Royal Falconer Redlands Reviews
This place is the bomb.Everybody should go there. It is so good prices are good service is great. It had a piano bar.Everything was awesome, except.Bring a jacket. It's freezing in there
We had our company event at the Falconer of Redlands and it was terrific. The atmosphere is great and we loved the piano bar upstairs. The service was excellent and the food wonderful. My husband who likes his steak well had ordered the prime rib (which obviously has pink) and not only did he eat the entire steak but he raved about how good it was. I had the salmon and it was delicious, as were the appetizers, dessertsand drinks. Highly recommend that you check out the Falconer of Redlands.
First time back since the new ownership, renovations, and menu. Our cocktails, apps, and entrees were delicious and fresh! I have to, HAVE TO, give a huge shoutout to my party's server. Miss Chance. She was friendly, attentive, paid attention to detail, and never let us have an empty cup or dirty plate in front of us. Hands down, the best service we've all had in a long time! I would already come back to try more items off the menu but I am definitely coming back to be served by Chance to fully enjoy my experience!
An absolutely incredible place to have dinner. The food at this restaurant is the best in Redlands. And the service is un parallel. It’s an incredible atmosphere. It’s a whole new dynamic. Make sure you visit the new owner ownership at the Falconer because it is absolutely worth investing your time and money into
Awesome English style Restraunt & Pub . I enjoyed a pint of Guinness & Crab bites during their happy hour special. Only wished they had their fish and chips available as an appetizer. The service was was super friendly and awesome.
UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT! And... what a difference it makes! The restaurant/bar is BEAUTIFUL! I had, perhaps, the best old fashioned I've ever consumed, and my meal was one of the top five OF MY LIFE! The lobster roll filled my stomach (& soul) with so much joy! The spinach & mushroom side was INCREDIBLE! Jeffrey & his whole Tartan gang have outdone themselves and created something truly special. The Falconer is sure to become my new regular hangout.
Excellent food and service. The Oysters Rockerfeller are outstanding as are the clams -- both apps. From burgers to steaks, all are more than worth ordering. I look forward to returning soon.
The ambiance is prefect for a solo lunch, lunch date, business lunch or dinner alike. It’s where the historical the Falconer meets the update of a modern elegant vibe, embracing casual but proper mannerisms are certainly appreciated. Staff is lovely, extremely attentive and appropriately polite. The menu offers something for everyone and the portions are well balanced. The consistency is on point and their adult beverages menu and drinks are creatively curated and intentionally crafted with precision, garnishment and options are top shelf and delicious! Enjoyed the Halibut, which I highly recommend! 5 🌟 all the way around!
Disclaimer: They have a new menu from what most online reviews are talking about. Though I was originally drawn to the old menu I had some fantastic and intriguing options and had an amazing meal. The new menu features lots of seafood and steak options with a good selection of appetizers. full service bar and a good selection of beers on tap. Dominique was my bartender and she was very friendly, fast and a delightful server. And she made a mean old fashion just the way I wanted it. For dinner I had the clams linguini which was so rustic and was a new comfort food I never knew I was craving and the prosciutto was also top notch. I loved the atmosphere here compared to some of the other stops in the area, not too packed and you can hear yourself think, felt upscale but also welcoming. I'll definitely be back.
Bradley provided excellent service and made our evening memorable. The crab cakes were outstanding, the sea bass was fantastic, and the bottle of Daou wine was a perfect touch. Great food and a lovely atmosphere—highly recommend.
Food was great! The carrots could have used a little more cook time, but other than that I really enjoyed it. The restaurant is under new ownership so there's been some changes to the menu among other things in the restaurant. I was sad to see they no longer have Shepherds pie, but after talking to the new owner I understand why. I am excited to come back and check out the upstairs area that they're currently working on. I was told it was going to be some sort of VIP style lounge? Sounds very promising so looking forward to that! The wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, very welcoming as well. Overall had a great time with great food and looking forward to returning in the future!
Update This place is very unique in what they serve and how they serv it. You really feel you are in Irland, sitting and chatting with anyone arround. Kyle is a great host and the food is very tasty. ----- A true authentic fish and chips place. This place is a modern well run eatery and offers a taste of Americam food. The menu selection is pretty broad and portions are much more than a typical eatery. The process are very modest with a great table service. Payton took care of us very nicely. The challenge between food and service with her attending to us vanished. We did enjoy the food and service fully. Our walking experience turned out to be a memorable one.
My daughter and I were in Redland for our haircut appointments. Afterwards we were looking for a place to eat lunch. She wanted fish and chips. I got on the YELP app and it shows several local restaurants. Glad we pick this place. Great food, great service, place is clean, great atmosphere and with a lunch special for $13.00. Also, I might add about the woman bathroom I asked the waitress why is the wall is all cover in the ❤️ 💕🖤art graffiti? She says every time someone leaves a graffiti on the wall, they’ll draw a heart over it to cover up. Overall we will definitely be coming back.
I came on a Friday evening for dinner around 8:30pm. It open seating. Service was a little slow, but not bad and we got our food pretty quickly. We ordered brussel sprouts for a starter and the garlic parmesan halibut and buffalo chicken sandwich with an Irish apple cake for dessert. The food was all good. The brussel sprouts appetizer came out at the same time as our food, which we didn't mind, but we also realized the halibut came with the exact same brussel sprouts and there were a TON. I wish our server had warned us so we could have tried something else, but it wasn't a huge deal. The chicken sandwich also did have mayo on it which wasn't listed on the menu, and my husband hates mayo, so that was unfortunate. Next time we'll have to ask when ordering. The apple cake was very yummy. The portions were all generous.
Tried it for the first time since the Falconer changed ownership. Great vibe, service was great. Unfortunately, the food was OK. None of the food (kabobs, fish and chips) came out hot. The F&C was hot but the potatoes were cold, on the steak kabobs they came out lukewarm. Unfortunately, not a good first impression.
The crab cakes were delicious. But the rest of the food was definitely sub par. It sucks because this place used to be very good.
Our waiter/ bartender was wonderful. The food was subpar at best, we got the Scotch eggs which had next to no sausage and tasted old. I got the bangers and mash and it was okay. The bangers tasted like the ones I had in London but the mash had 0 seasoning & there was squash?? Which was bitter. We did like the hush puppies and the apple cake came with a ton of ice cream too, thanks to our waiter. The women's restroom were horrific in both design and state, getting toilet paper was like trying to milk a cow while being on top of it, awkward..if you have limited wrist or hand motion, I don't recommend. I really wanted to like it but sad to say it didn't quite meet expectations with the exception of the exceptional waiter.
Beer was flat, coke was flat and credit card charges were " royally " screwed up! Waitress was very nice, apologetic and received a good tip. Will not be returning
