Atlas Eats Rochester Reviews
This was an amazing dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Perhaps some of the best I've ever had in this region. I couldn't recommend this place more.
Great hidden gem! We went for the Puerto Rican themed night and food was delicious! Place was clean and adorable! Plenty of parking! Will definitely be back!
Had an outstanding tasting menu of about 9-10 small plates. Each one was delicious. A limited but quality wine list. Would definitely go back again.
Have loved brunch and dining here many times. Always an exceptional experience. Since there are only 24 tables, it’s a quiet atmosphere and quite charming. One of my favorite restaurants.
A true Rochester gem! Excellent flavor combinations with both traditional and non traditional breakfast dishes. Kimchi pancakes with a poached egg were spicy and delicious. I will be back again and again, I must try everything on the menu!
What a hidden gem, I was in the area today and googled places to eat near me. After seeing great reviews, I decided to give this place a try and boy let me tell you what a great decision that was. My fiancée and I were waited on by friendly staff, checked on by the owners, and served a delicious meal in a beautiful setting. We appreciated the humble attitude followed by an amazing meal and we will definitely be returning to support this great family owned and operated business!
Great place for unique take on food. My family and I went to The Atlas for the first time today and we enjoy great food as well as great service. Located in Inrondequoit on N. Clinton Ave this place is a gem. Today's soup was Salmon Chowder and it was perfect. I had the Kimchi Pancakes with poached egg and dragon sauce. Everything was so fresh and flavorful.
Easily my favorite place in Rochester! Affordable and the quality is top notch. I got the chicken biscuit, which came with a small salad. My partner got the seasonal salad, which today consisted of watermelon feta and quinoa salad with fried green tomatoes. They serve beer and wine too. The mimosa and peach puree drink are amazing. Great brunch place. Please follow on Instagram for more foodie adventures: @cophiescrumbs
Best brunch in the Roc! The chicken cutlet is crispy, tasty, and delicious. The ranchero breakfast is also super good. And the bacon? Incredible. Real fresh bacon - not that packaged stuff. Finally, get the bread pudding. Just do it. It’s the best I’ve ever had. Seasonal fruit, a bit of chocolate, fresh cream all compliment this perfectly baked dessert. Don’t skip it. Seriously.
It was my first time visiting this charming gem and I was extremely satisfied with the experience! A friend and I went for Sunday Brunch and were thrilled to find that breakfast was being served all day (till 2). Both indoor and outdoor seating was available. We settled into an indoor location and had a chance to admire the decorations and sneak glances at the attached bakery. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful in making our ordering decisions. We ended up choosing the skillet, kale salad, and a stack of whole wheat pancakes to share - everything was scrumptious! I would definitely order any of these again in a heartbeat. On our way out, I also ended up buying a loaf of ciabatta bread (another tasty find!). In all, I would surely go back to Atlas Eats. Till then, I'm recommending them to my friends and am looking for any excuse to make another journey out there.
I feel like I’m giving away a secret reviewing this. Three visits so far, definitely coming back! The menu is short and each option looks good - bonus points for creativity and a menu that changes! Prices seem reasonable. Fresh ingredients. Only down side is you may have to wait to get a table, but it’s worth it! (I can only comment on the brunch/lunch experience, although my expectations would be high for dinner too)
The hidden Gem of Rochester. I hope no one reads this so this place doesn't get anymore busy as it is, but the food is top notch, staff is immaculate, and you haven't lived until you've done one of their dinner multiple course meals. They are always changing geographical themes, and they are always can't miss. And DO NOT sleep on the Kimchi pancakes
This is my favorite place for Sunday brunch. Every weekend they have some special dishes so we can always try something new. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere. Even if sometimes you have to wait to get a table, believe me, it is worth it! My favorite dishes are Ranchero Roll and Aussie Burger!
2 pieces of advice. 1.) go when you are excited about every menu piece & 2.) don’t go during the summer. The AC is under powered and we were extremely hot. Overall it’s a great and fun experience. You feel like you are on a food network TV show. Staff is kind and friendly and is there to help you have a great time. We were underwhelmed with the seasoning and flavoring profile of the dishes. We expected with the price to be blown away at the dishes but only 1/5 carried that weight. The others were decent but felt like they lacked flavor of some sort of another. It would have helped if I thought of advice piece number one before going. I would go back but only if I was excited for ever dish as I first stated.
Atlas Eats is a unique, cute, cozy eating experience, with a quite diverse menu, and a nice vibe. The staff is friendly, open, beaming, the brunch I had was good, no doubt, but it wasn't good enough to justify the price. This is Irondequoit, not Paris, France. Unfortunately, the place is limited in space, and the host tried obviously to make the most out of it, which leads to a massive lack of room. The tables are FAR too close for a halfway private conversation, or a decent noise level. It was extremely loud for the few present people. One has to squeeze between the tables, it's overcrowded. Remove some tables, and my rating jumps up right away.
Service was friendly and knowledgeable - and we like that the menu changes every two weeks. We were there for the caribbean/island theme. The first two dishes we both thought needed salt - both were on the bland side to us. The rainbow salad (the third course) was my favorite dish - the spicy lime vinaigrette gave it some heat and tartness, the pickled onions gave it some acid and the fresh fruit gave it some natural sweetness. The shrimp curry I'd classify as mild - and the shrimp was slightly over, not yet too rubbery but past tender. The dessert (buneulos with banana ice cream) - I also really liked. I'll gladly pay for exceptional food - the bottom line for me was, for the cost, the food should have excellent, bordering on exceptional - and IMO three of the five dishes should have been better. We also took some things home from the on-site bakery. Some macarons. a lemon loaf cake, and some macaroons. Based on these three things I would gladly purchase anything from there. The macaroons I can't imagine being better - they were exceptional. The Nanaimo bar and lemon loaf cake were very good as well - and all the baked goods were consumed the following day.
Ate here once. Not really sure why everyone raves about it. I think the concept is great but the food is nothing to write home about which was disappointing. Also way too pricey.
