Burger Street Roanoke Reviews
Good food and service. I had the spicy chicken tenders with curly fries. Hotter than Chick Fil-A spicy chicken. I love it! Will definitely go back.
AMAZING FOOD!! Freshly made when we ordered it. CRISPY bacon! And it was 15 minutes before they closed!
Closest Burger Street to Flower Mound. I have loved their burgers since I was a kid. Every Burger Street I've been to is the same Hot, Fresh and made when you order. This Burger Street is no exception.
I love their olive burger (drool)!! If you haven't tried it, you are missing out, and the customer service is always great there!
Ordered the junior cheeseburger well done with curly fries. Everything was cooked as ordered in a timely manner and tasted great.
Burger Street definitely has my favorite burger in DFW. My go-to is the Double-Double Cheeseburger with large curly fries and it's more than enough to fill you up. The lettuce is always bright green and crisp, and the burger always requires at least 3 napkins. Even though it's drive thru only right now, the drive from Denton is worth it!
I love it here. Food doesn't disappoint, and I like going back there and trying different options on their menu. Curly fries are really good!
Didn’t catch the new guys name at the window/intercom but this dude exemplifies what customer service is.. best service I’ve had so far..
Best tea in Roanoke! Burgers are excellent!
Great food and service the food was hot and fresh. This was my first visit to a burger street. Commend your employees Burger street owners they did a great service to us.l was visiting south Lake area.
I absolutely love their food but the last few times I’ve come by on a Friday night they were closed at 9 instead of 11 not sure why but I drove all this way just to get their food and was so sad lol .
It's a Burger Street; everything was great. I ordered my usual bacon cheeseburger and Diet DP and everything was fresh, hot, and made exactly how I requested. If I'm in the area again, I'd absolutely go back.
Truly the best burger place that has ever been graced to mankind. I’d eat a #2 Double Meat Double Cheese with everything on it but mayonnaise and tomato combo meal with a large fries and medium Root Beer 3 meals a day every single day if I had the chance. If I were to be on Death Row, this would be the last meal I would eat. Every single time I take a bite of a Burger Street burger, I am filled with happiness. It’s like biting into pure, delicious and greasy love, like a hug for my mouth. And that’s just the burger. The fries are better than any establishment I have ever been to, with perfect curls you can’t get anywhere else but with an iron. If you are planning on going to Burger Street, do it. It is worth every penny I have ever spent. Any day with Burger Street is a great day. I would give a million stars if I could. The best burger in the entire fast food industry.
I read a bunch of reviews and most agree it's good food but pricey...maybe, but you get what you pay for. Meat patties cooked perfectly, minimum seasoning which was good; they leave that up to you. Lettuce was GREEN, not "off white", love the Red onions and the tomato slice was perfect thickness. Double meat/double cheese. Worth it. Twisted Root is good, but here, no lines. Besides you're not always in the mood for a "market price" kangaroo meat burger. I like the fries by the way. And the service is good. Also got an "unasked for" discount since I was wearing a shirt that said US Army veteran. Nice. I'll be back, as usual....
I frequent this location and have brought family and friends. Its clean, quiet, quick, good quality, the staff are friendly, and has a delicious plethora of options for burgers and sides. I give my particular complements to Madison for her her tea blending skills and thoughtfulness.
I wanted a burger that was quick because I came from Houston after delivering someone's new car and had to get back before 7 pm, and I love burgers. I also wanted a burger from someplace that I've never heard of before. This place had the HOTTEST (temperature) burger I've ever bitten into. OH, it was goooooood; their curly fries were fantastic, and I'm overjoyed that they had Pepsi Products. I ordered the Double Double with bacon and cheese, curly fries, and a Mtn Dew. If I'm ever back in the area again, I'm definitely making another stop here!
Food is great. Fast service, and always get what I order and it's always hot. Warning, the chili cheese frito pie will have you letting off some doozies so you might want to skip that if you're working around a lot of people in close proximity.. 😉.. the burgers are great!
Food was good and the staff were polite, quick, and efficient. The place was pretty busy and it's always nice to see a mgr roll up their sleeves and jump in where needed. It's a good burger joint made better by it's people...
