We stopped in for dinner the other night. You will find plenty of parking nearby in the parking structure. The restaurant itself is large and the home of a former Ruby's Diner. We got a lychee tea and a peach tea. Both were delicious and refreshing. First up was the wagyu sliders. The burgers were so tender and flavorful. We also got a flaming wagyu plate that they torch tableside for you. Dip the torched wagyu in the provided ponzu sauce and it will take it to another level. We also got a wagyu fried rice. So delicious and cover that rice in the provided broth. So comforting. We got a wagyu beef stew. I am not a fan of stew but this has changed my mind. The broth was amazing and the beef and vegetables melted in my mouth. Finally, the A5 wagyu pho was unreal. The broth is so good. The A5 so fatty and melted on my tongue. Game changing experience for sure. The staff was incredible and friendly. This will be your go-to to pho restaurant.

Everything was delicious! But i am officially obsessed with that sandwich! The bread was fresh the meat was so tender and the sauce was perfect! I also highly recommend the beef stew! Ive never ate anything like it! It was way better then the beef stews i am used to eating! The pho was also good! And finally the drinks were BOMB! Either one u get is good! They are both sweet! Lychee is refreshing and the thai tea taste like dessert

Finally, a true Vietnamese pho spot, where the soup has very low MSG, and still tastes top quality! The flavors are authentic and the “flat noodles” are fresh noodles at no extra cost. The quality of the meat is very good, and the broth is one of the best. How were we so lucky to get this in the South Bay? The owner has two locations in OC, and we are really getting a treat to have this in Palos Verdes. The Shaken Beef is VERY GOOD as well! If you have kids that are 5 years old and younger, they get a “baby bowl” of plain pho in soup! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He’s very friendly and passionate about the quality he serves to our community. Very good service, and great employees!

Outside the window, skaters swirl across the ice rink below, couples holding hands, kids wobbling around like baby deer. You sip a Redbo cold brewed tea while watching the show. It’s the perfect charming little date spot. It’s cinematic. Except… when I went, there were no skaters at all. Just a perfectly good rink sitting there like a stage waiting for the performance to start. Still — the view is there. And you can absolutely imagine how cute it would be when the ice fills up. First Impressions The moment you step inside, the ceiling catches your attention. Lanterns. Every color imaginable. They float overhead like a festival suspended in mid-air, giving the whole dining room a warm glow. And then there’s the chef’s window — which unexpectedly has this retro diner vibe. It’s like two aesthetics met halfway and decided they actually liked each other. It’s cozy. It’s playful. It’s a little unexpected. The Food I already know what I’m ordering when I come here. Two words: the sliders. These little flavor bombs are easily my favorite thing on the menu. Perfectly satisfying, easy to share… or not share at all depending on how generous you’re feeling that night. And the lychee tea? Absolute must. It’s refreshing, lightly sweet, and somehow feels a little fancy without trying too hard. The kind of drink that makes you slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The Service Now let’s talk about Erik. Because Erik deserves his own paragraph. He was wonderful. Helpful. Knowledgeable. Effortlessly charming. The kind of server who actually knows the menu and makes recommendations that feel thoughtful instead of rehearsed. Honestly, Erik could sweet-talk me into eating my own shoe and I’d probably thank him for the suggestion. He’s that good. The Atmosphere The restaurant filled up quickly with families and kids, which could easily turn chaotic in most places. But somehow the sound distribution here is magic. Even with a full dining room, you still feel tucked into your own little corner of the evening. Your table still feels private. Your conversation doesn’t get swallowed by the room. It’s lively without being overwhelming. The Overall Vibe Pho Redbo feels like one of those places you discover and quietly keep in your rotation. It’s comfortable. It’s charming. And when the ice rink outside is actually full of skaters, I can only imagine the dinner view becomes even better. For me? I’ll come back for the sliders, the lychee tea, and honestly… to see Erik again. And maybe next time, the skaters will show up too.

I’ve been a fan since trying their OC locations, and this new spot did not disappoint. The place is spacious with plenty of seating, making it a great family-friendly option. Their A5 wagyu pho is amazing, and the broth is so comforting and healing. The Bo Kho (beef stew) was super tender and full of flavor. I also really loved their peach and lychee tea.

The food was delicious. Broth was good. Meats were tender and flavorful. Portions good for a large. The Pho combo had a good amount of protein. Vanessa and hostess were very friendly and attentive.

So happy that one of my favorite OC pho restaurants is now in South Bay LA! It’s where Ruby’s used to be, next to the ice rink. I attended their media preview before it opened to the public (follow me @catrinoms on IG), and everything was just as delicious as at their OC locations. Love everything with Wagyu!

