Came with a party of 17+ this was my first time here. The service was excellent, Jazmin our server was fantastic. The vibe here on a Friday night was solid, great music, the DJs were playing the hits. The food was amazing, I got the ceviche de camarón. The agua Fresca de Piña was delicious. Highly recommend this place for a birthday dinner or any celebration. Thank you Jazmin for giving our party such great service!

Nice place. The food was okay, a little pricey, but nothing special. The drinks were whatever, nothing special either. I felt rushed; they only give two hours. Once you are done, they tell you "nicely" that your time is up. The atmosphere was okay. Customer service is good.

Needed more tequila, I order a regular margarita and it was like drinking lemonade, we order couple of shots on the side, the place had the music 🎶 super loud, hard to talk, we asked them if they can lower the volume , it was 5 adults and 2 kids almost $500.00 dollars later. Needed more tequila, I order a regular margarita and it was like drinking lemonade, we order couple of shots on the side, the place had the music 🎶 super loud, hard to talk, we asked them if they can lower the volume , it was 5 adults and 2 kids almost $500.00 dollars later. The flavor wasn’t bad, just average, and the food was a little cold for my taste. It’s not something I’d come back for specifically. Overall, I’d definitely recommend AY MIPA for anyone looking to have fun and enjoy the vibe, with the understanding that the food is more of a secondary part of the experience.

Unfortunately, we had had a long day, had a 3 year old with us and had believed google that this was a family friendly environment with a children's menu and it was anything but. I had a migraine when we left because my headaches can be triggered by flashing lights. Now servers...they must tip share...because they all serve all the tables. It meant no one person was paying attention. We didn't have silverware or napkins even after the table side guac was delivered. I got on small drink of soda water that was never refill despite being told it would be. Chaos. The food...here's the bright spot...it was really good! I had a fillet steak wet burrito and it was excellent. This place could stand on its own just for the food. Unfortunately, the atmosphere will deter regular patrons from repeating. The entire experience was gimmicky, loud, distracting.

So we thought... chilaquiles aguachiles Steak Pomegranate martini ( urgent care could be involved ) Chilaquiles came and the steak with it? Looked like beef jerky. Driest and old at least 4 days old steak if ever seen. DO NOT GET THE STEAK ON ANYTHING. Aguachiles? Actually pretty good. I can't hate on it. This they got right. We had it with green sauce. Pomegranate martini? Questionable fruit used. Questionable alcohol used. Resulting in one of our attendees having alcohol poisoning. But let's get into things before this all happened also. Waitress took the orders. Never came back to check in waters or anything. Straight up disappeared. Eventually the MANAGER had to come by and help our table. Agreed that the steak would be something not even she would eat. And that it was completely unacceptable. Plate was returned. Brought back with new steak still the same plate of everything else ( that's fine ) But the steak was still old, maybe a little better and extremely overly salted. Also the birthday girl ordered pancakes. And that arrived after EVERYONE else’s food. Completely unacceptable. Prices are completely outrageous considering the quality. This place is all for hype and social media. Sold to people who don't know any better on how food is actually suppose to be prepared, made and displayed. And that's not talking bad about the customers. This place is just a scam. One of those restaurants that attracts photos and hype. But doesn't live up to it at all. With that said? Highly recommend DO NOT GO. This place needs to step it up. Any restaurant that is family owned and an owner isn't present will degrade quickly. There's a reason the restaurant business is considered one of the worst to be involved in. This place displays that. Go at your own risk.

I have visited Ay Mi Pa several times in the past and have always had wonderful experiences, which makes tonight’s visit especially disappointing. I politely asked one of the servers what drink another table had ordered, and she responded by putting her hand in my face, saying “I don’t know,” and walking away. I was genuinely taken aback and unsure how to react to such treatment after asking a simple question in a respectful manner. Due to this interaction, I left feeling extremely disappointed by the level of service and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience has left a lasting impression, and I do not see myself returning to Ay Mi Pa in the future.