The burgers are always piping hot, the lettuce always crisp and fresh. I have yet to order and not get exactly what I ordered and the food being perfect!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick, delicious, and hot meal!!
First time here, and I must say the burger was nothing short of fantastic. Homestyle feel at a fast food location. I got the normal cheeseburger with onion rings and it did take a bit (drive thru) but it was ENTIRELY worth it. everything was absolutely perfect. Superb customer service as well, polite, friendly and thorough.
We had a great visit at Burger Street. First time here. Liked that they had free dessert. Prices are reasonable for the portions and freshness. My wife had the Jr. Cheese Burger. She says that she'd have it again. I had the Chili Cheese Burger. Nice 1/3 lb burger, meaty tasty chili, corn chips added some crunch, pickle, mustard and onion (I asked them to hold the tomato). The burger was tasty. The combination of the flavors was delicious. I also had the curly fries. Fresh. A few of them were not as crispy as the rest, but all tasted delicious. All in all, we'd come back and try some of the rest of the menu (or get lazy and have what could easily be a favorite again). The employees were really friendly and helpful. I didn't get all their names, except for Preston, but all seemed happy working there. I was happy being there too.
WOW! The food is fantastic and free ice cream??? This place needs more business!!! Our cashier madison was so friendly and repeated our order back, and everything was so hot and fresh!!! Thank you burger street for the fantastic meal.
This is not a fast drive-thru experience. That being said, it is great food. When they say “sorry for the wait” they mean it truly because they were preparing your food from scratch. These are great burgers that live up to the Deliciously Fresh standard they’re promoting.
The crew is great and most of the items I like. Sometimes the drinks are a bit funky. The hamburger patties taste a little off to me like freezer burn. But I love everything else. Turkey with Swiss is my favorite but also love the B.L.O. bacon lettuce onion.
The food was delicious, and the service was excellent as well. The store was spotless.
I’m not sure why I never stopped here. Classic greasy burger comfort food. LOVED IT. It’s best to eat in so your bun doesn’t get soggy. Skip Sonic and come here.
I came in right before closing time starving and figured That, since it was late that my burger would just be thrown together and average. But the service I got from Julian was outstanding the food all came out hot and fresh and delicious. Great place to grab a delicious burger and great people. Special thanks to Julian for his great customer service and quickness
Burger street has been my favorite since day 1. I was really sad about the one closing on Harwood but this restaurant is just as good! The veggies are so incredibly fresh every time and give you a perfect crisp. The meat is always so juicy and flavorful, and cooked perfectly and not burned like other burger spots. The curly fries are the best fast food curly fries around. Anytime I'm near a burger street I will absolutely pick that over anything else. 5/5 every time
Absolutely Love the food here!!!! The Best Olive Burger & Sweet Potato Fries in town. You don't want to miss this place if coming through town. Outstanding customer service!!! Such a Friendly & Welcoming atmosphere. Please more people apply to work here to keep this business going. Have An Amazing Day!!! 🤗❤️
Eating at Burger Street is a religious experience for me, It’s the best fast food burger I’ve ever had. I’ve been to locations in Arlington, Plano, and Roanoke with my expectations always being met with the same mouth watering perfect burger. I want to thank all employees who are working at any Burger Street location, don’t listen to the haters, you’re doing gods work.
We love this place. Get it delivered often and is always THE BEST. Never been disappointed in the double cheese burger. We get it every time.
Cook to order, very good service, hot, always good, hot and tastee. I've been here over 15 times over last 5 years and always been consistent. It's a little pricey, but worth it. Like a whataburger, that actually cares.
Only 2 ppl on staff, but they did the dance. Waited 10 min,not bad. The absolute best burger i ever ate,all 3 of us agreed. Curly fries were perfect. It's not a cheap burger, but we'll worth the money and wait!! Go,be patient and enjoy
Lunch before the Ecplise, Let me tell you we found the BEST HOMEMADE BURGER!! Delicious, juicy, fresh, omg the flavor was perfect! The curly fries were so fresh very tasty, perfect crisp! Half/half tea refreshing! The place looked empty but it was clean, & service was great. Service was kind & they were fast! We had #2 double cheeseburger & a #1 deluxe cheeseburger with curly fries. The price was good for the quality & satisfying lunch totally worth it.