Sage was an amazing host and our sever did a great job being attentive and knowledgeable. Good atmosphere and good location. Had egg rolls and the Pho sandwich which came with side soup that was also tasty 😋

Tucked where the Ruby’s used to be next to the ice skating rink, not too salty, high quality beef. Mom liked the XO tail, Crispy fresh veggies.

My child has a hockey practice weekly at the rink near Redbo. I hadn't ever tried pho but had heard that it was delicious so I took the opportunity to try it one evening. I wasn't feeling well (possibly a cold coming on) so I ordered my soup to go. The service was amazing- the staff were so friendly, patient and welcoming despite the fact that it was a busy night. They explained the menu, checked in to see if I wanted a drink as I waited and made sure everything with my order was perfect. If they are this nice with a takeout order, I imagine the dine in experience must be fantastic. Do yourself a favor and stop by. The staff is great and the pho is magical. So delicious. I swear it cured my cold.

It’s been raining lately and my son and I were craving some pho so we came here. I didn’t know what to expect and left pleasantly surprised. The server, Eric, was very friendly. I noticed he was on his own, but he still attended to our every need. I tried the pho with rare steak recommended by the server and it was great-broth is a little sweet but full of depth. The best thing about this place though is that they give a free baby bowl broth to kids five and under and my son really enjoyed it. Great food and great vibes and great hospitality will be coming again.

While I believe the food (specifically the pho) was a bit too sweet for my personal taste, the overall atmosphere was great! I came with a couple of friends and got served our food piping hot at a rapid pace. Our server was someone named Hillary who was pleasantly amicable and attentive to our needs. Wonderful experience — please try it out yourself if you ever get the chance!

I been to a lot of different Pho restaurants and I finally found this gem. The food was excellent. The service was on point and nice atmosphere next to the ice rink was really nice. The A5 waygu pho was on point! The sliders.....probably the best sliders ive had in a while. Highly recommend this place!

The waygu sliders were amazing! It was my first time trying the location and I was blown away by how tasty they were. I’m definitely coming back to try the other items on their menu. Everyone was so kind and sooo attentive. Each staff member made sure we were taken care of. I definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to try what else they have!

Expensive, but overall good quality pho. It's located in Rolling Hills estates right by the ice rink. It's a smart location, lots of families come by after ice skating lessons and have dinner there. There's plenty of seating inside. Service is a bit slow or they're just understaffed. We came when it was relatively empty around 5pm, but the one waitress/front desk person told us to wait a few minutes since she was the only person I saw taking orders, serving, and seating. Eventually someone came out and seated us. I think during time we dined there, they only had 2 waiters taking orders and serving for the entire place and one person packing up all of their to-go orders. Took a while also to take our orders, I saw the same waitress seat and take orders from another table before we finally got our server to acknowledge us and take our order. Staff is very friendly and helpful when they get to you. The food is of good quality. I think because of their location and the locals they're targeting in the area, it's well done. Food is generally expensive for what you get. You're looking at a $20 regular sized and $24 large pho, with more premium options up to $45 with A5 wagyu. I miss the days when pho was an affordable comfort food. They give you plenty of bean sprouts, basil and jalapenos. Don't hesitate to ask for more if you need, no additional charge. The broth is delicious, maybe slightly saltier than I'd like, but flavorful. We got the large combo and it was a good amount of noodles. All of the beef is really good (rare steak, cubes, brisket). Perfectly tender and just the right amount of fat. The meatball is nothing special. Overall, while the pho is good and worth a try, it's not a place I'd come back to often. It's a bit out of the way in Rolling Hills, and there's a lot of other options in my opinion for good pho and better value.

This restaurant is next to the ice skating rink in the mall. I tried the American Wagyu pho at $20. Broth is nice and the cut of beef was also good and tender. Probably because I had really excellent pho in LA I am not able to post a 5 for pho. I heard that their sliders are good. A5 Wagyu pho is $49 for those of you who want to splurge. Park in the near by parking structure.

