I came to the restaurant Saturday afternoon, first time since the new owner took over. Instead of the previous for hall concept it’s an actual sit down restaurant and the owner was there to introduce herself. I was pleased to see oysters on the menu, $3 a piece. And the menu was good! The view is amazing. Very clean restrooms with changing table for kids. I saw previous comments and was hesitant to go but so glad I did. I saw the owner is working hard to make the place better and it’s truly unique place, so I’m wishing her well and will be back for those oysters!

My coworkers and I decided to celebrate my birthday at Assemble Kitchen during our lunch break and it was a decision we didn't regret. The service was exceptionally warm and friendly, with a special mention to all the bilingual staff who went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. Their thoughtful gesture of presenting a beautiful cake and singing happy birthday truly touched my heart. I opted for the chicken pot pie, and it was a culinary delight, bursting with flavor. My coworkers also enjoyed their meals immensely, each dish being a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. 🥗 🍲 🍅 The restaurant's spacious, open layout exuded a trendy warehouse vibe, adding to the overall dining experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Assemble Kitchen to explore more of their enticing menu offerings. If you're searching for a place with exceptional food, welcoming service, and a unique ambiance, look no further than Assemble Kitchen. It's the perfect destination for any celebration or casual dining experience. - Gracias por su amable servicio ❤️

My husband and I visited here for the first time after our ferry ride back from SF. The vibe is chill and welcoming and the happy hour food was really tasty!

Amazing place! Gorgeous industrial interior in the original Ford manufacturing plant, next to Rosie the Riveter museum. The food is excellent quality - multiple options inaide the market place, seating is comfortable and spacious, and service is fast. Love the cozy industrial vibe and the waterfront views are wonderful. Came for brunch, they also do events and sometimes open the whole glass-house to dinners it looks like!

Simple and casual food, quite decent. Beautiful inside in an old factory, and nice outside with bay views.

There are a few different options of food here. We had French toast, veggie sandwich, polenta, and drinks. The Bloody Mary was spicy. You can sit indoors or out. Close to Rosie museum, craneway and Columbia employee store. Great views outside and nice walking path.

We ended up at Assemble on a rainy mid afternoon. At first we were bummed we'd loose brunch with a view of the Bay, but once we had food it as all ok. I ordered the solid portion shrimp fried rice and perfectly seasoned fries (yes I was on a carb kick). The fries stick out to me because of how crunchy and well seasoned they were. I was able to sneak in a couple of bites of their salmon salad, my friend was having. Instant food envy. So fresh and light on the dressing. Lastly we shared desert, an order the Crème brûlée and chocolate ice cream. I favored the chocolate ice cream, so creamy, tasty and homemade!

Fantastic food and service. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it came with a yummy side of fruit.

Cat friendly place to grab some good food. The service was decent and we found table when we got here. We had wet breakfast burrito, two scrambled eggs with side of Cajun potatoes and sourdough bread. The jam (blueberry I think) was the highlight. The food wasn't warm enough for my liking. The vibe and songs were fun.

This is a neat little restaurant on the water. Love sitting outside and when we went on a Saturday at 11am there was live music. I was a little dissapointed that the menu had been completely changed since the last time I had come a few months earlier and was left with very little to choose from. The burger was good, but when I was expecting to be able to order fish and chips it was dissapointing.

Located next to the Rosie The Riveter Museum this casual fun lunch local certainly did its job of taking the edge off after a spectacular morning in the museum. Service was prompt and food was delightful and my four stars instead of five has to do with a habit too many restaurants are getting into, that of removing one customer's plate while others at the table are still eating. It makes those still finishing feel like they need to hurry up while also implying to me that the restaurant is only concerned with turning the table rather than satisfying the diner. This was particularly grating on my visit here in that there were plenty of tables open and no one waiting. But still a positive dining experience and a restaurant I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The ambiance was very nice and the waitress was very friendly. However the kitchen was super backed up and my order took 40 min to arrive. It sat at the counter for 15 minutes (i guess they wanted to wait until my friend’s dish was ready) by the time we both got it mine was cold. I had to send it back and it took an additional 20 min. His fish and chips were far better than my eggs Benedict (they were just ok). I would recommend getting something else from the menu.

