Ristoro Emilia Rivoli Reviews
A very welcoming place, right in the city center. It offers an excellent traditional Emilian menu. The gnocco fritto is the absolute best.
Gorgeous and delicious restaurant in the heart of Rivoli, quality food and friendly, welcoming staff. I highly recommend it!! 😍😍 We'll be back soon. Thank you so much.
I had an aperitivo with a friend to try something new...a well-made platter of cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by warm gnocco fritto and tigelle. Must try!! Friendly and helpful staff!!
A quick lunch with my toddler: I had a piadina that wasn't your average piadina! It was very good, and he loved the fried gnocco with Nutella. Quick and friendly service!
Great experience! We chose this place almost by chance, but it was a wonderful surprise: the food and service are excellent, truly a piece of Emilia in Piedmont! We'll definitely be back.
🌟 *A corner of Emilia in the heart of Rivoli: simply perfect!* 🌟 What can I say... *Ristoro Emilia* is a true gem! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a genuine smile and rare kindness: the staff is attentive, thoughtful, and always available, making every customer feel at home. The food? *Extraordinary.* From the rich and carefully curated platters of the highest-quality cured meats and cheeses to the warm and fragrant *gnocco fritto* that melts in your mouth, every dish speaks to the passion for Emilian cuisine. The *tigelle*, served with a variety of side dishes, are a true comfort food. The restaurant is meticulously maintained, with a rustic touch that makes everything even more authentic. 🔝 *Highly recommended!* If you're looking for a place to eat well, feel pampered, and enjoy a genuine gastronomic experience, Ristoro Emilia is the right choice. We will definitely be back… and we will bring our friends too!

Superb! Friendly staff, quick service, limited menu. Excellent quality of the cured meats, generous portions. Even though Lambrusco isn't available, you can enjoy a very good sparkling Bonarda. Super affordable prices: a medium platter, more than enough for one person, with a generous amount of fried gnocco, costs €5. The only downside is the place: small tables and chairs, awkward and narrow. Coffee capsules of all kinds line the walls! Recommended!
Wonderful food at an affordable price!
Had an aperitif. Good value for money, with very friendly and fast staff.
My experience wasn't positive. I'd like to point out that reviews are meant to be constructive, so I'll give my opinion. The location is interesting; it's located in a historic square, which raises certain expectations that, unfortunately, I didn't find. It's unclear what kind of place it is; it's not a bar, not a pub, and not a restaurant. This uncertainty is also reflected in the menu, which is too basic, with few dishes and, above all, lacking in sophistication; everything is very predictable. In that setting—a cold day in a medieval village—I would have liked to eat a nice risotto and sip some wine, but the starters offered were the kind you'd find in any other cafeteria, nothing fancy. The decor is a bit cold, and even that doesn't evoke anything typical of Rivoli's historic center. In the end, I chose a classic speck and brie piadina rather than the only option, saffron rice. Service was quick, and the bill was reasonable.
I visited this place for an aperitivo, intending to take advantage of the vegetarian option offered. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing, due to unclear and questionable menu choices and pricing policies. Problem with the Vegetarian Option: The "vegetarian" platter included gnocchi fritto, grilled vegetables, parmesan cheese, and a drink. Out of caution, I asked for confirmation that there were no animal ingredients, asking if the gnocchi fritto contained lard, and they said yes. Frankly, I find it unfair to offer an option labeled "vegetarian" that contains lard. This is misleading for vegetarian customers. At this point, we asked if it was possible to have the platter with grilled vegetables and parmesan cheese without the gnocchi fritto (not substituting them). The response was that "for the variations" there would be an additional charge of 50 cents. I find it absurd that you have to pay a surcharge to remove food. Given the circumstances, I decided to forgo the food and just order a Spritz. At checkout, I was charged the full cost of the aperitivo (board + drink). No one warned me, when I ordered just the drink, that I would still have to pay the full price for the aperitivo. In response to the restaurateur: I don't expect a restaurant to necessarily have vegetarian options. You have every right to use the ingredients you deem appropriate. You don't necessarily have to have vegetarian options on the menu. But if you offer a vegetarian option (which you do have on the menu, I didn't ask for it), it's expected to be truly vegetarian, because otherwise you're mocking the customers who trust the restaurateur. And you're not just mocking vegetarians, but also people who perhaps don't eat pork out of religious belief, who order that board because they think there's no pork inside, when in fact there is. That said, don't act like you're inclusive when it's obvious you're not.