I've been going to Burger Street since the week the first location opened. One of the two best local fast food burger joints, alongside Griff's. This location has an indoor seating section. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The food is top notch. My favorite is the bacon burger. The fries are legendary. The tots are good as well. Will definitely return.
A bit high on the price, but the portions are a good size. Cury fries are delicious and theres free ice cream while you wait for your order!
The burgers are consistently good, fresh and made to order. The best fast food burger in the area. The grilled chicken sandwich is equally delicious.
Great burgers. Much better than Whataburger. I don't eat the buns so I taste the meat better. Their meat is the best and worth the price & wait! I hope they don't close. Everytime I come they are out of something. A couple of weeks ago they were out of tea, tator tots, and onion rings. They've gone down a little too. Sometimes their fryer oil is bad & tastes funny. Disappointing.
Prices have shot through the roof. What used to cost my family $28 to eat here is now about $52. Great food, just getting too pricey for us to visit as often as we'd like to.
It was a cold day in January and the place was empty. However the staff was friendly, the burger was hot, the fries were crispy. Only bad thing was that the sweet tea was too sweet. Next time I'll make it a half and half. 😊
Great burger and curly fries! Nice, new location! Definitely have some kinks to work out as far as training employees but overall a good experience.
Never been here before surprised at quality for fast food place. Very good. Burgers aren't overly thick..so get double patty if you're looking for heft.
Food may cost slightly more than normal BUT it is completely worth it. I love the olive burger. Staff is very friendly and if they mess up your order at all (I've had it happen twice) they compensate you generously usually with extra food. I'm not saying it's ok to mess up orders, but people are not perfect and it happens, and when it does a company should really pay attention to how they handle the situation and I believe burger street does that very well. Update. Finally had a bad experience. Extremely long wait time in drive through. All hope is lost
My service was excellent. The food was tasty. It was the icecream. Lots of flies all around the machine. Kind of gross. They weren't regular flies. More like fruit flies.
Solid 4 stars - would be 5 if it didn't take 25 minutes in the drive thru. Location is great, staff was friendly, and the menu has entry to choose from. Great burger spot - lunch/dinner...easy go-to option. Speed of service in the drive thru - terrible. Still would recommend. This one issue is fixable - just needs to be sped up for sure.
It was my first time having Burger Street, and I have to say, it wasn't what I expected it to be. If you're eating the single-patty burger, it has a good ratio of meat to vegetables. If you're eating the double-patty burger, there's plenty of meat, but that's what you want. Surprisingly, for a fast food joint, the food was pretty fresh. We ordered a Hamburger Combo, a Double Cheeseburger Combo, and a Pineapple Shake. Don't look at me. The Hamburger Combo was what Jordan ordered. Who doesn't eat cheese when eating this? Anyways. It had the perfect ratio of meat to veggies--everything was perfect. The Double Cheeseburger was great, though it may have had TOO much meat--which is completely fine. Everything was fresh but didn't have the right proportion of meat to veggies. The Pineapple Shake was good at first, but towards the bottom, I had the taste of vanilla ice cream more than pineapples. HOWEVER, there are pineapple pieces throughout the shake. Overall, I would return. The food was the most fresh from any fast food joint I've had, so definitely count me in for the next trip. Our total was around $27.
This place really just does one thing but they do it very well... burgers! They aren't crazy, they are all pretty basic but they are good. The tater tots and sweet potato fries are great and, the best part, is the free unlimited soft serve ice cream! My favorite thing to do is to have them fill my soda cup up with half root beer and then top it off with soft serve. My own home made root beer float!
Great burgers. I went recently and it definitely brought back the nostalgia factor.
Tator Tots! Curly Fries! Frozen Lemonade! Yum yum yum! This is what Sonic should be like. The portions are perfect and cooked well. I also had the hot dog which tastes like beef. They have PEPSI and use HUNTS ketchup, I mean c'mon how can you not love that? Friendly service and you wait a bit but its WORTH it. WILL be back :)
By far the best fast food burger around. My order: double cheeseburger, curly fries and drink. Burger was delicious and SUPER SUPER fresh. Curly fries were good and fried to order. You can tell the oil used was fresh as well. Drink was good as well. I’ll be back.
