I never leave reviews but I will now. This evening 1/18/26 around 9:50 I went to this McDonalds for a late dinner because most things around are closing. I got a 10 piece and 2 cheeseburgers. Unfortunately the workers forgot my 2 cheeseburgers. It happens, we're all human. However, knowing food service in Daytona, especially fast food, I was preparing myself for a possible argument. However I just politely told the problem and a very nice woman in a Lilo and Stitch hoodie fixed the problem and gave me more fries for my trouble. No arguments or weird passive aggressive things just a simple apology and fixing the problem. All while being very pleasant. Thank y'all!
Went through drive through and the person taking my order/payment was extremely friendly and efficient... They had excellent customer service skills and actually put me at ease. Had to wait for cookies to bake, but they were fresh and tasty and my overall experience was great! Would frequent again!
Sometimes get completely right and sometimes they don’t all depends but tonight they weren’t that great normally they’re good during the afternoon but tonight they had a fish sandwich which it was red dipped into the oil I can tell cause I used to work from McDonald’s a long time ago and you guys need to change the grease it’s disgusting. It’s like taste in the rubber Fish. It’s that for what I paid for the meal it’s disgusting. I’m not too please I don’t even know if I wanna eat the rest of it. I might just save my receipt and come in and just throw it away and take pictures of what it look like cause it’s it’s hard to eat. This is probably the cleanest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Went for breakfast today and the staff was so happy, helpful, and friendly. We could hear them chatting in the back and they are like a family here. It’s very nice to see! Definitely recommend eating inside for breakfast at this location.

Food is like another McDonald's. Service for dine in sucks. Order at the kiosk and wait 10 mins for someone so you can pay at the counter with cash. Walk in people should be just as big a priority as drive thru.
Typical McDonald's nothing different.. app was causing them issues so I didn't end up getting any app special.. Love how they always say not our fault.. speaker person said window person would fix the issue.. Awful customer service. Eventually I make my way up to the first window to pay. The girl with the long red hair is taking an order I understand and wait. There are also 2 cars ahead of me so I couldn’t move anyway. As soon as she is done taking the order she leaves the window. Ok maybe she’s helping again I still can’t move anyway. Then the first car leaves and second moves up. She comes back to the window and takes another order and doesn’t acknowledge me. Fine she’s taking an order. The other car also leaves so now there is nobody in front of me. She then finishes the order and walks away again with saying anything or letting me know she will be with me soon. I sit there with nobody in front of me and nobody at the window so I left. They need better staff. Just a little communication goes a long way.
I decided to come here, order food, and hang out while waiting for my car to be finished at the mechanic. When I ordered, I asked the cashier what the soda refill policy was (since this location removed their self serve fountains). All she told me is that I am allowed 1 free refill (kind of annoying and stingy, but fine I guess). After eating my food and finishing my soda (about 35 mins after ordering), I go up to the same cashier and ask to redeem my one free refill. She (somewhat rudely) informed me that it has been longer than 30 minutes, so I am no longer entitled to one (didn’t tell me that when I asked originally about their policy). I then proceeded to ask how she knew it’s been more than 30 minutes, and was told that she saw me sitting when she was on break. She then told me that she wouldn’t make an exception, so I asked to speak to her supervisor. She went and brought the stores GM over (who was shockingly polite and professional). I explained my frustration with the whole ordeal and he told me that their refill policy is you are entitled to an unlimited number within the first 20 minutes, but don’t get any after that (still annoying and stingy, but completely different than what the original cashier told me). The GM did end up giving me a refill, however I am frustrated because the employees clearly don’t know their own policy, but also because the owner/operator of this location decided to be stingy and restrict free refills, when literally every other restaurant chain in the country allows them.
