Panda Express Redlands Reviews
Leia was amazing and definitely helped my day to be better with her amazing service she definitely deserves a raise for being so compassionate and kind to everyone especially me and my family thank you again
It's 5 stars because it's reliably what I expect from Panda, which is also pretty good and why I fairly often choose it. What I liked about this store specifically was that I didn't get that corporate 'jump through the hoops' silliness. Just good service, pleasantly delivered, and with efficiency. No goofy 'we're a culture' signaling, but yet a comfortable culture. Maybe i just got lucky, and a different shift would annoy me with all that induced signaling, but I liked this visit.
This is one of the best Panda Express I have been to always nice employees Maxwell was nice to help me decide what was good
I always come to this Panda Express location after my late nights after school and the service is always amazing. As long as you are patient with them because they get busy with drive thru. The workers here at night are always nice and have positive attitude. I would like to say thank you to Dario, I’ve never been asked at Panda’s if there is a specific dish I would like that’s not on their selection, and he made a fresh batch of chicken string beans, which is my favorite. I would have ordered something else, which is fine but that’s excellent service. Been going here for a year now and I never had a problem.
Decided on a whim to come here during our road trip. I'm not one who really enjoys Chinese food, but we thought we'd try it. Person who served us was extremely friendly and pleasent. And the food was really good! If we had something like this in the UK, I would actually have Chinese takeaways a bit more!
If you have never had Panda Express it is Chinese fast food done in a cafeteria style setup. They are best known for their orange chicken. But let's back up. You go in and choose whether you want 1, 2, or 3 items to compliment their white rice, fried rice ,chow mein and or super veggies. Then add meat ie chicken and mushrooms, green bean chicken, teriyaki chicken, with many other choices. Then choose spring rolls and other sides. Add the app on your phone and check out discounts.
It's was just ok. I got the 2 plate one side. Choices was rice and mixed veggies which was good. Along with the Steak and mushrooms i think peppers. Also chicken teriyaki which felt under cooked so I threw most of it away. I don't go to panda as much in my city and maybe not period. Paid $12. Ate and took pictures of the good pieces. 👍
Don’t come here during your lunch break! They are slow when its crowded been here for 30 minutes!! I’ve been to other Panda Express’s and it’s never been this long of a wait. FYI They ask you to round up your change but the portions don’t accommodate for your donations…
Now i know panda is known for being a little skimpy on their entree portions, but this is ridiculous. I ordered a bowl of chow mien and orange chicken and there was barely any chicken! I am essentially paying for a bowl of just chow mien. Also what is this broccoli from the rainbow chicken, there are no florets on it just the stems.
Can't rate atmosphere because I used the drive thru. Line did not look long, but from the time I got in line until I got my food iit took 20 minutes. I wanted Mushroom chicken but when I got to the order kiosk, the order taker told me they discontinued that flavor, and recommended the new replacement entree, Chicken Vegetables. He said it was as good as Mushroom chicken. By that time I was stuck in the drive thru so decided to try it. It wasn't even close. Bland flavor. I am hoping other locations still carry the mushroom chicken because that is my favorite by far.
This is one of the few places that offers a vegetarian side besides the veggie spring rolls. They never post some of their regular vegetarian option like eggplant tofu. I don't understand why it's not listed on the drive through menu or a separate sign. And then when they have a special rotating veggie item like the Beyond orange chicken, which is delicious, that's not posted either. These items could be more popular, but they're not going to if they're not posted. This location is near city of Loma Linda where they have a lot of vegetarians.
Friendly staff, portions are good. Chow mein wasn't burn, and my Kung Pao was actually spicy. I even asked for a refill and she was very accommodating. We customers are aware that times are changing, now besides customers and drive thru there are online orders, this is a good problem to have but not one to make your customers pay for. It took 10 minutes standing there to even get acknowledged and place an order. It shouldn't be a customer problem because one is on the clock, the owners and management should make sure to staff better or change their system. All orders are still getting picked from the same place, which causes delays and food to run out. You need to change with the times and set up another food set up so that all orders can be fulfill in a timely manner. Also, please be a little more generous with your meat servings, my broccoli and beef should just be broccoli, only two pieces of beef present. Panda is already more expensive than other chinese restaurants, so please don't hold back.
They have a new menu item but won't give a sample to try until after you've made a purchase. Both the person in front of me and I ended up getting a bowl instead of a plate because of this policy. It's a loss on their part.
I tried this Panda Express recently and the food was greasy, overcooked, tasteless and overpriced. My experience was bad enough that I won't go back. There a fast food Chinese place closer to me that has much better, fresher food. And the servers are friendly.
Serving portions are way too small. I'm going to contact corporate because at this time I feel cheated. I've held my tongue but today was the breaking point. A bowl that is almost $10 is not even filled all the way and in fact barely 3/4 of the way if that. They are constantly reducing the protein/meats they place and now it was to the point I can count the amount of pieces in 1 hand. I've gone to other Panda locations so this is definitely a problem just here not chain-wide. I've attached a picture for reference. This is probably one of the few bad reviews I've given and usually try to name the positive but how are you going to think no one is going to say anything?
They forgot my cream cheese wantons, which I can forgive, just a simple mistake. But then, they gave me a total of 4 strips of beef in my bowl, now that’s nefarious. My orange chicken was cold and hard, which is crazy given that’s their most popular item and it was during the dinner rush. Never gave me my receipt. And when I go to call to make them aware of the missing item, they didn’t answer. Twice. And I gave plenty of wiggle room in between the calls. I just wanted my wantons man 😔
Got shorted on my order. I didn't have time to complain about it because it took so long to get my food that I had to go back to work. It's ridiculous I get charged full price and only get half my order. If you are in a hurry don't use the drive through. It'll take up your whole 30 minute break. And make sure you have time to check your order.
My family and I are experiencing a similar issue with throat irritation after consuming a particular food product. Unfortunately, the ingredients used in its production are unknown to me. Has anyone else encountered a comparable problem?
I bought noodles, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken egg rolls and I’m sorry but the was horrible. The noddle tasted like old oil and they were undercooked. The teriyaki chicken was stringy and tasted old. The egg-rolls soggy and food in the serving plates look dried out and old. Do not waste your time and money at this establishment. The owner should take pride in his business and truly care about his customers. This Panda Express is below unsatisfactory. What a waste of location.
Very poor choice of entries. There were 7 entries were empty and two were obviously old. Employees in no rush to cook missing items. Employees could care less about inside customers and were concentrating on door-dash orders. 20 min later 5 entries still missing. Tried again on Sunday 7-13-25 and again 8-31-25. Experience the same. Many dishes (7 empty bowls) not made and those that were half gone and looked very old. (only the orange chicken looked edible) There was only 1 helping of Chow Mein and it looked like it was left over from the night before. The server ignored us as we were standing waiting for service (never acknowledged us) so we left. Went to another chinese restaurant and had a fantastic meal. Prices have gone up but service and quality have not, especially on Sundays
Terrible. Big lumps of cabbage in my chow mein. My Beijing Beef was okay and hot but tell me why the chow mein was cold. I spent over $10 on this meal. I will not go back to this shop ever again. Btw this is not the first time this Panda Express has let me down. I love Panda Express but honestly I’m not so sure I’ll ever go back to a Pandas again.
