Un posto scoperto per caso, passeggiando dietro il Pantheon, e fu fin da subito un’esperienza piacevole! Il ristorante era strapieno però il cameriere ci ha trovato una sistemazione comoda in un tavolino fuori, accanto a una stufetta. E in meno di 5 min di attesa stavamo già mangiando la nostra carbonara (strepitosa!!) e la pizza capricciosa, accompagnando tutto con un buon vino di casa. La maggior sorpresa è stata più tardi: poter conoscere personalmente al propietario Michelangelo e condividere un piacevole momento di chiacchiere, degustando un panettone amablemente offerto da lui! Non c’è dubbio: a tutti i miei amici che viaggeranno a Roma, questo sarà il primo posto da raccomandare! E a cui tornerò volentieri!

Ristorante in posizione comodissima, facile da raggiungere. Personale cordialissimo, attento e veloce nel servizio. Cibo davvero ottimo, curato e di qualità. Graditissimo il pandoro e i limoncelli offerti a fine pasto, un gesto che fa sempre la differenza. Torneremo sicuramente!

My dinner at Miscellanea was the best meal I experienced in Italy- most importantly for the food taste and quality but also the atmosphere and staff. The restaurant is family run and the staff is extremely accommodating, attentive and welcoming. It has a relaxed but bustling vibe, perfect for both casual and more upscale occasions (and of course a great location so close to the Pantheon). The portion was so generous that we couldn’t finish it, and the waiter immediately figured out we wanted to take it home, so they packed it up for us. Having had dinner at this restaurant two nights in a row, I can safely say that this place had a great dining experience all around. On separate nights, I'd ordered the seafood risotto and the carbonara, and both were very delicious to say the least. With a complimentary slice of watermelon, a spritz at the end of our meal, and very friendly staff, my family was delighted with our experience.

The location is great. You can see the back of the Pantheon, but it is a quieter side street with shade and a nice wind flow that was welcomed and refreshing all around. We were able to seat a large group of 12 outside which is why we stopped initially. We had the CALAMARI (20euro) which was delicious and generous serving size with a homemade tomato sauce for dipping. (It was so good we dipped our bread and ate every last drop. ) Honestly best calamari we have ever had. We came back a second time just to have it. Some dishes are homemade pasta - some are not. Try the taglioni. We got the "meat grill for 2" for 40 euro. A selection of chicken breast , steak, pork, and sausage come sout in a sizzling cast iron. All the meat was very tasty, especially the sausage to our surprise. It comes with a side of roasted rosemary potatoes and you can ask to have half potatoes - half salad. Potatoes were so good. The salad was not a choice we recommend. The amount of meat was incredible. We were not able to eat even half of it. You could share it easily with 4 people. You could order a single meat choice grill meal and share with 2 people no problem. At the end of the meal they bring you complementary a choice of either strawberry prosecco (made by then) and it is very fun and refreshing drink on a hot day OR a glass of limoncello. They also brought out huge slices of watermelon for the 5 children with "on the house" We would only suggest remove the sign that is advertising "sexy wine" on the door frame. It discredits and cheapened the appeal abs ambiance of the establishment - and made us want to find somewhere else to go. We are glad we stopped because of the food and service.

The food was incredible! We devoured the 4 cheese gnocchi and pesto gnocchi, both of which exceeded our expectations. Not only was the quality outstanding, but the portion sizes were generous for the price. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who effortlessly managed multiple languages, making conversation a breeze. We even received complimentary watermelon and digestive shots, adding a lovely touch. The atmosphere was delightful, and with amazing food and exceptional service, I wholeheartedly give it a 10/10 recommendation.

Miscellanea truly has some of the best food I have ever eaten in my entire life. I am from the USA and have been in Italy for the past month, traveling all over the county. This is by far my best dining experience I have had here thus far. For my starter, i ordered crostino alle melanzane (bread with eggplant & mozzarella) which i wish i ordered 3 more dishes. For my entree, I had the BOMBOLOTTI ALL’AMATRICIANA. let me just say, this was the most incredible dish I have ever eaten in my life, and I would recommend it a million times more. The service was wonderful, one of the staff who might’ve been a manager or owner gave us their “sexy wine” after we spoke with him about how incredible the food was. Overall, very friendly towards tourists, insanely delicious food, and a beautiful environment. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND, DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

Favourite meal in Rome so far!!! Really good food, such lovely staff, and AMAZING price deals. For €15 got a bruschetta, delicious and big serving of amitriciana pasta and glass of wine (plus a free extra little glass, bread basket and fruit for dessert). 100% recommend!

it's a really good place, very friendly staff very good place, really recommend it for anyone visiting the Pantheon. we ordered two carbonara and a bolognese, both at about 12-13 euros we waited about 10 minutes more or less but it was really worth the wait because the pasta was great and it was a really big plate too. they gave us bread and Parmesan at the start along with a bottle of water and ice in a separate dish. at the table there was also already salt, pepper, olive oil and i think vinegar, the menu was kinda meh but big and everything in Italian and english. the pasta was also cooked al dente and not overcooked which i also really like.(also as I'm writing this we were about to ask for the check and we got watermelon on the house, which could've been because they saw me writing or just to be nice but idk, still really good though)

At first, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly gentleman who seated me right away and quickly took my order. He was cheerful, smiling, and created a good first impression. I was in a bit of a rush, as I had a scheduled visit to the Pantheon shortly after—which, by the way, is just a two-minute walk from the restaurant, making its location a definite plus. After waiting about 20–25 minutes, it turned out my order had been forgotten, but to their credit, they made up for it quickly and brought out my spaghetti bolognese within the next five minutes. The dish itself was tasty, though nothing extraordinary. At the end of the meal, I was offered a complimentary glass of limoncello, which was a nice touch. What bothered me, however, was that the man who had been so friendly at the entrance seemed to lose all his charm the moment I agreed to dine in. The sudden shift felt quite forced and disingenuous. Still, overall, the experience was more positive than negative.

Not great. Not bad. We had a pizza that wasn’t quite cooked all the way and a couple of overpriced drinks. But it’s the center of the tourist area in Rome. Whadya gonna do?

Posso parlare per quanto abbiamo preso, primi romani come spaghetti alla carbonara e pasta cacio e pepe senza sapore, vino sfuso la prima volta buono, al secondo giro era diverso e non buono. The only good part of the meal was the free watermelon and drink at the end. One of the sandwiches had what looked like cotton fuzz sticking out of the melted cheese. Il proprietario impaziente con l' area so'tutto. Io modestamente non tornerei neanche per un caffè che non sanno preparare ( un macchiato sembrava non sapere cosa fosse)con il personale che non sa l' italiano e pure cattiveria gratuita verso i CAMERIERI TRA CAMERIERI!

I ordered carbonara, risotto, and wine. The flavors were delicious, but both the carbonara and risotto were far too salty—I couldn't eat them without coating them in olive oil. I usually prefer rich flavors, but this surprised me. People with high blood pressure should be careful! And make sure to hydrate after eating!
