Kingburger is always a stop for me when it is open on my way to/from Lake Amistad. The food and friendliness are always very good. For the price, the burgers and enchilada plates are great. The only item I have had there I would not order again was a breakfast biscuit - it was dry with chewy bacon. Other breakfasts have been fine, and their tea is always fresh tasting. Really enjoy the hometown atmosphere.

I love this place. Don't let the exterior fool you. The staff is great and super personable. The menu is full of surprises and everything we tried was beyond tasty!! Highly recommended if you're traveling through. Try their chicken fried steak plate, they hand bread it themselves and you can tell. If you like tea, their tea is obviously fresh. Highly recommended!!

The Chicken Fried steak was absolutely delicious & the hamburgers were excellent. I had mine with jalapenos on the side for that extra punch. But overall the service was great and very friendly.

Greatest place to eat in the Texas Hill Country and on Rocksprings. No other restaurants in this town (past or present) could compete with this restaurant. Their homemade salsa is out of this world. Highly recommended coming here.

When we visit Rockspring texas, we make sure this place is on the list to eat. The tostadas are delicious, and the homemade salsa is the best. The service, food and atmosphere is more than 5 atars. Grandma ( I say that because she reminds me of my grandma ) is the most friendliest person you would ever meet. Go get you some King burger!!! Highly recommended.

Great place in Rocksprings! They have more than burgers. The enchiladas are my favorite. Vince, the owner, is usually there and very friendly and helpful with information about the area. Food is great, staff is friendly.

Skeptical about this place! I've never been to Rocksprings TX., I was there for a military funeral! Knowing this town is small, I had to goggle for a place to find breakfast tacos! King burger, I didn't think this place had breakfast! To my surprise they had tacos! Very good tacos! More than the average size tacos! Great atmosphere and other customers were really nice! I reccomend this place!

This small locally owned busy restaurant is very good in terms of quality of American and Mexican food at very reasonable prices around $10 per meal. My sister and I had a burger and an enchilada plate. Both were acceptably good, not outstanding. The atmosphere is small town vibes where every local knows each other. In my opinion the building needs upgrades but that may lead to higher prices. In summary, for a decent meal at a decent price this is a decent restaurant in Rocksprings to visit.

Service was fast, food was tasty and the price was great. One star removed for the interior which hasn't been updated in decades, but if you like that kinda place this is perfect. Otherwise, it's a pretty good eatin' joint in a small south Texas town.

Food was Sick. I walked in and the owner just looked at me, id never been there before so I sat down. Then she yelled out" Sir!! Have you never been here before??" .... You order right here. The whole restaurant turned and looked . She looked right at me on the way in, she could have welcomed me or something . I should have left then. I was starving so I ordered and waited . Went to the restroom to clean up and it was DISGUSTING. Also no toilet paper. Came out and Sat down and flys were everywhere. I got my food and it was bland and flavorless and tiny for almost 14$ while fighting off flys. I will Never come back here. GROSS 🤢
