The Steak House Braulio Roma Reviews
Fantastic dining experience! 🥩 Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and perfectly cooked meat — juicy, flavorful, and top quality. The menu offers great variety, from classic steaks to local specialties, all beautifully presented. Prices are fair for the quality, and the service is fast and attentive. A must-visit for meat lovers visiting Bormio! 🍷🔥
We had a great time at The Steak House in Bormio. The staff was welcoming, the service was super fast, and the food was delicious. Super tender beer-glazed pork shank with polenta on the side was tasty. We found Tartar to be just okay, a bit bland in our opinion. Bombardino was exceptional. Overall would certainly recommend this place.
I ordered pork ribs with their signature sauce and found myself licking my fingers to savor every bit of the sauce :). I believe it's called vino brulé, and it was delightful. My wife had the trout, which she found a bit too oily and not quite fresh. Meanwhile, my daughter relished her chicken with French fries. The hot chocolate was also quite delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
I went to eat here a couple of times during my stay in Bormio. I liked the variety in the menu, and the portions were good, something that can't be said of every restaurant in the town! I was super hungry after all the cycling and hiking and this place didn't disappoint! The food was well prepared and tasty, and the service was polite and fast.
Visited 2 times in week. Food was delicious, tried Pizzoccheri, Ribs, risotto and dessert. Loved it, lady who served us was kind, guys in the kitchen were smiling...this part was fine. But the reason I put only 4 of 5 is your "manager" or cashier or who it was. First what we have seen after we came in was his upset/sad/tired mood. Second red flag - he started to serve food (IDK why) but in way that he did not put the plate on the table but to customer's hand. 3rd one, during the payment no interest if it was ok or not, nothing. Nice restaurant but your "manager" should think about his behaviour or find a different job. Thank you.
We reserved tables here at for 9:30 pm and they told us that the kitchen will close at 10 so we asked if they still serving and they said yes. When we arrived the waiter was in a rush they give us the menu and he came back to us and I say I’m not ready yet so he became more rude. So at the end I choose what I saw only. As you can see they have a show kitchen so after we order we saw that they preparing it too fast. When the food is ready the waiter gives us rapidly showing us that we need to move and eat fast. I didn’t liked the attitude even you don say anything but it sees on your motion. We called first and you said yes that you can wait us but suddenly the behaviour is not appropriate as you said. Food was quite nice. Place was huge and modern design.
I had an excellent fillet steak, and my partners sirloin steak was average. Grilled vegetables and salad were delicious, beer was nice and cold. Served quickly and food arrived in a timely manner. Prices not exorbitant. However, despite the vast number of staff on the floor and only two other diners besides us, we were left with empty beer glasses and not approached by any staff member. We were not offered a dessert menu, but I was asked how the meal was as we were leaving. In summary, too many staff with nothing to do...so they do nothing.
Terrible place and service. I have ordered Glen whisky, was billed for Jack Daniel's, also have ordered Veal Chop, was served Pork Chop. And instead of compliment, it was explained that this is white young Beef! At the register, as I have returned the Pork Chop, I was told it is a gift for me. Would not recommend this restaurant at all, taste is good, 5 star to the Chef, but 0 for service.
We arrived without a booking and were grateful that the restaurant was able to accommodate us with an outdoor table. However, it was around –7°C, and while a few other tables were also seated outside, we assumed that service would be reasonably quick given the conditions. Our antipasto and drinks arrived in good time and were quite nice. Unfortunately, after that we were left waiting approximately 30 minutes in the freezing cold for our secondi. During this time, a waiter came out to ask if we would like to order dessert, which made it seem as though our main courses had been forgotten. We then watched around four tables who had arrived after us receive their food, so at the next opportunity we asked if we could be moved inside. We were told that the restaurant was full, and we continued waiting outside. Our mains eventually arrived another 15 minutes later. When it came time to pay, we again struggled to get a waiter’s attention and eventually had to go inside ourselves. At that point, we noticed around six empty tables inside, despite it being only 1–1.5 hours before closing, making it unlikely they were being held for later reservations. Overall, pizzocheri and polenta were mid, the service and handling of seating made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing especially given the extremely cold conditions.
Food was great. Service was awful! We were the only people in the restaurant. We had to go to the bar to ask anytime we needed something. People working had their friends come in and totally ignored us for over an hour. We go to Bormio every year and have for over 30 years with big groups we will never go back here again. EDIT** we we're in March 1st at 5 530pm.
