Britta Take Away Riomaggiore Reviews
Yummm. I got the Ligure pizza (tomato sauce, cheese and pesto) and it was delicious! Exactly what I was craving. I got the medium for 1 person and I had it for lunch and dinner (4 large, thin crust slices… 12”? Not sure the size exactly).
Great onion focaccia! Soft, fluffy, oily, and everything I wanted from a slice of focaccia.
I am unable to eat gluten. Being senza glutine in Italy was no problem. Especially with naturally gluten free regional food like Farinate. Ate the farinata here everyday (3) that I was Riomaggiore. The perfect takeaway to go to the beach for the afternoon. Get there early for the pesto, it goes fast! If it’s gone you can request fresh basil added to the semplice.
We shared a Margherita pizza and a Calzone (plus some lemon and blood orange sodas). Everything was really tasty.
Should have a higher rating, the pizza and olive focaccia were lovely and the drinks in the fridge were very affordable.
Thicker crust than other pizzas I’ve gotten in Italy, which seems to be the source of the negative reviews, but I enjoyed the pizza
Delicious focaccia and pizza
Lovely staff, food and value. What more could you want!
Delicious pesto and focaccia! Great coffee. Courteous service. Worth a stop!

We had the smoothie bowls which were a bit soupy but we were expecting that since the fruits used for the base were not frozen. The taste was great though and we were so relieved to find a healthy …
The focaccia sandwich I had here was the best focaccia sandwich I had in Italy on the whole trip. Very reasonably priced takeaway for a great lunch idea. Highly recommend.
We came here for lunch after it was recommended by our Airbnb hosts as one of the few pizza places in Riomaggiore to use fresh dough. It's takeaway only but there are benches right outside to sit and eat. On the first day, we ordered the quattro formaggi pizza which was delicious so we could see why it was recommended. A few days later, we came back again in the evening. Unfortunately our second pizza (pesto) was not as good as the base was very different. Not sure if they had run out of fresh dough by that time of day, but we were slightly disappointed after our first pizza was so good.
Delicious pizza 👌🏾 Do yourself a favour and order one, then take it down to the marina and eat it with a view of the sea! The pizza itself was great. No it’s not sourdough or wood fired, but for takeaway pizza it’s great and the toppings were plentiful and fresh. Myself and my partner shared a “big”size and it filled us up with just enough room left for gelato. Oh and be sure to try the lemon moretti drink! Really refreshing and so easy to drink.

Wouldn’t recommend the gluten free pizza’s here, can’t speak for the non-gluten free but the base of my pizza was soggy and didn’t have a very nice taste. Shame as there are so many positive reviews and good value for money.
Pesto focaccia was dry but my ortners pomodoro focaccia was nicer. Lovely older man working in the kitchen and happy to help with the language barrier (English speaking). The lady who served us wasn’t that interested and called us stupido under her breath. Customer service is customer service no matter where your customers come from.
Served the wrong pizza. The pizza we did get was very “fine” - similar to Home Run Inn. But they were quick and the pizza was hot.
Food is terrible. Ordered 4 pieces, 2 were wrong undercooked and legit tasted horrible. Girl serving is miserable. Never again
Worst pizza ever.