Half of our party was still having their drinks and had just finished their food. We ordered a particular drink and they told us they were waiting for the glass that we were using because they didn’t have a lot of those glasses as it has a specific design and they rushed us to finish because they needed the glasses. The chicken enchiladas were not flavored, It was just cooked chicken with no seasoning or anything. Our server also continued to forget our drinks and they were not great, we left a couple of the drinks behind because the were not good. They also charged us $50 to bring out the happy birthday sign and two scoops of ice cream. For the amount of money we spent we would not recommend it. We have had better experiences in other restaurants for half of the money and better tasting food.

Attended a sip and paint event which was great! Double check your check when it’s time to pay they add extra drinks to your tab rush you to pay quickly scroll down and show you what you order once you pay ask for the reciept I asked for a refund for drinks we DID NOT get per the manager no refund only credit for your next visit I don’t even come here often beware of this place!!

Had a reservation at 6:45 got sat and within 10 minutes ordered my food and drinks. I received my drinks and appetizer but never my entree. An hour has now passed by and still nothing. Not once did the waitress check to see if the entree has came out. I finally had to wave her down and when I tell her all she says is I’ll check on that and goes to another table so I waved down another employee just so happens to be the manager so she checks to see what’s going on and comes back with the waitress just to say the order was never put in! I would understand if it was busy but it absolutely was not! I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Poor customer service.

Yikes - where do I start? Sigh. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday on 11/16/25 with 6 of my family members (my birthday was noted in the reservation, never acknowledged by staff). We got there promptly at the 11 am rez time, and while we were seated quickly, our “server” took 15 minutes to introduce herself to our table. By the time she got there, we had more than enough time to look over the menu, so we submitted our drink (waters, 3 sodas, and 1 mocktail), appetizer, and main course orders. Another server delivered the drinks and forgot one of the sodas. Later on, a different server delivered our appetizer, which was undeniably cold. At this time, my dad asked for refills on the two sodas that we did receive. The server gave us a look that said “not my job” and we never saw him again. After a few minutes, my dad had to get up and interrupt the group of servers socializing with each other at the bar to get his refills. When our food arrived by other servers, everything was lukewarm or cold, and mostly unappetizing. Apart from when she took our order, we never saw “our” server again - not even at other tables within the restaurant. It’s like she vanished, and no one else came to check on if we liked our food. We waited for a while with zero attention from restaurant staff, and again, my dad had to get up and leave the table to go ask for the check. Someone new came up with a mobile payment device and casually announced the total of the bill ($280+) in front of the whole table. I politely advised him that we never received our 3rd soda and he matter-of-factly said that he’d remove it from the check without any apology or concern over the indication of poor service. As far as the ambiance, the restaurant was freezing. Many patrons were visibly cold and choosing to leave on their rain coats/puffer jackets. I wish I would’ve just made the drive to Mama Por Díos in Rancho Cucamonga because this restaurant really put a dent in my birthday weekend.

The food was okay, the waitress gave off rude vibes. Our glasses were empty and the waitress would look our way and then look the other away. We were celebrating my sister's birthday which I paid $50 for them to sing and they just dropped off 2 pieces of cake and it seems like 2 cones of thrifty ice cream and then they left... horrible! It feels like they judge you in a way you look, in a way..I asked politely for the manger and the employee laughed and said they get new management each month :/ I wish I could of gave this place a better rating..

Our waitress was horrible she checked on us 3 times in 1 hour and half. The food was tasteless. I order a filet mignon it was tasteless. My mash potatoes tasteless they didn't even have gravy. The portions were super small. My sister order chicken green enchiladas and they were cold. The beans were burnt, her rice had no salt. The cake tres leches was hard. Churros were so bad my sister literally spitted them out The portions were super small and overpriced. I wouldn't have a problem with either if it was tasty but it was the worst Mexican food I've ever had.
