This taqueria was very clean! The kitchen, dining room, salsa bar and the bathrooms were very clean! The service was super friendly and had a great atmosphere! It felt like home there. The food was Authentic and delicious. The serving size was very good, i couldnt even finish my taco salad., the salsa a la diabla was soooo spicy and delicious and i know i said delicious twice but sheesh. Thats how good it was. We are definitely coming back here and recommend this taqueria to anyone looking for delicious authentic Mexican food.
This was a special place for my mama and her mama.. every year they would come to this restaurant for Nanas birthday. When she passed a few years ago, we continued to come here for Nanas' birthday. My mama loved this place, and unfortunately, she passed prematurely (Feb 25th 2025) so now my dad and I come here, and it is a bittersweet experience every time we walk through the door I can still see my mama at the table we sat at to enjoy our food. Today's visit was just as great. My anemia gets the best of me at times, and I was telling my dad that I was super cold and without hesitation, the kind lady that took our order turned the fans off. It's little things like that that will keep us coming back.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and now I come with my own kids. The pastor tacos are nostalgic to me it’s a unique crispy flavor and the taste has always stayed the same

Ahhhhmazing! This by far is the best!!! The food is not only amazing but so fresh and the owners are so kind I ordered a burrito with all my demands and let me tell you it is the best burrito I have ever had. They did exactly what I order and it is perfection. This is an Escalon gem! This will be my go to for Mexican food. Do yourself a favor and give it try. You won’t be sorry. I know I will be back!

We had a great experience. Salsas were fresh and had great flavor. Lent I had a bean and rice burrito. So I couldn’t speak on meats. But tortilla was fresh and beans were fresh.
Food was amazing, tons of flavor and the super burrito was to die for with its price. The time they made it was insanely fast. Overall a great Mexican restaurant 10/10

This hole in the wall is a gem! Good sized portions for reasonable prices and the food is always fresh and tasty. They also have a nice salsa bar with plenty of choices. The employees are friendly with a smile. I give it 5 stars because in its class it's perfect!

This place has very good food. It took 10 to 15 minutes for the food to come but still it was good. Their salsa and walkimoli is amazing. I ordered 2 of the beef tacos and honestly I was surprised it was pretty good 👍. I recommend going to this place because of the very fast service and the amazing food.

It is actually great food. And of course wonderful chips and salsa. We go frequently to buy 32 oz’s of salsa for home.

One of very few places open late on a Sunday after returning from the Sierra. Ordered a huarache with asada and a regular chicken burrito that I shared with one of my kids. The huarache was good but had a bit too much lettuce. The burrito was very dry and no flavor. Not even the salsa helped, didn't finish it. The salsa bar had many options with about 5 salsas, only one salsa was spicy in our opinion, and other options, radishes, jalapeños, etc. Chips were tasty, not greasy. Quesadilla de pollo was huge and heard no complaints from my son. Asada fries were good with the fries crunchy on outside and soft inside. Probably the best item ordered. The enchiladas were average in taste with a lot of cheese on top. Service was quick and friendly. Prices average for these items nowadays.

I’m sure their food is good and all but I’m not sure at this point. I ordered a burrito de asada mojado and the meat was not it. Every bite I took had pieces of nerve, chewy parts of the meat. 🤢 idk if it was intentional or what, since my mom got a regular asada burrito and she had no complaints.

I been coming to this restaurant for years, but won’t return. We drove about 30 minutes for our order when we got back home we noticed they gave us the wrong order, so We called to tell them, ( not for them to replace our order ) but they told us they would credit us for their mistake. So a week later my wife and I go in to get our correct order and the staff was really rude, And They said that they weren’t going to honor the credit because the worker who took our order the first time was not the same one as the one who was there today.