Food tastes like the original burger street in dallas off mockingbird .......but the sewer gas smell is strong in the bathrooms.
So excited to see this location open. Not so excited about the prices. Thought the building was too big. The original business plan was just a small drive through. This location can't last much longer with high prices and long wait times and huge lease expense. Shoulda kept it smaller and cheaper. Best burgers around though, hands down.
One star down for unsweet tea and watered down Dr Pepper, one star down for the unattended car sitting in the drive through the past couple days. Shift to neutral and get it out of the way or have it towed! Otherwise wonderful service & delicious food. Not many curly fry joints around here
Ran by at 1:45 on a Thursday craving one of your burgers. Sat at the drive-through menu for about 5 minutes with no response. Tried going inside, and even though all the lights were on and the music going whole place is locked up. No signs indicating they were closed, sucks cause I really wanted a burger. Maybe next time.
First time trying this place. It was ok, just your average burger joint. Overpriced, though, and the cashier messed up our order (fortunately we caught the error quickly). There are better value options elsewhere, so I'll probably not bother going here again.
Burgers were good but not super good... the chicken strips were tasty as well. However, this location did not provide napkins nor ketchup at thr drive thru, so -1 star for that.
Tonight was our first time visiting Burger Street.... we got to the drive thru & we were the only people there, and it took forever for someone to take our order. We placed our order and waited and waited, finally got it and got home and realized my chicken breast that was on my sandwich was like a 1/3 the size of the bun! I barely got any chicken! The food we got was good, which I was I gave 3 stars but overall t was not a great experience...We are bummed it wasn't a good experience because we have been excited to try them out.
Food was decent. Dining room, tables, condiment bottles, trash receptacles and baskets food is presented in all need good and regular cleaning. Please do better so customers will feel like management cares about cleanliness-
i used to love burger street as a kid, but they just don't do it for me anymore. although... there blt is pretty good. it doesn't disappoint. its hard to find a fast food hot dog anymore. there hot dog is decent but would get an additional star if the chili was better. that said i still order here and enjoy it every now and then.
Food is outstanding. Some of the best fast food you can get. But the service extremely slow. Waited on the drive though for 20 mins for two burgers and fries. Staff was nice about it but still 20 mins is u acceptable.
Always liked it till this last visit. The burger was cold the curly fries were colder. Took almost 45 minutes to get our food. When i asked about was told they only had 3 people working. Never an excuse for serving cold food. Will not be going back after being sick half the night.
I always like to give food joints the benefit of the doubt after reading the reviews. However I was wrong for doing that in this case :/ We did not get the $8 chicken tenders we ordered (realized when we got home) and our buns were cold! This location seems to be struggling and understaffed. We were the only ones in line on a Sunday night and our order was still wrong! I gave 2 stars for the lady at least being nice.
Great food terrible service. The guy really didn’t care about getting our order right. And I asked him several times.
Food was good as always. After being charged we noticed all food and drinks were $2+ more then listed on the menu. When asked they said “sorry it’s an old sign.” Even drinks were 2$ more then listed on sign behind counter. Like I said food was good but sign is dishonest. Oh and after that my little girl went up to get her ice cream from the machine in the lobby and it’s broken.
Came here and got the double double burger with curly fries and a sweet tea. The fries and tea were good but that was about it. The burger tasted extremely bland and the bun tasted extremely cheap. It reminded me of a cheap school lunch.
I ordered unsweetened iced tea, I received sweet tea with barely any ice. After waiting 5 minutes he brought my food and I told him I needed unsweetened tea and would like more ice than what he put in the wrong one. It took me less than 5 minutes to get home and no ice in my tea. Picture attached. Also I don’t think he really likes his job.
This has to be the worse burger and fries in Texas. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I literally never see one car in the lot, never a car in the drive through and always thought is this place even open? Today im a rush to get home. I ordered a simple JR. Cheeseburger and curly fries, first of all the order taker seemed pissed off and angry, mind you NO ONE was in the drive thru not in front or behind, no greetings just angry and then the disgusting mess of a burger looked disgusting took a few bites and it was as bad as it looked, soggy wet mess, fat dripping all over the wrapper bread wet just nasty. Well now I understand the empty lot.
