Paolo Bistrot Ravenna Reviews
I've been to Paolo Bistrot several times for both lunch and dinner, both to eat in and take out. Excellent home-cooked food, varied, tasty yet light and easy to digest. The staff pays great attention to their customers and welcomes them with a smile. I particularly enjoyed the gnocchi with tomato sauce, the rice with vegetables, the stewed meatballs, the stuffed cabbage, and the stewed cuttlefish with potatoes and peas. An excellent option near the Mauriziano Umberto I Hospital.
Excellent, varied cuisine to suit everyone's tastes. Friendly staff and a bright atmosphere. I also booked catering...must try.
I don't usually leave reviews, but in this case, an exception is warranted. What struck us immediately was Paolo's welcome, a rare warmth and friendliness. We sat down, the atmosphere was homey, attentive, and the service was fast. My partner and I ordered a plate of cold pasta. It was good, but the penne was very al dente, too much for my partner's taste, so she sent it back, opting for a chicken salad instead. When it came time to pay, we had a pleasant surprise: at a time when some "restaurateurs" charge €2 for a slice of toast, the dish we had ordered to be taken away wasn't added to our bill! A gesture not only from a restaurateur who knows his job well, but from a true gentleman! In short, if you're in the area and looking for a place to have lunch (good!), drop by Paolo's without hesitation. You'll leave full and satisfied.
We discovered Paolo Bistrot by chance, about a month ago, while leaving the Mauriziano for obvious reasons. Let's start by saying we're from Sardinia, and being a bit lost, we went to the first place where we could get something to eat, without looking up any information online. Well, my wife, Cecilia, and I were not only pleased, but more than pleased. You can eat very "homemade" food, which we've been missing for about a month; it's good, in fact, excellent, and it's affordable. Not to mention the kindness and helpfulness of Paolo and his staff. It's like family. Paolo is very knowledgeable and absolutely open to hearing customer opinions. We recommend everyone stop by at least once to try the excellent dishes. Beautiful, clean place...I won't add anything else. I'd give it 5 stars, plus 5 stars for my wife...my compliments again to Paolo and his staff.
Good food, friendly staff and reasonable prices.
Awesome, Paolo was very friendly, made me a chicken sandwich on the fly. It was very simple but delicious. Second time there with the same sandwich and same result.
Great location for coffee and a quick bite. Good food.
Excellent bistro also for tasty and light lunch breaks
Quick lunch break but no less good and with multiple choices, efficient, kind and very fast service, in short, a fixed point
Typical food and a friendly atmosphere.
Working at Mauriziano, we occasionally treat ourselves to a light lunch at this bar. The food is home-cooked, varied, and delicious. You can choose from a menu with a first course, second course, and side dish (€13.50) or a three-course meal (€10). The portions are generous, and you can also order takeout. Fast service. Recommended.
Nice, clean, & friendly. Good for a lunch break.
Ok
While I was having breakfast with my girlfriend, the waitress and her friends started chatting about past incidents, presumably involving an African man who had stopped by the bar, constantly using obnoxious terms like "NO" and so on. It's a disgrace that people like that have the opportunity to work with the public; it was a terrible experience, never again. Furthermore, the food was poor quality and stale. Highly discouraged.
The idea it gave me was of a place set up by someone who lost their job and, with their severance pay, paid a good—not very good—architect but forgot to learn to cook (perhaps that was the most important thing). Gnocchi bought at the discount store, zucchini that to call marinated is blasphemy. Super-oxidized wine that would have been nice at the bottom of the sink. The bill was exorbitant. But the world belongs to the crafty; if you're near a major hospital, you won't starve.
I ordered a full meal , i was sick 1 hour and a half later. Also my friends. Taste like the food was expired. Never go
