I had an amazing experience at Smash Burger! The double bacon burger was absolutely fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Paired it with an Oreo milkshake that was creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet treat. The service was friendly, and the vibe was great. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend!

If your looking for some quick bite in Richardson area .. try the smash burger location .. love the smash chicken n sweet potatoe fries .. service was also exceptional .. the front counter guy is so pleasant and they greet you with a smile.. after a stressful work and you just want to grab some good food .. this is the place to go to ..

First time at a Smashburger. I was craving a burger, gave it a try. Had the Double Bacon Stack Smash and a side of the Bacon Cheese fries. That was a lot of bacon on the burger, wow! Not a big fan of the cheese on the burger or fries. Other than that, everything was great. Lobby and tables were clean. Staff was friendly, efficient and checked on me to make sure I enjoyed my meal. Probably will eat here again, but I’ll avoid the cheese.

First time trying in my lunch break. Little pricey, but wanted something new. Food was made to order with my burger well done just like I asked. Didnt have to wait too long. At first I thought the bacon made it too salty, so I took it off only to find out it was the patty.😏 other than that staff was very friendly and place was clean.

Ive been coming to this spot often. The wait is always horrendous. I waited 25 minutes for a double burger with fries, only for my fries to be halfway full. This may be my last time at this location.

This location really needs improvement. The wait times are consistently too long, even for orders that should take less than 15 minutes. It also seems like they’re understaffed, because every visit feels slower than it should. On top of that, they don’t answer their phone, which makes it frustrating for customers trying to call in. Overall, the service and order handling need serious attention.

The food is great 👍 but the employees need help! We dined in, ordered then waited for about 30 minutes for our food. It was frustrating but then I saw there is only about 3 people (1 cashier and 2 in the kitchen). Where is everyone? I cant imagine having to cook for all the dine in customers AND the online orders. I hope they get more employees because the 2 star rating service & atmosphere is for not hiring enough staff to keep this place operational.

Food was delicious! Service was TERRIBLE! I got a burger, fries and side of chili (for my burger). They brought me my burger and that was it. When I told them I needed the frys and chili it took them 15 minutes to bring it to me. And that was after asking for it for the third time (as I saw other food going out with fries on plate and the chili is premade so just needed to be put in a cup). By then my burger was cold and the chili wasn't even hot enough to melt the cheese it had sprinkled on top. There was no one in line when I got there and by the time I left, people were standing around waiting for their food and the food window was backed up. It was not the kitchens fault by any means. It was the 2 people at the front who didnt know there left hand from their right. Either they need more training or to find people who care about having a job. You could tell the kitchen was frustrated with them also. Won't be going back.

Bacon horrible Sweet potato fries should have been left alone because the tiny hard waffles fries were horrible Waited 20 minutes and food was cold and all I heard was 2 men gossiping and probably spitting over my food. I won’t come back which is sad. Please consider shutting down all locations, effective immediately.

Health Code Violation I am a doordasher. I came in and had to wait 20+ minutes which is a huge issue in itself which leads me to this. The cashier AND the kitchen staff let a RANDOM doordasher go to the side of the counter where the heat lamps and food is and package his own order. There was also dine in customers food right next to the food he is was grabbing without gloves. He had to move a basket or two to get the order. Huge health code violation. The cashier took my customer's burger AWAY from the heat lamps, then left it in a bag off to the side for 5-10 minutes, letting it get cold. My customer's tater totts were already under the heat lamp for 10-15 minutes, just sitting there. Yet she kept telling me my order wasn't ready. I called her out and she complained to the other dasher that mine isn't ready which was a lie. She just couldn't finish what she started. While I was there another dine in customer came up to the kitchen and said his fries were cold, then ANOTHER dine in customer said the burger was made with the wrong bread. So many issues in just the 20 minutes I was there. Your store needs help, it is understaffed and staff needs training on proper health practices.

Am so angry Smashburger no longer has the "stick" smash fries. They would be fried a little crisper with the seasoning. I loved them! Smashburger is no longer "special"! You can get these fries at any burger place. I no longer order any fries.

Waited over 30 min for a simple burger and fries order. Had to get a refund because I had no time during my lunch hour. Place seems to prioritize mobile orders over people in store. Also demands tip upfront. Never going back.

Went to this location on 11/9 and had my worst restaurant experience in recent memory. It literally took 40 minutes from time of order to receiving it, and it was only then that I realized the person ringing me up typed in the wrong burger. I can get over that because it's a burger it still tastes fine, but it was a jarring experience to sit there and watch the burger cool off on the counter while it took another 15 minutes for my tots to be served up. It begs the question if they just forgot to drop them in the fryer. It did not seem like the front-of-house staff were communicating with the kitchen what they needed either. Not very complicated to say, "hey, this one is still missing the tots." What bothers me is that there was zero urgency among the staff - everyone was quiet, moving like zombies, the kitchen was discombobulated and seemed like they had no idea what they were doing, and most importantly there was no leadership trying to get it together. In my own experience working in the food industry, these are the times a manager should be lighting a fire under everyone, giving people direction, and getting the situation under control. I hardly ever leave reviews at all - the reason I am going to this extent is to make whomever owns this place aware that it was a terrible experience - you need a new manager. Edit to add some context: there were probably only 10 people in the queue max, maybe less, and I was in the middle of the queue. So they were just a normal amount of busy but nothing that should justify a 40 minute wait.