Exterior of the restaurant looked really nice. We were gunna go to Panda express but decided to go here. We regretted our decision. Food was expensive, Basic options, no meals options. The worst thing about this place is that their pop was flat, and THEY ADMITED THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE. The staff were nice about it, but They only offered to replace it with sweet Tea and refused to refund it. The fries were good. The chili Burger was large and moist, But very over powered by the mustered.
Been sitting at my table waiting now for 40 minutes for my food. My lunch break was over 10 minutes ago. People have come in to order after me and ordered "to go" and have left within 5 minutes. Paid $12 for my meal and having to wait this long? NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE.
Terrible! The girl behind the counter must have been high. Spilled my drink all over the table. Didn’t bring one of my kids food out. Charged me for an entire meal when I just wanted the burger. Food is average at best. Never coming back here. Will just hit the Whataburger down the road from now on.
Just rude. Bad customer service. Our first time there and we just pulled off because the cashier got rude with us at the window because we misunderstood her at the drive thru speaker. She even stuck her fingers out at us and basically saying it was our fault she didn't get our order right. Guess we'll never know what the food taste like at this location (shrug)
I can't remember the last time I felt so cheated, I decided to try burger street today, I had wondered why the place always seemed so empty so I decided to try it and find out, and now I completely understand. The menu for the drive through doesn't state the actual price of the combos, I was automatically upgraded to the largest drink they had, the service was bad and unfriendly, the wait was at the least 4 to 5 times longer than any other fast food I've been too, and to my surprise to basic number one combos was $18.36, I had to read the receipt a few times to make sure I heard what I was charged right. The price of those mediocre burgers is nothing but outrageous and I would have asked for a complete refund had I not been in a time crunch because of the food taking so long. I will be sure to never return and won't be surprised if this place goes under.
Good food, but $19 for TWO number one, single patty standard burger combos. We upsized to large which translated to all of 15 tater tots and about 7 onion rings. The food was comparable to a Whataburger but more than DOUBLE the price. Fast food at full service, sit-down prices.
I have given up on this location. I tried to order delivery through the Uber eats app and Burger Street cancelled my order. The last time we visited the restaurant, prior to COVID, it was a weekday during lunch. The young lady that worked the front counter acted as if everyone in the restaurant was an inconvenience. When I asked for a refill for a drink, she rolled her eyes.
The women’s restroom didn’t have soap or paper towels. So I went to the men’s to wash my hands and gagged and couldn’t stop. My order was horrible and the ice cream had a weird taste.
45 min before closing and they had all the chairs on tables and lights out in the dining area. 4 employees loitering (two of which had their butts sitting on the counter) I'm sorry but when a business lists its hour of operation and no sinage for drive through only etc. I call pure laziness on the employees and poor management
Three days in a row I had to leave the drive thru line because I had been waiting for 15+ minutes and it was not packed at all any of those days. Its extremely frustrating when this is advertised as a quick bite and it takes longer to get my food than at a sit down restaurant. How long does it take to make a burger!?
I'm pretty sure a double double means double meat and double cheese. Apparently they don't feel like it comes with any cheese. I'd expect thia from a place not charging 10 dollars for a burger. Aslo the drive thru takes forever.
Why do you say your open until 11:00 PM and at 10:43 PM ignore me at the WINDOW??? Close at 10:45 or simply tell me your closed! If I owned this business, I’d be sad that your employees, are Turing away business at such a vital time when many businesses aren’t making it! I’ve had a long day too... A simple, “I’m sorry, we’re closed,” would suffice.
Good burger. Good fries. But they have trouble remembering to actually put all the food in the order when you have something delivered. You'll have to go there yourself and double check what's in the bag before you leave, which is inconvenient. Don't trust delivery. Update - silly me. I trusted delivery one more time. I ordered a burger and 2 fries. They sent me 2 hot dogs, 1 fries, 1 onion rings - probably just clearing out the leftover food for the guy who ordered late. NEVER order from them. It doesn't matter how good the food is if you don't actually get the food.