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent McDonald’s order, which was completely unacceptable from start to finish. I ordered a large fry, a 12-count of cookies, a double cheeseburger plain, two apple pies, and a large caramel frappe. Unfortunately, almost nothing about my order was correct or even edible. • I never received my 12-count cookies at all. • Both apple pies were burnt, clearly overcooked and not up to McDonald’s standards. • The caramel frappe was not blended properly, extremely icy, and impossible to drink. • The double cheeseburger was NOT plain, despite being ordered that way. • The large fries were cold, as if they had been sitting for an extended period. This experience was incredibly frustrating, especially considering the rising cost of fast food. When customers pay premium prices, they should at least expect accurate and edible food. This visit was a complete waste of money and time. I expect this issue to be taken seriously and properly addressed. I am extremely dissatisfied and hesitant to return after this experience. You guys Suck !!! Stop closing the store whenever you feel like it. Supposedly it's 24 hours but I've gone at midnight and yall are all inside goofin off and won't take customers . Leave people sitting in the driveway thinking yall are open. Get it together. Stop re frying food over and over. It's gross and people are spending money on this garbage. Atleast make it right. You all suck. Management sucks and you all need to be fired. If you cant work with the public and have zero customer service skills mow grass or something cause you all SUCK
Came in today for my mobile order thru the drive thru, the lady in the first window was very nice and helpful. But the people who made the food made me play a whole run around game saying wait at the 3rd window to receive my food and proceeded to hand everyone behind me they food and when I finally got home and opened the bag this is how they packed it very horrible service for whoever was working in the second window tonight

This is my closets McDonald's so I'm here quite often. However I'm sick of the service. You will be here 20 mins for sure... Your will always get pulled up to wait on food. The people are just untrained. Rude and horrible at their customer service job
Oct 29 2025 0730 I arrived at mcds with a mobile order in the drive-thru. I had an upcharge of $1.90 for a machine, but when I reached the window I was told the machine was down. I asked for a manager to come to the window so that I could have them remove the $1.90 upcharge before replacing it with a small fountain drink. The employee (female) whom was wearing a durag just stared at me, so I repeated from the passenger side of the vehicle "go get your manager they will need to remove this", she smirks and just states at me. I don't know if she is a "special buddy" but she did eventually get the manager who asked for my original card (which was my companies business card) she then told me to move up and took my card with her, so I got out of the car and followed inside. When I got inside I stood at the counter and watched the manager Ms.B walk around with my card asking employees what could she charge to refund me(no prob here just watching my card) while waiting I see and overhear "durag" and others making jokes and I asked "durag" excuse me what did you say. She said "you heard me".......okay no I didn't but I sounded like you were saying I'm broke and something about spending my last $1.90 at mcds??? She approached me and said "you heard what I said". I then said ok, get your manager. The manager stands there head down and listens to 18yr old "durag" disrespect me as a customer and insult me as being poor because I wanted my $1.90 back due to THEIR machine being down which I think is a reasonable request, don't you? I shouldn't be talked to and disrepected by multiple employees while No one is held accountable. Now the manager said her name is "Ms.B" I asked If that's what they put onn her paycheck and she said yes. I've owned multiple businesses and if my employees ever disrespected my customers "go home for day, I'd review camera and audio then let her go". Ms.B said she'd handle it, but while being disrespected "Ms.B put her head down and allowed her employee tp continuep "I had to dismiss "durag" and i told her the manager can take it from here now that she heard it for herself. I hope the owner sees this, reviews camera and holds their managers accountable if the owner sees fit, for their employees behavior and dresscode. The "durag" females name is tamika, and others including older black cook om south side of line. Disabled Combat Army Vet IOF/OIF 🇺🇸 hold each other accountable.
The Overnight manager at this location, the short stout woman with the box dyed orange hair is legitimately the most nasty, hateful person I have ever met in my life. I Can’t understand why McDonald’s would employ a person with such a horrible personality and awful customer service skills a manager, but that’s likely why they keep her on the overnight shift so she has minimal contact with customers. I could literally feel the hate and contempt for othersoozing out of this woman. She had seven delivery drivers waiting for her at the little window by the door, and she’s inside running her mouth, not working on the orders, ignoring us. so a couple of us go to the drive-through and she Very rudely snaps to me that we have to go to the window by the door. When I replied that I’ve been by the window and waited for more than five minutes and nobody came or acknowledged me, she legit yelled at me! I came to the drive-through because I have a timeframe in which I have to deliver this order and don’t have time to wait for her to Finish yapping. She was absolutely intentionally trying to make the delivery drivers run late. I really hate to even talk like this about somebody and for me to leave a scathing review such as this is really unlike me but also shows the degree of disgust I have with the way this woman treats people. If I wasn’t in the second pickup of my double store order I would’ve just cancelled it and left because of her! What a horrible, horrible horrible representation she is of your brand and franchise.
