Great bourbon and dinner event with C.R. Gibbs. They have a special private room for these events and the food was incredible. I highly recommend you try this place for your next event. I’ll be back again when I’m in the area.

I ordered for pick up and take out, but will comment that the atmosphere had a great vibe. If I wasn't traveling with a pet, I would have enjoyed the bar service. My take out food was the Patty Melt with Cajun Fries. The burger was cooked medium well and was packed with juicy flavor. The fries were nicely seasoned and served with ranch as a dipping sauce. I only had service from the hostess which was very pleasant. I do look forward to a sit down experience at this awesome grille.

This place was great! We are from out of town, and wanted to stop for lunch. I got the asiago burger with sweet potato fries. It was delicious. Just enough flavor without being overwhelming. My boyfriend got the Flat bread with spinach and garlic. There was a lot of cheese and the garlic chunks were a little much for his liking, but still made well. We would definitely go here again

Absolutely excellent! Outstanding food, service and atmosphere! Our server, Alex, was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Great menu options and specialty cocktails. Location is easy for travelers to get to from I5. A must stop to stretch your legs and fill your belly if near the Redding area. Recommend a Moscow Mule and an 805 beer as well as the Venison Burger, Turkey Club Wrap and the Rosemary Garlic Fries.

Marvelous lunch at the locals favorite! Fish and chips were absolutely amazing as usual. The hockey tuna bowl ahi tuna bowl was super fresh and tasty too! Drinks were on par as well... Service was outstanding too. Wasn't crowded, all servers were wearing a mask so it was safe ;) Fire lit on the patio was inviting but we sat inside due to the wild fire smoke.

They are an amazing restaurants. Only gave them four stars because they got our dishes mixed up. We both ordered steak. Mine was rare. Hers was medium well it was supposed to be reversed but it wasn't. But they did fix it and we end up sending back one of them and they totally took care of it. Definitely really good appetizers. Really good appetizers. Must try. The appetizers (Street tacos). We'll be going back.

Stayed at the best western twice this past month. The steak frites dish is so good! That said, the bartender working the night of Wednesday 1/14 was overwhelmed and messing up orders left and right. Kitchen was overwhelmed too I saw multiple steaks get sent back. My review reflect my one good experience on 1/4 and poor on 1/5.

Good food. Very clean. Creative and high-end decor. (Inside it was quite noisy. Maybe more some more soft surfaces to dull the sounds. Not a deal breaker.). Our waitress, Catrina was very nice and attentive. We will be back when we drive through.

C.R. Gibbs is a very clean and comfortable place with modern aesthetics. The food is pricier, but you should expect that with a more refined menu that uses whole food ingredients as well as the more upscale ambiance. We had the poke nachos and fried grean beans. The nachos were pretty good, but I think it needs a sweeter, sesame sauce to really compliment the fish and other ingredients better. I only say this because I've had the far superior poke nachos from The Yardhouse. These were still very good nachos. This is just my own personal opinion, ofcourse. The fried green beans come with a ginger jalapeno aioli and it did not disappoint. This aioli was very good with the poke nachos. The green beans were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, and paired wonderfully with creamy and flavorful the aioli. We were treated well and cared for by the staff as well as you would expect. Good, not great, not bad, just good. 😃 No complaints.

Menu selection is varied with great selections. Quality of food is good. Fresh and warm. Service is friendly mostly efficient. Only drawback is pricing, not equal to portions served. $28 for 2 tacos is a little rich.

We visited because we were looking for an elevated dinner, but the food was so disappointing. Our server was wonderful, but due to the quality of the food, we will never eat here again. There was a hair baked in the breading of the chicken. My husband ate a piece and said it tasted like burnt oil. The shrimp smelled like wet dog. The bbq was made with liquid smoke. Met our family in Redding for Thanksgiving dinner at a usually good restaurant. Maybe I should start with what was good. The bar tender fixed us up with some pre-dinner drinks. The hostess staff was top end and our server was efficient and friendly. I was a little worried before dinner that two men seated next to us at the bar did not eat their pumpkin pie. Once we were seated and our food arrived I noticed that we were served turkey loaf, raw string beans, powdered mashed potatoes, boxed stuffing and cranberry sauce that I am sure came from a can. As I suggested this restaurant I was embarrassed and disappointed that we chose CR Gibbs. Not sure if I will go back for any meals in the future.