Pass on this crap! The food tastes like something I would get from my old high school cafeteria! Both our burgers came out correct but the sweet potato fries were cold. When I asked the employee what came on the burger he acted like I wanted him to recite the Declaration of Independence from memory. When I ordered two burgers only and a large side of sweet potato fries I was told that there are only one size of sweet potato fries even though the sign listed sweet potato fries and the price listed was under the large and no price listed for small/regular. I told the guy I know and I wanted a large. We ended up getting them as a side on a meal combo and it was a small handful...cold. Totally stupid. So much for one size.
We don’t come to this restaurant often but every time we do it’s very dirty inside. It’s never busy so there is plenty of time to clean. The manager didn’t seem to care much about the appearance. The soda syrup was out and the ice cream machine either doesn’t work or is so runny you can’t eat it. The food wasn’t very good either, dirty grease. Won’t come back to this location any time soon.
Stay away from this place. Ordered sweet tea and it was sour. Thankfully I ate inside and was able to switch it out. Ordered a Dr.Pepper it was flat. Decided to do water instead. I literally watched the blonde cashier and shift manager still serving old tea and flat soda to other customers. It wasn’t until I got up and addressed them for their disgusting behavior that they decided to address the issue. The shift manager even decided to let me know that they only change the tea twice a day. You’re telling me out of a 12 hour work day you only change it every 6 hours!?!? That is disgusting. I love Burger Street but I won’t be coming back to this disgusting location. This places was filthy inside. Lights out, trash all over the ground, dirty tables, empty ketchup bottles, broken ice cream machine, all while the staff hides in the back doing nothing. It took us customers yelling for their attention before they would come to see what we needed.
We arrived at drive thru at 12:55. One car at the order speaker. We order burger a day fries. We left at 1:20p. Fries were barely warm. No apology at the window for the long wait. Not worth it.
Waited up to 30min and a car in front of me drove off. I did appreciate the overflow of curly fries but they were fried hard. It's the wait made it worse but the staff was friendly but dry
Hire someone that can speak proper english plz!!! repeated my order so many times I ended up getting fed up and pulled off.
Ordered 2 combos, a single sandwich, and an extra drink. $30. The person at the register apparently couldn't understand and messed up the order completely. Price is not worth the quality..frozen patty. This was our 1st time here and our last. I go not recommend this place. No wonder Noone comes here. NO KIDS MENU EITHER.
Asked for sweet tea, got unsweet, asked for Diet Coke, gave us regular Coke, ordered onion rings, they weren’t in the bag. And overall food is mid. Burger taste like it was made in my highschool. And took a long time even though they were not busy. Can’t rate the atmosphere because we went through the drive through. For the quality of food it cost too much.
This is our last time trying Burger Street. So very disappointed ! It cost us $36 for two cheeseburgers , fries , onion and two drinks ! What would have been under $20 at every other fast food restaurant! And the quality was crap! The burger was disgusting !!!
Went their about 30 mins ago ordered a number # 1 asked for cheese to be added and no pickles and then got home and guess what no cheese was on my burger and it was full of pickles and to top it off my burger was dry as it could be not juicy and hot like the burger street quality used to be this was disappointing
I love burger street and eat there often. What i hate is pulling up just now and being told by some punk kid that he can't take any drive through orders because they're backed up. Didn't even try to say hey we're slammed it might take a few extra minutes, just sorry, we're too busy. Being in the weeds is part of being in the service industry, Mr. Manager/Owner, if your employee's can't handle it, send them to work at Chili's. They'll fit right in.
I will never go back to this place, I suggest there are other places that are better! The cleanliness of this store is horrid! Every tabe in the place was dirty, fries and what not on the floors, my shoes stuck to the floor as I walked. Was told not to use the ice cream machine because it was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Four employees there, all of which were having a riot being social in the back while the place could have been cleaned. After mentioning that we were not happy with how horribly dirty the place was, the rudeness of the women working, as we walked out the doors of the women saying loudly"someone needs to clean the lobby" twice in a snotty voice was enough. If the food prep area has the same cleanliness, some customer is going to get sick. The health department needs to go through this place. The bacon cheese burgers were really good, the curly fries were good, the tots were just ok. The service was average at best, the younger women working there didn't seem to want to be there.
