My partner and I went here for a date.♡ We absolutely loved the experience! Service was amazing, and so was the food. We rushed because we didn't know there wasn't a time limit. 😅😂 At the end of service we received our dessert, and left with our broth.. and the itis! We slept SOO GOOD. Lol.

I love hot pot! This place has everything you could want from assorted broth choices to all the toppings. I discovered their French fries and a little side of crispy fries with hot pot was very satisfying😅

Third time back and it was super delicious! We ordered a good amount of food for three people. The fried chicken wings are a 10/10 (I recommend them). Everything was great. Also, it's better with someone who knows about hot pot and prepare. And read the menu carefully for you first timers

Collagen Beauty Milk Pot was fulfilling but we noticed that some of the vegetables were not washed throughly and had dirt/residue on them. Fried Stinky Tofu was authentic. We love the Tofu Pudding because it was silky and sweet. The Fruit Tea was scrumptious!

if you're looking for a solid late-night meal then hotpot nation is the spot to go in the east bay. their soup base options and variety in meat, veggies, seafood, and other ingredients available to choose from truly makes me feel like im in hot pot heaven. one thing id like to make a note on is the fact that i usually love eating my hot pot ingredients with sauces but with this spot their soup made each ingredient so flavorful/yummy i enjoyed it just as much without the sauces! what i also appreciate about this spot is how their service is more relaxed and laid back. however, if you need something there's a button at your table in which you can press so you can easily grab their attention which is so efficient. highly recommend for yall to check out this place with your friends and family! tips: - you can add different dividers/multiple soup bases in one big pot which allows you to share a fun meal with multiple people with different preferences - lots of parking available - lots of options for various food preferences - perfect for dates, friends, and family

Our family came to this place many times, always left with satisfactory, wanted come back again. Their hot pot broth is tasty, meat is fresh cut with relatively thick slides. Lamp soup is well made, delicious. You can make your own flavor. The quality over cost ratio is high. A highly recommended place

I've been here with my partner a few times and it has always been a nice treat. The service and staff has always been super friendly and fast! I understand the QR code ordering can still be a shock to some, but I can say it has improved since the first time we've used it a few years back. It's fast, clear and I find it more convenient as I can always add to the order at anytime. We were a party of 4 with one who only eats veggies. We ordered a split pot, premium beef combo, the big veggie combo, lotus, noodles, and fried tofu. The choices of broth are plenty. The mild, to me, is a bit spicier than usual so if you're not used to it, I suggest the normal broth and just add a little hot oil to your liking. That was perfect to start our table off. We added a couple of items later, but that was a good portion for 4 people. Lots of ingredients and broth choices. If you like more customization to your hot pot rather than an all you can eat business model, this place may be a better choice and in some cases, a better value. After having been there more than a handful of times, I can safely say that I've never had a bad experience there. Always a great date night for me and my partner. With businesses coming and going in today's climate, I'm always happy to see this little corner spot in the mall still serving.

First time here at Hot Pot Nation. The food is great but menu lack details information. We didn’t know that the soup will come loaded with meats & salad ~ so we order extra portions and ended up having to take out. Overall ~ food is great and amazing services. +1 for great variety of sauce condiments. -1 ⭐️ for fried quail egg… we never have quail egg that is both smell and chewy before…

First time here a few days ago. Food was nice and fresh but the soup was a bit under seasoned, but there’s a condiments station so that helped out a lot. Service was fast and friendly. There’s a 18% charge that will be added to your order so just be prepared to pay extra as the tip will automatically be included(I noticed a small label that mentioned this at our table).

Well appointed place with a really nice Asian design and seating. The food is served raw to be cooked at your table hot pot. The broths we got were quite good with strong flavors. There’s also a well stocked condiments bar where you can create your own custom sauce for your meal. All in all, it’s a great place to have a big group of friends enjoy a meal.

Pretty good food overall. Good selection of different meatballs/ seafood balls, which is quite rare to find in US.

I think the price is quite high, but the quality isn't good. The mala broth was edible, but the kimchi broth was really bland and needed extra seasoning. I didn't receive any advice from the staff; they were quite silent and passive. I won't be coming back.

