My favorite pizza place in the neighborhood
The best pizza they got that old school taste
It's very good to eat there. You do need to be vaccinated to stay though. Pizza has variety, delicious. Have variety of drinks, clean place and has Italian ices.
If you want the best tasting pizza EVER go to Royal Pizza & Restaurant on Myrtle in NYC. O.M.G its to die for. The crust and toppings are out of this world. Not like the SLOP we get in Canada. I wish Royal could tell me how they make their crusts so i can make them at home. This place is well worth the stop over for lunch or dinner. MAKE SURE YOU STOP! Amazing!!!
One of the best pizza places around. Even if you're not feeling like eating pizza they have so many other great options. Definitely stop by here if you're around.
This place has really great pizza. It's your classic NY slice with some interesting options. The place looks unassuming but the pizza is amazing.
Really chill old school pizza spot. The chicken cutlet slices were amazing...and the service was amazing and sweet. I will be back earlier next time 😊😊
Best pizza I had in a while, greeted as I entered, table constantly cleaned, and wide selection to choose from.
This is the place to go to get not only good and fine jewerly... but to get your kids ears pierced...he has done all 3 of my girls from my 12 yr old to now my 7 month old...Nd great customer service
This is honestly THE best pizza in NYC! The dough is delicious! Its overall an extremely satisfying slice. 🙏🙏
best pepperoni with ranch slice in the neighborhood imo. could be that it’s steps away, but seriously they’ve been meeting my cravings lately.
I enjoy royal pizza
Royal Pizza is easily one of the best spots on Staten Island. The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the flavors are exactly what you want when you’re craving great pizza. Their pies come out perfectly every time — crispy on the bottom, soft inside, and loaded with quality toppings. The sauce has that perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the cheese pull is always on point. The staff is super friendly and fast, and they make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice, ordering dinner for the family, or getting something delivered, Royal Pizza never misses. If you’re in Staten Island and want real, solid, New York–style pizza, Royal Pizza absolutely lives up to its name. Highly recommend! 🍕
Definitely one of the top pizzerias in the area for many years. Still going strong and tasting good
My daughter loves pizza, so we've been to several pizzerias in Brooklyn and Queens. This spot met all my expectations: good customer service, good pizza, good prices. We recommend this place
Another pizza Sunday and we went with Royal pizza as we make our way through all the pies in the neighborhood. This one did not disappoint with the big floppy slice and very generous with the cheese. We ordered over the phone and although they were really busy the guy on the phone was super nice. Our order consisted of a large pie with half Hawaiian and half pepperoni. The crust is on the softer side with a nice chew and heavy with toppings making it a very filling slice and upon folding gives a nice big thick bite. We also got baked ravioli which was super tasty and swimming in sauce and cheese so make sure to order knots or garlic bread to get all that good stuff. All in all another tasty classic New York pizza in our area but definitely hit these guys up if you want a big satisfying piece of pizza with a ton of cheese that’s super comforting.
Royal Pizza is the best in the neighborhood if you’re looking for classic NYC pizza. I always get the large cheese pizza for pickup and have been coming here consistently for years. Also, they’ve been in business since 1977. Iconic
Best pizza in Bushwick
Good food
Good slices
A little pricey but good pizza!
Pacifica Pizza place with friendly owners and workers. Been going there for years.
The chicken ceaser salad was to die for.
Great food, even better price
They serve good pizza.
Their prices does not match from the Google Map
Great pizzas of all types, very good prices, the place is always pack
Pizza is good. Order an hour and a half before you want the food slow delivery
Good pizza. We were able to sit and social distance.
The food was average
Been eating here for years. Needs more variety in order pizza toppings
Always good to come back home and eat here! I brung a friend to ny it was her first time and we had a whole cheese pie. She ask me what kind of topping was on it because it was soo good! Been going here since i was young!
Royal Pizza specialty plates are worth stoping by for. My wife and I are regularly there to eat. You must try the Shrimp Parmesan over Penne w/ Tomato sauce. Oh! Add garlic knots.
Well this place is not as good as Tony's on Knickerbocker. They need to up their game on flavor. But I guess if you're down that area and you're really hungry you can pick up a pizza there. I would but it doesn't make it the greatest
I like their pizza, they have a variety of ingredients and soft drinks. Its dough is crunchy and delicious.
Their pizza and sicilian pies are very tasty and the portions are good. I cannot stand when a delivery person who is miles away accepts my order because I live about 6 blocks and they can take an hour to deliver. I’m adding a photo of their sicilian pie which was delicious. The pepperoni pieces were added by me not them, I buy pepperoni slices and chop them up myself to save money lol. I would not recommend the lasagna, It was swimming in oil.
The pizza was good, lots of seating available, the staff wasn’t paying too much attention and almost burned the slices though but they were still good.
Royal Pizza reminds me a lot of the pizzarias I grew up with in NJ. The decor of the restaurant was similar as well with the red booths. The staff were very kind and put their best foot forward near closing time. Their specialty slices were delicious and hold on to the topping very well. The crust is good but I'd prefer it to be a little bit crispier. With that being said you can definitely crisp your crust at home in the oven (which I did) but I won't count this against them. My review is entirely based off of taste. The pizza was perfectly made but I do wish it had a bit more flavor. It wasn't bland but the slices I had should have had more flavor. They were filling. They were cooked to perfection. I just wanted a bit more flavor. Especially the broccoli chicken slice which was excellent but under seasoned.
