Best chipotle on LI. This establishment was Clean and fast. Lately I feel that chipotle was falling off but this place was like chipotle had been 10 years ago. Also, the young lady wrapping burritos made 3 works of art with no ripped tortillas.

This Chipotle location is great. They just opened up a few days ago, so everything is nice and clean. I ordered my usual sofritas burrito bowl, and everything was fresh and delicious. It has everything you know and love from other locations. Next time I go back, I plan on getting the burrito with a side of chips, which I love very much.

Love Chipotle. As far as this one goes, rice was perfect, just wish there was more care used between placing items in food request. My daughter has allergies to milk related products, so I get super nervous when people appear careless when serving her. The people are pleasant enough.

Online ordering did not work on July 29 in Riverhead location so I went to the location and they would not allow you to order the quesadillas which can only be ordered online. Manager has no idea on servicing customers and then watched the other person make a shitshow of the burrito I ordered in place of it. Do not know why I still go here. Update Aug 17, went back and the food quality improved from my last visit and was very satisfied with the food this time. Since the online ordering on the app worked, there were no issues. The chips were crispy, the guacamole was awesome and the tacos and bowl we ordered were as good as they have been in the past. I understand there are bad days, but wish corporate would allow their managers to be flexible when the systems are down to permit items which can only be ordered online can be ordered in the store as their sales would probably increase for those items. Changed rating from visit as food was previously marked a 3 and service a 1.

Food was good...unfortunately when I went the rice was under cooked so every other bite I felt like I was chewing on a pebble lol but besides that and the super fatty piece of Barbacoa hey put in my burrito It was good. One thing I can say about chipotle is that they're food always tastes fresh...lettuce always got a crunch I wish their corn salsa was a bit sweeter lately it's been a bit salty or bland but in general I'd choose chipotle over anywhere else just because of the freshness quality...in GENERAL they do a good job here..I've had only one or 2 times when I wasn't happy with my food but they made sure to fix it for me so that's good. Also they don't just leave your food sitting out if you do a mobile order..because half the time alot of these places just put ur food on a shelf and ur food is stolen before u get there by some random hungry broke person who was scheming on the to go shelf lol. So that's a plus.. all around nice people and good food. Just...cook ur rice until it's COOKED. I know u guys use a rice cooker so make sure ur ratio of rice and water and oil/butter is correct...it's an easy fix. 💯🤷🏽‍♀️🌯🍚👨🏾‍🍳 oh...their queso leaves alot to be desired..when it comes to the quest competition nobody and I mean NOBODY can beat moes...sorry not sorry lol. But chipotle wins in general.

More expensive than I thought, but then saw that guacamole ($5.00 each) and queso (?) cost extra. All in all, pretty good. This was the first time we have ever visited Chipotle. Staff was very friendly and answered all of questions without seeming annoyed. Food was fresh and the correct temp (hot or cold). Portions were plentiful too.

It’s really a hit or miss here sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s not but that’s okay because yesterday I went in and it was great ! What’s great too is that I bought in coco… so they’re pet friendly !

We love this Chipotle. We come once a week. The customer service is great and the food is just like one would expect at Chipotle. However... the last four times, they ran out of something important on the menu during prime weekend dinner hours. First was ice. No big deal. Second was gauc. Third was chips and guac. Most recently was chicken, corn, and guac. For the first time ever as a Chipotle fan, we went elsewhere for dinner. We hope this isn’t a regular occurrence.

One of the worst Chipotle's. Second only to the one in Holbrook. Disgusting cleanliness, they NEVER change their gloves. Wipe the tables and serve food with the same gloves. I watched them mess with the garbage and then go back to the serving line. Wait times are abhorrent.

Outside is better to sit because inside has little dirty on the floor, very dark.

There is literally no other dining option in the area for quick food. Because of that, it was very busy and the upkeep of the tables was lacking at best.

Chipotle is a great fast food restaurant with Healthy choices and the service is great. The atmosphere.. they’ve got to FIND A WAY to clean up the floors at LEAST. The tables are usually sticky, floors covered in rice, napkins, and who knows what. The cleanliness should be improved for sure.

It took me 22 mins to get chicken for a burrito bowl while on my 30 minute break. All while the staff played on their cell phones and goofed about but hey who needs food on their break, lol. Not to mention the very toddler sized protein amounts. Never ever again.

2 employees working their tails off. Store was so unbelievably dirty. Not a clean table to sit at. No visible manager. My server who was awesome was doing his best. Seemed like all the other employees were hiding in the back because by the time we left there were 6-7 employees. Chicken bowl was great though.

The food was tasty and fresh. However we got the impression that everything was measured or portion controlled in plain sight. Not something we appreciate. This was our first visit to Chipotle. Unclear whether we will go back.