Another pho place in Rolling Hills! There are a lot to cover! To the point - Taste: SUPER - Vibe and Service: AWESOME - Price: A bit too expensive for pho - Recommended: YES - Returning?: No (but could be for you!) 1. Vibe You can tell that this place is new by new furnitures and various utensils, kitchen area and etc. When you first walk into it, it definitely looks fancier than any normal pho restaurant. You might believe it if you think that it's a bbq or burger restaurant. 2. Servers They were very nice! No negative experience with them 3. Price As you can see from the menu, prices of food is a bit too high, considering a pho place. In general, you wouldn't expect to see $20+ pho before tax. I definitely didn't expected it because pho is something that you can eat without even thinking about prices (meaning less than $20). However, when you taste it, you do understand why. Again, I think it's too expensive. 4. Food Thai tea It came in a cute juice bottle and a cup of ice. And no, it doesn't taste like a normal Thai tea. It tastes like Thai tea tasting yogurt. I'd recommend drinking it after mixing with some water. Wagyu Egg Roll I have to admit, it was one of the best beef egg roll I've tasted! It was rich with flavor and packed! Oxtail pho Okay. This is when I understood why this pho place is expensive. Their soup was good (4.5/5), noodle was not bad (3.5/5), size was definitely big and filling (5/5) but meat quality was really really good (10/5)!!! I didn't expect such quality meat. When you eat it, it really melts in your mouth! I gotta admit, meat can basically cover the remaining points of noodle and soup. Wagyu Fried Rice It was good but they can definitely tone down on meat. Too much meat. 5. Comments I liked everything here. Overall definitely recommended for everyone to visit. If you want high-end pho place, you might actually really like it here. For me, since I'm just so used to "pho-like" pho (for example, Pho Hana & Saigon Bistro) with normal pricing, I would be happy to eat where I used to eat. Don't get me wrong though! Great food for sure!!!

Newly opened Vietnamese pho restaurant. The food was good, staff were friendly. The biggest problem of that place is the noise. The way it is structured, there's no sound absorption, it's really hard to talk to people sitting on the same table even though it's not a full house. They need to make some changes. The receptionist could not even hear me when I called to make a reservation, it's that loud.

I'm faithful to my local pho places on the hill, but because of the halal options I gave it a go with my friends The fries were delicious. Super crispy as well as for the egg rolls. The pho was just okay, I feel like it's def overhyped and was a little disappointed. There was no "wow" factor for me. My friends ordered the fried rice, I tried some and it was good. However, we all agreed for each of our dishes that they were definitley under salted. Good for those who eat halal, good for those who don't like salty food, but I'm staying loyal to my local pho places

While the food here was fairly good, it took us over an hour to actually receive our bowls of pho. It took 15 minutes to be seated at a basically empty restaurant and took 25-30 minutes to actually have our order taken after being sat. It seemed like they didn't even assign a waiter to us until we had to stop someone to ask if we could actually order. The server who worked our table was very sweet, but we felt as if we were ignored when trying to get the attention of any server after waiting for so long. The service was so slow that my party and I almost left the restaurant multiple times, but decided not to as since we already waited so long to order we might as well continue to wait for our pho. The table next to us was able to order 3 minutes after being sat, so we're not exactly sure why our table was not served in the same timely manner. The food is pretty good, but the service needs a lot of improvement.

Stood at host stand waiting while hostess sat the group infront of me. All while the "owner" just stood there doing nothing. Asked for booth as its easier with our little one which confirmed was available then led to a different table saying the booth isnt available. Then I see another group being sat at the exact booth we were told was available. Ordered egg rolls which were "sold out" and was recommended fries instead (really? out of egg rolls at a pho place but have fries?). Food was mediocre. Also the price online is lower than actual price at restaurant. I'll drive a little extra and get better rather than settling for convenience.

Went in for the first time and we had to wait for about 10- 15mns before being seated, despite there being several open seats. Staff walked past us and didn’t even acknowledge us. In the meantime we started looking at the menu so we could order as soon as they were ready, as we were in our lunch break. We ordered their spring rolls and the sandwich, which both were good and had good flavor. We also ordered the combo pho and beef stew, I can’t say I liked or ate the beef stew. The beef stew flavor tasted like canned beef stew and the meat was really fatty, so we just took it home for our dogs. While we were seated the table next to us gets seated and they politely inform their waiter that they were ready to order whenever he was & to everyone’s disbelief the waiter responds with “well I’m not” and walked away! lol needless to say they complained to the manager about their experience and the manager just made excuse for their employee, but to be honest the manager (who sat us down originally) gave our table worse customer service than the waiter. We definitely won’t be back, as the food wasn’t enjoyable enough to go back and the service def left a bad taste in our mouth.

Ordered their most expensive wagsu 5 pho at $45, very disappointed, tough and full of MSG. Definitely did not melt in my mouth. Worst Wagsu ever tasted. Waitress confirmed MSG is used. Extremely noisy. Never come back again.

Went in to have dinner and the hostess tried to seat us right in front of the entrance door which was horribly cold with wind blowing in. I simply requested to move to another table and the hostess said she had to ask the manager the manager said you either take these seats or you can sit outside. My response...I'll never come back and walked out.