We chose the spicy mala soup and the Collagen Beauty Milk Pot for our hotpot. For the meat, we ordered the combo, which included Special Fatty Beef, Lamb Shoulder, Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder, and Thin Sliced Chicken Breast. While the milky soup had a decent flavor, the spicy base soup wasn’t as spicy as we expected, and the flavor of the soup base was a bit off. Despite ordering the spiciest version, it lacked the expected kick, so we had to create our own paste at the sauce bar. The overall quality of the meat was good, but for three people, the combo didn’t quite satisfy our appetites. We ended up ordering another meat combo with Special Fatty Beef, Marbled Beef, and Lamb Shoulder. Additionally, it’s worth noting that they charge for sauces separately for each person. It isn’t bad, but it leans toward the pricier side compared to other AYCE hotpot spots in the Bay Area.

First time coming here and walked out not being very impressed. First thing to know is that you will need your phone to make an order by scanning a QR code on a card stock mini menu on your table. The whole process is a bit confusing. You first have to choose what kind of soup base you want, how many people is it serving, do you want more than one type of soup? Then you add what you want to put in your soup, you can get combo plates of just meat, meat balls, veggies, tofu, etc. You can customize your own as well or go a la carte. I wish they had a family combo that way they just have the most popular items available. I think we spent close to 15 minutes trying to figure out how to order and what to order. It was rather overwhelming. As for service there really isn't much of that since you hardly ever see your server once they drop off your food unless you ring for them with a doorbell type button by the table. This place does have a nice atmosphere and decorations which makes it very cozy and warm. One thing I wish they also offered is a grill plate along side the hot pot to grill some meats. One thing I found that was kind of cheap was that they charge you for any type of sauce per person. They don't even include a bottle of plain soy sauce or table salt, etc. on your table. A meal for a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) was close to $100. We ordered the Miso and seaweed soup, combo meat plate, tofu combo, a bowl of Udon noodle, and a bowl of glass noodle. The plate of thinly sliced meat had four types of beef. Three of them were kind of tough and one of them was softer which I guess was the wagyu beef but it was the cheapest Dollar store type wagyu beef you can find. The main dish of any hot pot is of course the soup and the soup here was just ok... maybe a 6.5 out of 10. Overall, not impressed with the meal and the ordering process and how detached it is in a regular server-diner relationship. This is more important when you have a confusing ordering system with no description of what type of soup and what is inside the soup. Like, what is "Beef collagen t ow" soup? I guess you could always call the server with the door bell button but the times we stopped a server, they looked like they didn't have time and wanted to book it as soon as they finished whatever you asked of them. I guess for a first-time experience, it will probably be the last. I tried it and it was just OK but not that great that I will come back.

Probably some of the most disappointing hot pot of my life, I came here for the lunch special, and let’s just say the meal was very “jack of all trades, master of none” there was a lot of different things in the hot pot, but none of them were good. The beef was old and like rubber, the tofu stripes were all like rubber and tasted chemically. The shrimp was DISGUSTING. For $19/per person not including tax and tip, this was super disappointing. Not to mention we waited 30 minutes while being the only people here. The soup tasted artificial and was radioactive in color. The photo doesn’t even do it justice. Overall I would never recommend this place nor come back. There are better stores even in the mall itself. Not to mention the soup was salty as all hell, and there were literally flies hovering around the sauce stand.

This hotpot experience was below average, primarily due to the salty broth and the worst-quality beef I've ever encountered. With a price tag of $50 per person, it falls short of expectations. I wouldn't recommend it unless you find yourself with no other options. Plus, they don’t have side dish…..🥶🥶🥶🥶

This used to be my favorite hot pot place but the service has decreased significantly. We asked to pay and for containers to put our broth in. We had a punch card with 10 punches and I misread the card which says you get a free $50 combo plate which I didn't get as im vegan, which was also fine but my husband and i peeped that the male server after informing us we couldn't use the card brought the check but didn't bring any containers. As my husband was counting the money to pay for the meal the guy waited until he finished paying to bring the containers as if we were gonna run off with broth. We obviously have spent alot of money here to have 10 stamps so we definitely contributed it to him judging us based off the color of our skin. I planned to bring my daughter here for a mother daughter date but we will be going to mumu instead.

Been coming here for a while because family always drags me here, but this time was too much. Prices have been going up for months which is understandable but $4 for a tiny side of pickled radishes seems pretty crazy to me. The next big red flag was the black tea fountain machine that I unfortunately didn’t check before I used, because when I took a sip it tasted like beer. After looking inside the machine I could literally see bubbles and fermentation from how long they hadn’t cleaned the machine 🤢🤢. And when I thought things couldn’t get worse the actual first bite of the orange jello I took I found a piece of plastic. None of the workers seemed to care at all when I told them about these things, and to top it off the food was all mid at best too