i have been to this mcdonald’s multiple times & every time i try to give them the benefit of the doubt. this morning was the last time as i went for breakfast. i went out of my way as i usually do for breakfast & come to this one because i have many animals & an early schedule. i couldn’t eat my breakfast til an hour & a half later & find out 9$ out of the 11$ i spent wasn’t in my bag. i called & they refused to let me come back to get what i payed for without my receipt. i’ve never gotten a receipt from mcdonalds, now i always will (not from here i won’t be back i’ll drive an extra 15 minutes because this one you have to wait at least 25 minutes in line anyway). i told them i have proof of payment, time, the date description of me, my car & would bring back my uneaten oatmeal so i could receive my sandwich. the worst part is they said i did receive it as i was looking in my bag finally ready to eat with a missing sandwich in awe because mcdonald’s never makes mistakes right? (sarcasm) i did not receive it. they know who i was when i called because of my description i gave & i had very lengthy conversations with 2-3 employees waiting on my meal for over 25 minutes with only 1-2 cars ahead of me. made it felt very strange to have them say “no i gave it to you” but im still without it. i also called back after realizing even tho i don’t have my receipt i do have proof on my bank account & they answered with “911 how may i help you” this mcdonald’s needs to get shut down. before that, another time, i waited in line for over 30 min & they gave my meal to the lady ahead of me plus her meal but almost didn’t give my meal cus i didn’t have a receipt showed them my bank account & obviously the lady that i also had a 10 minute conversation at that time knew i had paid. but didn’t ask the lady ahead of me for her receipt for the second order? the way i’ve had real conversations with these people waiting on my food but the moment it comes to their job & my order is wrong or anything they become very disrespectful. i wish mcdonald’s had corporate because this location should not be open. it’s very sad. go out of ur way more because it’s insane how they mess with their paying customers who have only showed respect & get the opposite back.
I was already hesitant about going to this McDonald’s because, honestly, the experience is almost always disappointing. The food quality is consistently poor—sometimes you wait 2 minutes, sometimes 20, with no telling what you’ll get when you finally reach the window. The biggest problem for me is the sandwiches. The people making them do this all day, every day, but every time I open one it looks like it was thrown together in the dark. The buns are curled up or smushed, the patties are uneven, the pickles and onions are all dumped on one side, and the ketchup (if it’s even there) is splattered anywhere but where it should be. It makes me lose my appetite immediately. On top of that, the general atmosphere is just sad. The employees don’t seem to care, and it shows in the food. The one bright spot was speaking with the manager, Steven. He actually seemed to care and took the time to listen. From my own experience working inside this McDonald’s as an electrician, I can honestly say Steven stands out as someone who deserves much better than what this place allows him to do. If I could, I’d hire him myself just to give him a better future. Overall, this location desperately needs improvement. The only thing keeping it from being a total loss is that they’ve got one good manager Steven.
This McDonald’s is where iced coffee goes to die. The drive-thru wait times are a joke—consistently 10+ minutes whether it’s 5:00a.m. or the middle of the afternoon. You’d think they were hand-crafting gourmet espresso drinks with that kind of delay. SPOILER: they’re not. Let’s talk about the coffee. Or whatever this is supposed to be. I’ve ordered a simple vanilla iced coffee—nothing fancy—probably 30 times in the last six months, and maybe three were remotely correct. Most of the time, it’s either a pale, milky mess that tastes like regret, or jet-black battery acid with a splash of what I can only assume is melted sadness. I don’t know if the creamer machine is broken, uncalibrated, or if the staff just makes it up as they go. Honestly, it feels like they spin a wheel behind the counter labeled “What kind of disaster should we serve today?” The staff seems baffled by the concept of following basic instructions. "Vanilla iced coffee, regular cream, regular flavoring" somehow gets translated into “Here’s a lukewarm milkshake with a hint of bitterness and existential despair.” Frankly, the owner and Store Manager of this location should be ashamed. This isn’t just bad service—it’s franchise malpractice. Take the keys, bulldoze the building, and plant a tree in its place. Something—anything—would be a better use of this real estate. I’m done. Permanently. I hope anyone reading this review thinks twice before giving them one more cent. There are better McDonald's locations within driving distance—hell, a gas station coffee machine would give you a more consistent drink with better service. UPDATE: despite multiple survey reviews complaining about the iced coffee issue, apparently corporate doesn't care either, because it's been months and nothing is changed.
I stopped in this place two Saturdays in a row and got the same quality of food the second time even after I asked for fresh food. I asked the girl that took my money to please make my food fresh and I asked if there was new management and she said yes so that explains exactly why my food quality has gone down to zero. They are taking old fries and warming them back up in the oil and they are giving out all dried up patties on their burgers left over from the rush after customers freshly made food. Whoever the new manager there, I’m sure is getting better in his drive-through and all that but the food quality is terrible and they are breaking mcdonalds policy Selling food at McDonald’s would not be OK with them selling. I will never go back to this again and this might be the reason I never go to McDonald’s again
