Abbiamo scelto il Grand hotel Bristol per una vacanza rilassante in Liguria e siamo rimasti entusiasti. L'atmosfera è raffinata ma accogliente, mai fredda. Ogni membro del personale è stato gentilissimo, pronto ad aiutare con un sorriso. La spa è moderna, pulitissima e con un'area relax davvero rilassante. Un plauso alla colazione: abbondante, variegata e con prodotti freschissimi. Meravigliosa anche la piscina esterna con vista sulla baia. Un luogo da sogno!

Posizione da sogno, a due passi dal centro di Rapallo. Abbiamo adorato l’aperitivo al tramonto, il servizio al bar è stato eccezionale. L’intero staff è stato gentilissimo e professionale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per il livello dell’esperienza.

Hotel meraviglioso, personale giovane e molto cortese, la struttura inoltre ha una spa di altissimo livello. La colazione a buffet offre molti prodotti tipici di altissima qualità, spero di tornare.

FANTASTICO. Siamo stati lì per il nostro anniversario e devo dire che sono stati tutti molto gentili. Le camere molto pulite io avevo chiesto la vasca e mi hanno accontentato non solo con quella ma ci hanno dato anche una camera più bella e vista mare...e ad attenderci in camera un bottiglia di vino in regalo. La colazione molto fornita dal dolce al salato tutto ottimo e fresco. La spa anche quella meravigliosa ci siamo trovati davvero bene e coccolati...non potevo aspettarmi niente di più

Our stay at the Grand Bristol was relaxing and beautiful, the property made me feel like I was in a Wes Anderson movie! The rooms were clean, staff was kind and the view out of the balcony to the sea was incredible. Our stay also included access to the bathes and spa, which was gorgeous but busy, even in early October. We did not have a chance to sit by the beautiful pool due to the weather and other planned excursions, but we can't wait to come back! Thank you for adding to an unforgettable honeymoon experience!

We stayed in GHB for 3 night recently when visiting the area and the hotel was just perfect. The location is great just a short drive outside Rapallo and only 20 mins from portofino. Luckily the hotel also offer a complimentary shuttle service into Rapallo which we done a few times. The staff are super friendly and helpful and couldn't do more to make you feel welcome, especially the lovely host on breakfast she has lovely energy! The bed was super comfy the best nights sleep we've had in a long time. If we ever return to Rapallo then we most certainly will be staying at grand hotel Bristol

Wonderful experience at the Grand Hotel Bristol in September. Escaping the rain in the mountains we ended up in this classic hotel which reminded us of a time gone by. The shuttle was super practical. The people very friendly. The beach experience they offer was a complete disappointment, they should’ve not charged for that (welcome drinks missing, not well kept in shape, no service, food options etc etc) — better to go to the same bay (which is nice) but take the public path as it’s a free beach to sit, swim and enjoy. Their lido is a waste of money. The breakfast was great, super cakes etc. but the management lacks international experience. The poor chef wanted to cook something a la carte but hardly anyone ordered as that costs extra. To be clear: omelette is included, but omlette with mushrooms costs. Who comes up with such stupidity? If anyone has travel experience, they would make ONE item per day from the a la cart breakfast menu free to be ordered and the rest chargeable. Common sense! And everyone would enjoy it far more without much additional costs (if at all). The guest service relations was excellent, both representatives helped us and got things done. The tip to go to Camogli for sunset was awesome and the late checkout highly appreciated, as was the personalized service during birthday and the room upgrade. A great hotel with slight management issues on breakfast, beach club and music choices/control that could do with a good consultant on the spa area for few more innovative ideas. Sadly the chairs in the rooms (above/below) make a huge noise when being moved which kind of destroys the otherwise quiet and calm vibe of the place and can be annoying at night. But would overall recommend to anyone wanting to have a good time near Portofino.

The hotel is a short walk out of town along scenic but winding roads and pathways, and the uphill climb to the reception can be daunting. Lifts are small but does its job (and you only have to swipe your card in the lift, you don't have to press button for your floor). I have to say the rooms were nice, light and airy and fairly large for an Italian hotel, the bathroom was reasonably sized. The best feature of the rooms are its hot water with really good water pressure. Lovely views across the bay, and the food was nice (dinners and the breakfast buffets). More importantly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. Great housekeeping and cleaning and replenishing of things, getting us a hot water kettle, organising laundry. Fantastic service that made our stay a most enjoyable one. Thank you.

Fantastic hotel. It’s been a year and my family still talks about how wonderful this vacation was. The rooms are fantastic and so clean. We really enjoyed a late afternoon snack of pizza by the pool. Never felt like they were trying to squeeze you out of every last euro. The concierge went above and beyond for us multiple times, they are a true asset to the property. We also had the chance to unwind in the spa, which exceeded every expectation. It rivals only those luxury hotels built around thermal springs or dedicated spa retreats, it’s that exceptional. While the fitness area is more modest, it still features a top-of-the-line treadmill, some resistance equipment, and a quality dumbbell set, perfect for maintaining a routine while relaxing in such a luxurious environment. In short, this hotel isn’t just a place to stay. it’s a destination in itself. Every element has been thoughtfully crafted to offer an unforgettable experience.

Hotel Bristol is glorious! The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful and our room and an amazing view over the bay. The pool is luxurious. They are incredibly well staffed and the staff are super helpful. There is a shuttle bus into town but it is also a very pleasant walk. Definitely one of my favorite hotels in Italy.

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Bristol was excellent. Our room was spacious, the bed was perfectly comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. The true rockstars of this hotel are the staff. Well done training A1 quality hospitality professionals. The concierge arrange all our shuttle transfers as needed and recommended options for an ease of travel. The hosts were always available to assist in any requests, and the servers were so kind and knowledgeable. The food and wine selection is very good as well. My only recommendation for guests staying at this hotel, is to book your shuttle times ahead with the concierge to avoid any issues with traveling in particular to the beach club, which was beautiful!

Disgusting. The bed had little brown spots on it that i think were bed bugs. I don’t know how this place is getting those good reviews because they really fooled me!!! A bunch of people with only 1 “review” leaving 5 stars… anyway, stay far far away from this place. The manager is rude, insulting, and worst of all… discriminatory. It seems like they only cater to people from the Gulf who come in wearing designer clothes and bags. No shade but every guest who pays should be treated equally, no? 👎🏿 This is Italy. Plenty of better places where they appreciate you and your time.

While the check-in staff at this hotel was very friendly, which was a glimmer of hope at first… it was all downhill from there. The dining experience was a disaster from start to finish: we ate three meals at the hotel, and each one was worse than the last. They never honored our reservation times, and on one occasion, we waited a full hour before anyone even took our order for lunch. The restaurant staff were completely disorganized and inattentive, and the food & beverage director clearly doesn’t understand the basics of customer service. If that weren’t enough, I had booked and paid for a “Prestige Garden View” room, only to be given a room with a small, waist-high window, hardly the experience promised or expected. This hotel is poorly managed and fails to deliver on even the most basic expectations of a luxury property. Save your money and look elsewhere. There are far better options nearby that actually know how to treat their guests.
