Pie Time Rochester Reviews
Ordered off of Slice. Even during peak hours, food came very quickly and was delicious. Asked for my Buffalo Wing Pizza to be well done as I prefer a crisper crust, and it was cooked to perfection. Great food, will definitely order from here again!
We found Pie Time about a year after moving near it. It has never disappointed. It's closer to a NYC style pizza, the wings are nice and crispy (The way we like them) and the sandwiches and sides are good as well. One of the best things at this hidden gem are the french fries! They have a Cajun seasoning sprinkled over them giving them a good kick! Tonight we tried their "Pot Pie" style pizza which was like a giant calazone. Don't sleep on this place. We've turned many friends into it, and they haven't been disappointed.
Love the place, great pizza and wings. Fast delivery and reasonable pricing. Great pie Great price. What else do you need.

Was looking for a place. Found them on slice. I was very excited to see a NYC style pizza. This is how I love my pizza. Wings were cooked the way I liked them. Went with mild. My husband prefers more sauce on his. He really enjoyed the blue cheese with huge chunks in them. This place is a hidden gem. We will order here again. Going through slice it was ready in about 15 mins.
The owner is friendly, always on site and so accommodating! I prefer my pizza with a bit more sauce and not cooked well...I walked in 6 weeks later, not only did he remember me, but how I liked the pizza! Very reasonable prices, but the welcoming owner is what brings me back! He is truly a person who belongs in the HOSPITALITY profession!
I love the taste of the pizza and the crunchy wings. This is the first time we have tried Pie Time. This is an alternative. The owner on the phone was nice and caring when we inform him of the little mistake. I call it little because of the result and his reaction. We received and New, Fresh Pizza. We kept the first one because I can eat that one, my other family members cannot. Great Service.
Order showed up sooner than expected. Wings were perfectly crispy and saucy. Hot sauce was the perfect spice. Pizza was slightly underdone for my preference but that's on me for not requesting. The food is delicious! Definitely recommend if you're in the area
Really nice pizza. Good flavor on the crust and not nearly as greasy as any other local place I've had. Also seems to be the only place I know of that actually makes your wings crispy when your order then crispy. Definitely recommend.
This is not a dine in place, take out it is. Have been back a few times now and the steak subs are great. I have had the wings which were also very tasty and cooked nicely. I still have to try the pizza, others I know say it is a very good pizza. Owner and staff were very friendly. I will be going back again.

This place is newer from what I hear, but the food was really good! We had a trash plate pizza and it was delicious!

I want to like the place, I do, but there's just a little bit wrong with everything. My calzone was good, but the fillings were sparse. I asked for no ricotta, and got ricotta in it. The interior wasn't offensive, but it was a little depressing. My food wasn't ready in time, but it was only a few minutes late. It's just in need of a bit of more work everywhere to be good, I feel.
100% pan pizza. Pan pizza is bad. Asked for well done wings and they were just done. Pizza is not well done like asked for. 7/11 has better pizza tbh.
I liked the pizza. We ordered pizza yesterday and that was good. They offer unique flavors, but I ordered a garbage plate today and it was terrible. The fries tasted like oil and weren’t seasoned. Burgers were not seasoned and kind of dry. Mac salad tasted like it was boiled too long and had no flavor. It didn’t give me any options to add ketchup or mustard. Basically stick to the pizza.

I was a little disappointed in tonight‘s pizza. Pie time usually does a great job, but the crust was overdone, and there was absolutely no mozzarella cheese, despite requesting extra on it. You should try the white pizza though it’s generally very good!
So I live down the street and decided to try this local pizza. The pizza was ok, kinda hurt my tummy because they put hotdogs on my pizza instead of meatsauce and didn't give me my garlic crust, so I was annoyed the first time I order directions wasn't followed I spent about 50 bucks on my food also why would u send 1 bluecheese and 1 boss sauce obviously that's no enough for the mean I ordered... Goin to Salvatore nxt time.
The spaghetti and meatballs were just terrible. The meatballs had zero flavor. They literally tasted like a ball of ground beef without a pinch of seasoning. The pasta sauce was thick and paste like and also had no flavor. They used angel hair pasta instead of spaghetti noodles and completely over cooked them.
Ordered pizza and wing combo. The wings were way overcooked. The pizza dough was really thick and under cooked with some raw dough spots. I just didn't care for the taste of it wings or pizza. The pizza was better than the wings . The cheese part of the pizza was not cooked enough for me. None of us cared for the order at all. Very quick and delivery guy was very nice. Decided to try because my regular pizza place was closed, but I shoukd have not bothered. Well live and learn.
Starting with the positive as we normally order via Grubhub. The calzones are fabulous and it comes with sauce I have never tried. Tonight we decided on the garlic knot crust pizza w pepperoni. First, tastes nothing like a garlic knot and looks nothing like the crust pictured. More importantly, the sauce is TERRIBLE and ruins the pizza. It is bitter! Like it was from a generic company. The cheese and pepperoni is sparse as well. Normally I would complain to Grubhub (only when truly warranted) but I have yet to ever see a refund. I advise Pie Time to find a different sauce...it's beyond awful. That being said, steer clear of the pizza! I will order the calzones/ stromboli again SANS sauce!

I really wanted to love this place as it's very conveniently located for me and I prefer supporting small local businesses. Unfortunately my wings were very dry and I could tell that they had been freezer burned prior to cooking. The wings were also small and not very meaty. The sauce however was good.

Ordered 2 sheet pizzas for a birthday party online. Day of party someone from there called to ask if we got our pizza we said no. At this point they were already late. Called them to verify still coming and they said they cancelled our order and now we're to busy to make them. No apology said they would refund and hung up....we had no food for our guests. Thank God for Salvatores!
