In-N-Out Burger Redding Reviews
This place is really fun if you just wanna cheap burger fries 🍔 🍟 😋. However sometimes the wait can be super long. Honestly overall to pretty good experience. And every time I go to the customer service is really fast. They always keep it pretty clean would highly recommend If you just want something cheap easy and you're not worried about calories
If you want a burger In-N-Out is the place for a fast drive-thru can't go wrong within and out. It's consistent and always the same. And they are fast. Even if you have a very long line
Best price for a cheap and good meal in town. They put verses under the cups which we love. You don’t know unless you go look for it. Cheeseburgers are the perfect size for a kid or adult and if you’re a big guy then you might want to order two burgers. It’s basically a smash burger and the sauce that comes on them is a must.
In n Out is always delicious! I order my burger with chopped grilled onions and whole grilled onions, with well-done fries on the side. You can't beat their customer service, either!
Wow they are able to get people served fast! Don't be dissuaded by the long lines. Food is always consistently good.
In-N-Out Burger has always been more than food for me; it’s part of where I’m from. I grew up in California, and stopping there feels familiar in a way that doesn’t fade with time. My go-to order is a 4x4. It’s simple, heavy, and exactly what I expect every single time. Four patties, four slices of cheese, no guessing, no disappointment. What really seals it is the atmosphere outside the building. The parking lots turn into informal car meets without anyone trying to force it. You see classics, imports, trucks, and half-finished projects parked side by side, people talking engines and stories while eating burgers off their hoods. That scene feels uniquely California, and In-N-Out somehow anchors it without ever advertising it. The food matches that culture. It’s straightforward, consistent, and unpretentious. You don’t go there to be surprised. You go there because you know exactly what you’re getting, and that’s the point. For me, In-N-Out is comfort food tied to car culture, late nights, and long drives. The 4x4 hits every time, the vibe feels right, and it reminds me of home. Even years later, every visit feels like stepping back into that rhythm of cruising, eating, and belonging that never really leaves.
6 to 7 pm is always busy especially on Sundays but the line moves relatively fast. Prices are always a pleasant surprise, compared to any other option. And the food is always consistently good.
I have never had a bad In and Out meal and I enjoy their hours of operation. For some reason the bathroom always has a slight disruption, but have you seen the volume of use it gets? There is no way to keep that tame. They do keep the inventories of things well and the lobby is always acceptable or better. I find that In and Out really has the system down and the staff always are doing something even if and when they slack off they do it while doing some tasks.
The food was amazing! As a tourist it was quick and efficient customers service. The man that was handling the orders was a the most cheerful and polite person that could have picked! He deserves a raise! I wish I got his name so I could give him more of a shout out!
In-N-Out in Redding is one of those places that just gets it right every single time. It’s not just fast food — it’s a California classic that never disappoints. We’ve been dozens of times, and whether it’s a quick lunch, dinner with the kids, or a late-night craving, the quality is always spot-on. The burgers are consistently fresh, perfectly grilled, and taste exactly the same every time — and that’s a good thing. You know what you're getting, and it’s always delicious. The fries, especially when ordered animal-style or extra crispy, are a family favorite. And the secret menu just makes everything more fun. The place is clean, the staff is polite and efficient, and the service is surprisingly fast considering how busy it can get. It’s also one of the few fast-food places where I feel good taking my kids — the atmosphere is upbeat, open, and family-friendly. We’ve made it kind of a family tradition — after a busy day, or even just to celebrate something small, we end up at In-N-Out. And every single time, we leave happy. There’s a reason this brand is legendary — and the Redding location truly lives up to it.
I always leave this place full and satisfied. The shakes are always thick and taste amazing. These people sling burgers fast and affordable. Ask for the secret menu and don't hesitate to go animal style or dip your fries in a vanilla shake before consumption. Classic Burger places always leave me happy with the service I received. I'll choose to dine at these restaurants no matter where or when.
Friendly service we have to drive wasn’t too busy. The drive-through was OK as well. Customer Service was good friendly. They gave kids cute Little, sticker sheets, nowadays. Also kids get free hot coco on rainy days. It’s they will also ask if the kids want marshmallows, good service, good food would come here again. I usually stop here on Way in and out of California.
always a long line at all hours of the day that they breeze through in minutes. Never had a wrong order. Even when ordering off "secret menu". I recommend ordering a root beer float! food is always hot, tasty, and fast, workers are also friendly and accommodating.
Honestly In n Out is generally a great place to go if you like their food. The only reason I gave them less on their atmosphere is at night the weirdos from the Bethel church come out, like a ton of them, and they will go up and talk to you. It's not even In n Outs fault
Pretty typical experience though I was shocked to have someone standing outside taking my order. Haven't had that before. Burger was good as always, but the fries could have been a bit better. Shake was stellar as usual. Pricing definitely wasn't as good as they used to be, but still relatively reasonable.
It's disappointing that the least cooked for the burger is now medium well. I grew up on double doubles and they were Always, medium rare. Quality beef can be cooked to medium rare, be safe, and not loose as much nutritional value. Sadly not all stores cook fries light the same time. These were a bit more under done than they Do them in So Cal or Vegas. Seems even In N Out had lowered thier standard of quality, Sadly. I was so looking forward to eating and enjoying some in n out, after 5 yrs in Alaska. This was the first one I came across on the drive. I hope they are better in LV and AZ
The sadest hamburger in the world. The patty was less than a quarter inch. So disappointed. The fries tasted like cardboard. The only good and tasty were the onions. I've had them before. It was not this bad. I will never eat them again.
Two people in line ahead of me and the drive thru employees had a friend at the drive through who they were talking too. Ended up taking 20 minutes and all they gave them was a milkshake. By time I did get my food I had seen it be placed under a fan, where it sat for 15 of the 20 minutes. Almost drove off but took food anyways. Big mistake. Fries were thrown in the bag, and our burgers, not wrapped. Usually a better restaurant, but the closing crew tonight (12/19/2025), I watched on multiple occasions thy stop working to joke around, or go to the freezer together(I think together). Again food was stale from being left out without a heater, and the service tonight seemed like they smoked a reefer. $25