We got here at 8:15 there was no white rice left and no ice. They close at 11, how could there be no white rice or ice left when they are open for another 3 hours? The entire to go area had no food - it seems they cut corners and it reads to me as lazy because they don’t want to replace the rice or make more white rice.

Well I ate here. The workers there were great - but the location is terrible. I can't believe someone thought a car dealership was a good spot for a restaurant... and the kitchen just looks inadequate for making food that's why the food was far, far below Chipotle standards and hardly eatable.

Food and service was great. But the place is filthy. Filthy tables, filthy floor and trash cans packed with garbage. The owner needs to hire more staff and a competent manager.

Ordered my food and while they gave good portions the rice was severely undercooked. I hate having rice that still has the hard center. Couldn’t even finish the meal had to toss it.

As soon as we walked in, we saw that everything was dirty. Tables were dirty, and the person who was cleaning the tables used a dirty rag with an AWFUL smell that ruined our appetite. It makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is.

Place is a pig sty. Last 3 times there the tables were dirty and the floor had food all over. It was like a food fight happened. 3 strikes for them. Never again.

What on earth is the pricing here? Rice bowl with plant protein and guacamole, listed at 9.95 ended up costing $16. Are these people charging $6 for guacamole?? Ridiculous Edit: Came back 2 years later because someone gave me a gift card. Make sure you know what the value of the card is beforehand and get a reciept to keep with it if you have $$ left over. Definately had them miss-scan the card and then reset the value incorrectly. Oh well I guess

Restaurant was filthy! The kitchen in the back had food scraps everywhere. It was gross. All of the tables in restaurant were filthy so cleaned my own table literally. Clearly they are understaffed and overworked. Management: do better. Food was mediocre at best.

Normally eat in person and very happy with quality and portions. Got take out for first time and regret it. Foods still good but portion size was less than half as normal. Didn't even reach the top of the bowl let alone the cover. They used to squish down the cover on a salad. Barely had any of each ingredient. I counted 5 tiny pieces of steak. Ripp off. Don't know if it's new portion sizing or just a cheap prepper. After a long day of work and doing errands, last thing I want is to find out at home, that I'm only eating half of what I normally pay for and expected. I'm still hungry.

Would give more stars if just about everything didn't have cilantro on it. You can get plain rice but most of the toppings have cilantro in it. Tastes like dish soap so I guess I won't be back.

I got one chicken bowl with extra protein. Rice was super salty and if you dont like the fat, you should separete the fat from chicken. I paid $18 for this food.I could not finish. So it was bad experience. Personal was nice but food is not.

The food is great, however the entire place was filthy. Garbage cans were overflown, tables and floors were dirty, and the food prep area was filthy also.

I always try to avoid ordering from here cause they just never seem to get it right and my rice is almost always never cooked. Today a few coworkers were ordering and as I forgot lunch I figured I’ll give it another try. Welp, BAD IDEA. I’ve never been so sick in my life.

Found some unusual thick slimey fluid in the queso, looked & felt & stuck together like snot apart from the regular queso cheese dip. They are not practicing safe and clean work habits here. Check your food.

If I Could give zero stars I would , I was there on Sunday this weekend in the afternoon . Once we entered the tables we dirty , long line waited 30 min to get our food the guy that was serving the food literally was so slow to wrap a burrito and serve the food .Plus the portions were so small . Then the rice was undercooked, the steak had absolutely not flavor, the guacamole had a piece of carrot inside . I don’t recommend anyone going to this chipotle. (the lady behind us had place a mobile order and they still took long time ) definitely not going back there is better food to eat down the road .

The absolute worst place. Has like 2 people working and says online orders only. Yet no kiosks and no wifi service. Absolute Worst Chipotle, food has been so inconsistent. Not to mention, now if you don’t have a mask, don’t even bother going. You’re made to wait in line and then when it’s your turn to order they kick you out. As you’re being kicked out they tell you, you can order online and come back in (without a mask), to pick up. Must be the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I left without incident, but don’t even think about questioning them, or they make a huge scene in front of the entire establishment (which they did you the man with his two daughters in line behind me). Starting to make more and more sense why these places aren’t nearly as busy anymore. Awful food, awful customer service and idiotic policies. I don’t know how anyone with common sense could work there.

This is the second time in one week that my family have had a problem with our order from the RIVERHEAD store. There is ONE female employee in particular that everyone I know who orders from RIVERHEAD complains about. Her portions are stingy, at best! Last time it was a pick up order (disgusting, skimpy portions), the same female employee was behind the counter that evening. Tonight we placed another order, this time it was a delivery order. Originally the delivery time was 7:15pm then arrive 20mins after that. The bag was wet on the bottom & when we took it into the house the food fell out of the bag, landing on my floor & spilling all over my new carpet at the entry way!😡 As we were cleaning up the mess off of the floor, it was obvious that the order was, once again, skimpy, missing the vegetables that were ordered & missing the chips that were ordered. When we TRY to rectify the situation, we are left with no option other than dealing with an automated call center which is useless in resolving the issue. After wasting time answering a series of automated question I am told that I would be connected to the RIVERHEAD store. The phone rings & rings but no one answers the phone. It’s obvious that the RIVERHEAD Chipotle is incompetent & not managed properly, if managed at all. Once again, Chipotle has our money but we have no food, hungry family members & a stain on my carpet. Don’t waste your time or money at this store. They don’t care about customer service, at all!

