $15.00 after tax. No problem, with inflation and good quality food it deserves to cost a little more. When I received my order I was instantly enraged. The normal half sized to-go box had been reduced to a side salad container. Half of what it originally was. Whoever is running this place now is ruining something great.
Last few times after 9pm food has been cold and undercooked. Grilled cheese flops while you hold it, fries are undercooked, dipped my chicken tender in what i thought was ranch to find out its some nasty garlic sauce. I couldn’t see them continuing much longer here with such bad service recently. Super disappointed. **UPDATE: I have been severely ill since 6am on the toilet. I believe I got food poisoning either from the chicken or something there. I will be making a report with the health department today. I sure hope nobody else got sick because this is awful.
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent experience at the drive-thru. I ordered a gyro chicken salad, and the employee repeated my order back to me, confirming it. However, I was given a gyro sandwich instead. It appears the gyro chicken salad may no longer be on your menu. If this is the case, I should have been informed that the item was unavailable before my order was processed. To make matters worse, when I returned the incorrect gyro sandwich (priced at $11.99), I was still charged for it. I was then charged an additional $11.99 to convert it to a salad, resulting in me being charged twice for a single item and not receiving credit for the incorrect sandwich. This was my first and unfortunately, last visit to your establishment. I had hoped to introduce my family to what I believed would be an authentic dining experience, but instead, I left feeling completely ripped off.
Gross! I don’t know if the management changed but the food definitely did! It’s awful!!! We have been going to legends for years and years but we will never go back! The dressing is disgusting, the chili cheese fries are a joke and the taste is sick… so sad we will miss the original food…. To top it off the prices are still the same and the food quality is low!!!! 80$ worth of food! What a waste….
Wow I'm disgusted. I have been coming here for years. I came on a Thursday night with a friend and we each ordered chicken tenders. We were the only customers inside the dining area and were out by 9pm. My friends chicken tenders were raw. It was all pink inside and the batter was greasy and gross. The fries were barely seasoned and pretty much flavorless. I ordered the turkey sandwich for my friend to make up for the raw chicken and they gave us a ham sandwich. A used to be reliable and worth the price restaurant turned into something gross and disheartening. It's not the same. I don't recommend coming here at all. (The plates in the picture are cleared because we were cleaning our table and stacked the plates. We couldn't finish the food.)