Best pizza on the Ave. Their shell's were very good. Their sauce, forget abooout it. The sicilian slices had the taste someone's grandmother made it. Tends to be crowded, they follow safety protocol. I recommend this joint.
It's okay
Ok sicilia not pizza good view
Didn't need the serenata
I love this pizza spot but like so much in the neighborhood the flavor has changed
Pizza was good. Sherbert was good. Facility was hot and thee weren't a lot of fixing available.
Love THERE pizza but surely NOT there ATTITUDE.. THEY r Not to WELCOMING:(
Solid slice.definitly good for a slice on the go or something when you get on the way to the train.
Been around Myrtle for a long time this pizzeria I remember coming out the movie theaters and going straight to eat pizza at that pizzeria
Imma be fr Pizza's great n all, but $4 for a slice of pizza? Naa they tripping cause it used too be like 2$ or something.
Food is good, definitely for the price.
This use to be good spot to get a slice. The quality has gone down and the price is way too high
The SERVICES IS HORRIBLE YOU GOTTA MAYBE WAIT UNTIL SOMEONE COME OVER TO TAKE MY ORDER THIS MAKES ME SO DISGUSTED.
Got 2 Philly with Uber Eats and they were "MEH", not a lot of meat and they were pretty much tasteless 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Food is okay but staff is very impolite. Forgot the order that I asked for and was extremely rude.
disappointed. had a language issue i guess that made it hard to place my order. paid 23 for a margarita pie that was.. not what i expected. the sauce was sweet so i give a star for that. i asked for a soda for my pie and the women explained to me that i dont get a free soda b.c my total isnt 26. i never asked for free anyway. its 3.50 still never got that soda. spoke w. a manager who said itll come. pizza cold and hard. no soda. ill edit my review if that soda ever does show up. im cooking tea over here to drink w. my pie disappointing.
Not impressed at all. Ask for two "hot" slices and got it semi warm which prob altered the taste cause the hotter the better but the sauce wasn't all that and the crust too thick. Prob only eat here again if pie is fresh out the oven.
Feels like the skimp on ingredient quality. In particular, cheese tastes like plastic. The pizza is still the same price as other much better pizza.
I called and asked about regular large pie. Lady says is $22.00 and i think for the greasy type pie it shouldnt be $22.00 (maybe 17 i would be ok) Then i asked to see how much for a small regular cheess pie and the lady said $20.00 I was just angry to see how they price their pizza and the deminor when i said for 2 dollars extra ill just get the large one. I just felt it didnt make any sense 2 dollards less. This is the effin last time i even think of this place. So many other more affordable and cleaner.
Just moved into the neighborhood and first place I chose to order from was Royal... It was a Sunday evening and I figured it would be simple just to order a Royal Special #3 with pepperoni... I was so wrong... I got a plain cheese pie and half the wings that comes with the special... Exactly three weeks later I called to place an order for delivery was for a Penne A La Vodka $12.50. First, NO WHERE on the takeout menu does it state there's a $15 minimum for a delivery... So I decided to pick up my order... Second, on the menu my order comes with grilled chicken. I get to counter at Royal and was asked to pay $7.50.?.? WHERE'S MY GRILLED CHICKEN??? That same man that messed my order the first time struck again... I will NEVER order from Royal. The incompetents is TOO REAL!!!
Stop trying to guess what I want and just let me tell you......damn.
I was going to order a delivery but the guy who answered the phone was totally rude!!
Terrible service. Charged $4 for a slice when the menu says $2.75. When I asked to see the prices they couldn't find it on the menu.
I like this place for a quick slice during lunch time but after today never again. The guy behind the counter was counting a stack of money to pay some delivery, when I gave my order I noticed he didn’t wash his hands. I asked him could he wash his hands since I saw him touch money but instead he became defensive and answered angrily he wasn't going to touch the food so I walked out. During this second hike in COVID cases, this guy is not following safe and healthy procedures, not even wearing gloves. Be safe everyone!
Delivery driver called to tell me he was outside in his car. I told him the door code should be on the online delivery instructions. He said ok. 15 minutes later I got a call from the restaurant saying he’s waiting outside still. I said if he can’t deliver it I might have to cancel. She said “ok” then hung up. She then told the driver to leave without saying anything to me. Then she tried to claim she told me he can’t come up, which is not true. Ordered from somewhere else.
I have a pie with buffalo chicken on it 🤮 worst decision. They dint even use fresh chicken they use breaded chicken that they had there for God knows how long. It was just nasty. The regular pie was ok...
Pizza, and wings were horrible!! We had 4 different types of slices, and not one was good. I also got sick afterwards.
Very Lazy people with messy food. Does order late as always
I usually love going to this spot but maybe their bit of popularity is getting to their heads. I called to place an order and they put me on hold but I could still hear them talking. After 5 minutes I call them back and express how frustrating that was but instead of apologizing they ask if I'm going to place an order or not, when I asked if that's how they treat their customers they just hung up on me. I'm so glad they're so many other great pizza shops around the area.