Please everyone dnt go to this place specially in afternoon or day time because the people are very rude and they have no respect for customers and they are very scared to put fair enough food portions.if you want to waste your money and pay for nothing then try going there and there is no manager on the floor who can check on the first shift staff what they are doing and how they are serving food and how they talk to their customers and specialy skinny guy on the cashier.

You can't call the store. All I wanted to do was verify that my order went through correctly because my 2 receipts were saying 2 different things. After 20 minutes on the phone with a messaging system, it sent me to a person to speak to finally, not at the store, who told me there is nothing she can do and redirected me back to the automated messaging system. Why can't someone just answer the phone at the store?

Theres always an issue with picking up food here. This site is so inefficiently run. Every-time i’ve gone in the past and placed a time for pick-up, its never ready on time so today I placed my order 15 minutes so my friend could pick it up - he arrived 30 minutes after the pick-up time and they said they threw it out because they were calling my name for an hour which is no way true. Why would you even throw out food that’s already paid for? I’ve never had issues with other chipotle this one is always understaffed and a mess.

Twice in the past week have they run out of essential menu items. Very first chiptole to not serve the rice with cilantro either. Horribly under seasoned is an understatement. The staff is great, but please for chiptole sake serve the stuff people come for...

Very poor customer service experience with MANAGER. Rude.waiting 25 min for them to cook food. When I asked to speak to a manager 2x. she told me she was allowed to have a break.l did not ask her if she was on break. She rudely said to me do you want the food or not. I left the restaurant. I go to this Chipolte at least once a month. I went there for lunch today. The dining room was absolutely disgusting. The floor was littered with napkins and food. Virtually every table had food and filth from previous guests. There were maybe 10 people eating in the dining room so it was not very busy. It appeared that this mess was there for some time and not due to it being busy. I ended up eating in my car. Also the ice machine, for fountain drinks wasn't working and frankly I can remember the last time it did. It's been many months since I recall the ice machine working. Lastly I got sick about an hour after eating. And I never get sick ever. Not at any fast food restaurants. I will never go to this Chipotle again.

Just ordered a burrito bowl and is 90% the wrong rice. Basically 5lbs and 1000 calories or rice a jack all ingredients. They forgot half the order. This is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to, I’m consistently disappointed by this location. Total clown shoes, definitely my last order.

I told the server making my burrito I was allergic to avocados after he stopped helping me to fill the request for a small side of guacamole for the guest ahead of me, and he just stomped off instead of continuing to make the burrito. Then the other employee comes over and just starts man-handling the burrito ingredients without swapping gloves. It was quite an off-putting experience. Add to that the disarray the seats were in with food scraps atop and below the tables made finding the single clean table as gloomy as the hunt for red October. It is a blessing I do not live near this location and only had this trauma befall me on a day trip

Doordashed from here. Steak bowl with a bunch of stuff on it and a Mexican Coke. Got a bowl of chicken and lettuce with no stuff and no Coke. Stop giving out the wrong order, dudes.

Always missing something from our orders at the Riverhead Chipotle. I ordered using the app. This time it was all the sauces and dressings and chips. Salad was bland and soggy and missing ingredients that were ordered. I put in a complaint and got a credit for chips and guacamole which I probably will not use because I already wasted $40 on terrible food.

This place is the ABSOLUTE worst chipotle I have ever been to. I have given this place many chances and every time I go something is wrong. One they took 10 min to get my change to me. Avoid this place. They have a mask policy even though the indoor mandate was lifted. You can stand in line without a mask but once you reach the counter you will not be able to place an order. Employees weren't wearing masks covering their nose, a few feet behind you no one in the dining room is masked up. Moe's is far better.

My father ordered catering for his party and he didn’t receive half of the items including cheese, corn, guacamole etc. I am extremely disappointed as someone who usually loves chipotle and their service. I have been trying to reach out directly to a chipotle representative for a refund but I haven’t been able to do so. All the automated service guides are terrible. For these reasons, I am giving this restaurant 1/5 stars. I would give 0/5 if that was an option. I would never recommend getting catering from this location!

No one smiles no one of happy. Food bins all empty. Countertop dirty. Asked to taste and got face and attitude. Tables dirty. But still charged full price. Ended up with white lime rice with cilantro which when asked server said it was just white rice. NEVER GOING BACK.