Edit: As this used to be one of my favorite brunch spots, I have since tried again, and had a better experience. That said, in this experience, they were out of many menu items. I get the sense that they are struggling, like many places are. This time, they were more attentive and helpful, though. I hope they manage to pull through and expand back into the larger (and fully stocked) menu that they once had. ....................... Waited at the door for several minutes before being greeted and told to seat myself. Waited at the table for 15-20 minutes without any human interaction whatsoever. The restaurant looked post rush, and was not busy. One server (presumably) was doing side work the whole time. Another, the one who told me to seat myself, bussed tables while I sat unattended. Got up and went down the street to Golden Gate Bistro. I was able to drive there, park, order, and begin eating, in less than the amount of time I waited at Assemble Kitchen

Went here twice recently and thought my bad experience the first time was just a one-off, but after this last time, I'm really disappointed. Food was slow to arrive and then it wasn't what we ordered. Management was nowhere to be found and servers had to share a checkout device which delayed us even further. Place was cold and server asked us twice if anyone had taken our order - (and she was the one that had taken our order!) Can't beat the location. It's beautiful, but next time I'll visit the museum next door and pass on this restaurant. Really sad, as I have enjoyed it in past years.

The oyster were excellent. Lemon pepper wings were ok. Fish and chips, (this is after you add malt vinegar and a little salt) the fish was still super bland and the batter was mushy, the fries were ok. We also got nachos to go for my daughter so not sure about that yet, the drinks were good. Good customer service, very friendly. Beautiful view of the bay on a hot day it would be breathe taking. We might try it again definitely for the oysters and wine 🍷.

The front staff was nice, but I think their kitchen had problems. It took over 20 min for a chips and salsa appetizer, and over an hour for the main course. When the food did come out, we were a pot pie short because they ran out of crust. They quickly expedited a replacement dish... Which was cold in the middle. Even ignoring that fiasco everyone thought most of the dishes were mediocre (despite our being hungry). On the plus side, the garlic bread was good.

I really wanted to love this place. My husband and I came here because we were starving and wanted to have a nice lunch by the water before visiting the Rosie the Riveter Museum. We literally stood at the hostess-less front door for 10 minutes. The only two employees that got close enough to where we were standing were clearly trying to avoid eye contact. It wasn't until we finally caught the attention of a busser who, clearly way too busy to look up from what he was doing, unprofessionally mumbled that he didn't know where the hostess was before walking off. I then overheard the two aforementioned employees annoyingly ask each other where 'she' was. Just as I turned to my husband to say, "This was a mistake," the plain-clothed hostess arrived. I had no clue she was even an employee by the way she was dressed in a tank top and jeans (apparently everyone else was required to wear a professional-looking uniform?) until she started to grab menus. She was obviously as equally annoyed as her coworkers and caused me to feel as if we had inconvenienced her by showing up. By this point, we're already at Strike #2 in my book in less than 15 minutes. Surprisingly, the server came quickly to take our drink orders. Our two waters came and we put in our food orders which I think were simple enough: a burger with fries and beignets (accompanied by jam per their menu). The food came quickly, but not as quickly as the server dismissed us after putting our food on the table. She never offered ketchup for my husband's fries, and when I tried to call out to her to ask for my missing jam, she completely turned her back on me and tended to another (a.k.a. bigger ticket) table. The food was mediocre, but in trying to see the silver-lining of this highly disappointing situation, I was really impressed with the view. What a waste of a beautiful and historic building (Ford Assembly Plant)!

We went with friends who were visiting and they were closed for an event, which we had checked for before going. If you go be aware that it’s not the restaurant pictured and reviewed on google maps, the name may be the same but the layout menu and hours are not. There has been a “restaurant” I. This location for years, but the decor, hours, menu, owners, and chefs (when they even have one has changed many times over the years. I’d strongly recommend trying somewhere else, as there are many good restaurants in Marina Bay and Point Richmond and if go a little further Albany and El Cerrito have lots as well.

The waiter was very rude. I always leave the tip in cash and he got angry because I didn't leave it on the card and he offended me and then he told my friends that I didn't leave him a tip and my friends gave him more.He said that Mexican woman didn't leave me a tip. He said it in a very derogatory way and he didn't want to serve me. He only talked to my friends. He only spoke to me to demand a tip. It was really unpleasant and he was very rude and A tall blond man with a very bad character. I will not go back to that place if he is there and neither will my friends. It is in bad taste to demand a tip and he didn't even deserve it because the service was terrible.
