Small but very cozy place. Planta of menu options and banana pancakes my favorite. Amazing service… very recommend. When you arrive ask for table in the front weird door. Closer to farmers market

Great "hole in the wall" diner! Very busy, small, cozy spot with a dining bar in the front and covered patio in back. Friendly, accommodating staff, great food and huge portions!!! Mix of Greek, American and Mexican.

The food came up fast and was very tasty and well cooked, with good texture. Everyone was very nice.

This sweet hole in the wall serves delicious and fresh food. The owner and his family are very friendly. My favorite was the tuna salad plate. I went back especially to get it on a short visit to Redondo Beach.

This place is its name and I couldn’t be happier that I stopped to grab a bite here. Open the door slowly in case someone is sitting in one of those seats at the horseshoe shaped counter immediately (literally) when you step inside. I ordered the corn beef hash, scrambled eggs, hash browns (cooked to perfection) and sourdough toast. I was in the area to pick up an item I purchased online so I searched Google Maps for a good spot to eat to make the trip worthwhile. I read a few reviews and looked at a few of the pictures and saw how they cook their hash browns and knew I would like everything about this place, and I do. I’m so tired of all these other places who practically burn their hash browns till they’re hard and crunchy on the outside and somehow virtually uncooked on the inside. Everywhere else you go, they charge 50% more than they did a few months ago. The prices at the Cozy Cafe are more than reasonable. I was so grateful for the fresh quality food, I tipped well and still felt like they deserved more. I’ll tip more when I come back. I will come back here for the hash browns alone and be thrilled by the genuine caring service and overall wholesome nature of this place. If you’re not interested in sitting next to strangers, they have a couple of tables outside with canopies to offer shade. They’re right on PCH near Torrance Blvd. I parked on Torrance just around the corner and walked over. I can hardly wait to go back.

Very attentive people, feels like if one of your parents or grandparents made you breakfast and you were eating it at the dinner table with them.

Classic hole-in-the-wall diner, down to earth vibe. Owners were super friendly, and most importantly of all the food was incredible!

I loved this place! The food was delicious. I came with my colleagues and we all got breakfast. I had the huevos rancheros with papitas. The homemade salsa verde was perfect, definitely homemade. It’s family owned and ran. The owner was so sweet and accommodating and his family is beautiful. His son took our order and was our server. His wife, older son and daughter are the cooks. I absolutely recommend his spot.

C

The food was great, and it tasted homemade, which made it more delicious. I'm definitely coming back again. I had chorizo with homemade fries. It was delicious!.

The food was delicious and the service is amazing! I think it's family owned and operated. But I highly recommend this for breakfast 😊 for sure. The lunch menu looks excellent too.

I found this place off a whim when coming down PCH from Malibu. Craving brunch, I just decided to walk in and have this place without hesitating to find out what was so special about it. Wow! I had the Greek scramble and two hotcakes and all I can say is the food was absolutely amazing for the dollar I paid for! I can say for certain next time I'm in the South Bay looking for a nice, "cozy", place to have some breakfast and coffee, I'll be stopping be here in a hear beat. Thank you again to the staff who did such an amazing job taking care of us!

An unexpected delight. We almost drove by but the high rating caused us to give this place a try. I’m so glad we stopped and ate here. The banana hotcakes were so good - worth every calorie. The service was the best. You could tell they love their customers.

Eggcellent food and very attentive service. I had the chorizo and eggs on Saturday and the chicken fried steak and eggs on Sunday morning both were very good.

Lovely diner filled with locals. I got pancakes and eggs for $10 in 2025. Great value compared to ihop or norms. There are 3 seating areas: counter, front patio, and back patio. The place is bigger than it seems. Loads of free parking on side streets. Customer service was great too!

Found a local gem this morning! Cannot rave enough about this true “cozy” cafe. On the outside, which is being painted, it may not look like much, but it has a charm that breaks through the generic, modernistic, and want to be boutique eateries of the area. What others are trying to convey The Cozy Cafe brings to you on a plate with home style meals. The iconic mix of Greek-Hispanic flair made famous by California literary great Victor Villasenor resonates in this establishment! In the center of all the “fluff” of touristy Rendondo Beach fare, sit down at the horseshoe style countertop and have a great cup of Joe, good enough for any dock worker or fisherman. Order the Huevos Rancheros and be served a large plate of eggs, papas with onions, and a “Spanish sauce” that has a Mediterranean flair! Or order the Ham Steak and Eggs and have a meal fit for a sailor! The experience is like visiting a relative’s home, catching up on recent events, and having a great meal. Day 2: Had to return for another breakfast! Was greeted like a regular! Carlos and the Saturday Morning Crew was busy serving breakfast. I had the Chorizo con Huevos, what a great meal and yes with a stack of corn tortillas and side of chilies- I ate it all! The Crew kept my coffee cup filled with that brewed gold! Walking away I felt like leaving an old friend behind and will long for this place when I return home tomorrow.

At first glance it doesn’t look like a place to go, but the staff were extremely friendly and the food was on point. Put other breakfast places to shame. Also good prices for the amount of food we got. Such a good experience our group came back the next day. The customer service piece is also amazing. The main cook is so nice :) we will always come back.

Great find. Staff was incredibly hospitable. Carlos personally came and checked on me twice. The coffee was better than McDonalds. The food was scrumptious and ohhh so fresh! I almost licked the plate, it was so good. Give them a try, it’s worth it and I highly recommend.

Incredible service, after just walking in the door. Greeted by three behind the counter, and immediately brought menu and asked if I had any questions… As I always have lots of questions, they were very welcoming and continued to provide A+ customer service. Family-owned, this Little teeny weenie restaurant gave me wonderful service years ago. I was so excited that nothing had changed, including the delicious food. Unlike so many other breakfast places, they offer the most delicious tzatziki, so I ordered the Greek omelette. Like years ago, their tzatziki and Greek omelette were delicious. Dining here, you’ll not only experience a wonderfully warm, family like feeling but will also enjoy delicious and fresh made to order food. Don’t miss their green salsa which is hot and worth it!

Best Huevos Rancheros hands down! Actually cozy place if you eat at the bar counter. Definitely not a modern place. Feels actually old, but if you know you're there for the food, you'll enjoy this very much!!

Place was awesome. In town from Philly, walked in at 7:45. Owner and his family were sitting down for breakfast. Great people. I ordered to-go to bring back to the hotel. Food was ready in maybe 5 min, could have been sub 4. Owner is super friendly and clearly proud of his place and his family. Got back to the hotel and the food was incredible. Highly recommend the stuffed banana French toast, my fiance loved it too. Home fries were magnificent. Five stars all around. Love that guy and his spot.

Nice quaint little breakfast place. Went there right at 7:30 when they open, very friendly staff, and a local venue. Very small inside, won’t seat more than about 12 or so at the small counter, but they also have some outdoor seating area with tables. Large selection of items on the menu. A little run down, but that just adds to the ambiance. Had heuvos rancheros…very good! The green chili hot salsa as a condiment made it even better. Coffee is typical diner style, decent, not great. Prices were decent, probably less than a typical California restaurant. What makes this place is a good meal and friendly conversation not only with the staff, but locals who come here all the time. Would I come back again…yes. Would I recommend…yes.

The food is tasty. But... they should list on their menu that the chicken fried steak ONLY comes with Brown Gravy. Kind of weird.