This restaurant is filthy. The tables and the floors were full of dirt and garbage. I told the manager and he shrugged his shoulders. There were 4 people working and no customers so they certainly had time to attend to the dining room. The manager clearly has no pride in his store. Shame on him. When I told him I was going to write a bad review his reply was “go have at it!”

Went in at 930, over an hour before closing and they did not have half of the things on the menu along with every table being disgustingly dirty with food EVERYWHERE. They did not have tofu or queso and no one offered to make more yet charged full price when i was only left with half a bowl full then i went to get a drink but there was no ice available and half of the soda options had no syrup and were just carbonated water. No one offered to fix any of these issues, overall i’m completely disappointed with this experience and don’t plan on coming here again.

It was disgusting in there. They were making my burrito and it was touching sour cream, salsa, all types of things that were on the counter. They should wipe the counter top first. The counter top was filthy! 🤢🤮I will never come here again.

I just went there to buy 6 bowls this white kid who was putting the bowls together started off with giving me an attitude because I wanted 6 bowls like that was a problem. He was rushing as if it was a marathon giving me attitude all the way. Then scraped off the last tiny pieces of chicken for one of my bowls as if I’m some animal begging him for food. Idk where the manager was but this is unacceptable and corporate needs to get involved to train their staff better as to what customer service means or just don’t work there

To start off i never leave reviews but i sincerely hope this drives some positive change in how this location operates. The only reason i give the food two stars is chipotle gives delicious food but this locations portion sizes are god awful its hit or miss with them one day they give you a normal amount another day they’re giving you jack. I personally came on my lunch break at work to wait in a very long line for probably the most underwhelming meal. The workers work hard, management though has to learn about how to keep major necessities in supply like ice and the actual food. The employees though very hard workers and i respect it but i believe portion sizes should be a major incorporation in training people. I have tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt multiple times but i will gladly go to the chipotle in Sayville way better portion sizes.

I am writing to formally report serious issues at your restaurant located at: 1501 Old Country Rd Riverhead, NY 11901 During my visit, I observed unsanitary conditions, unprofessional staff behavior, and multiple food availability failures. The dining room was also in unacceptable condition. Food all over the tables, garbage on the floor. We attempted to order chicken tacos and a bowl but we were informed that chicken, cheese and both options of brown rice were unavailable. When my son attempted to order a kids’ taco, he was rushed and treated rudely by an employee. When asked if we want lettuce the employee just threw a handful of lettuce at the food and most fell on the counter and floor At checkout, we were told small chips were unavailable and were required to purchase adult-sized chips. A request to be charged appropriately, given the limited availability, was denied. We asked for the chicken price and were denied. This experience was unacceptable and reflects poor cleanliness standards, inadequate customer service, and lack of operational readiness. I expect this matter to be reviewed and addressed promptly.

I order from here probably once or twice a month and always receive a decent sized portion. Today on 12/17/25, late in the evening, the 3 bowls I received were barely full. This is what “extra beans” looks like and two of the bowls are missing things we ordered. I won’t be returning for a while, not worth it for the price you’re paying. You’re better off making it at home.

In what can only be the perfect set up for a television prank, chipotle will only allow you to order an adult quesadilla online. Thus, you can be in the restaurant and they will make it in the restaurant, but you cannot order it while you are in the restaurant directly through an employee. This appears to be the only menu item, that cannot be ordered directly through a person in the restaurant. We went in as a family of four, seeking two adult quesadillas and other dishes, but were unable to order the quesadilla because we did not have our phones on us. We spoke to the manager, and they said “that’s how chipotle works.” I responded, that’s how “chipotle doesn’t work.”

The 26th of this month I found burnt food that tasted awful, I went back to tell the supervisor the next night on the 27th about it, and he was being unprofessional, and than the young lady that was their serving the food was being rude, and giving me a bad attitude. This happend last night.

Extremely dirty environment. The workers serving the food don’t wear hair nets and I found a long strand of black hair in my to-go burrito bowl. The countertops are filthy and there’s no forks sometimes. The workers give the dirtiest looks for simply asking a question and/or when ordering two bowls. This is unfortunate because I’ve had good experiences at other chipotle locations.

Place was dirty. No where to sit, floors and tables were dirty even worse the countertops where they serve your food were disgusting. They contaminate all the food from spilling it in other trays and then when you ask for cheese theres lettuce in the cheese bin. Or if you ask for sour cream and theres corn and tomatos and cheese in there. Very gross and un appetizing. This chipotle needs new staff they all look misserable and are no help. The lady at cashier whispers when she talks and cant hear a word they say.

Terrible service even for pick up! They do not greet you and they have an attitude when you ask if your order is ready! Food in the bag was a mess. Chips tasted burnt. Horrible.
